I love the look of Birkenstocks but sadly these didn’t work out because they run narrow.

They are not as unfashionable as I thought they would be, when I asked my husband what he thought he just shrugged and said they look like birks haha whatever that means. I wear a 41R in birk sandals and that is also the size I wore in these.

Great fit and quality. Suede is very soft and a little thinner than a similar pair I'd bought 20+ years ago.

These were perfect and just what I was looking for - a comfy clog to wear on casual days. There is no extra lining for warmth - just basic and simple - but the same wonderful comfy footbed that Birks always deliver o. I have a narrow foot and Birks always fit me a size big so although I am always a 5 in US shoes, I always have to wear a 4-4.5 in Birks

I bought these to add another color option after falling I love with a pair of soft footbed suede Bostons. I ordered my usual size and they were sooo right! Had to send them back, but love the style and soft footbed. Definitely great support, the size was just all wrong.

Loved them from the minute I slipped them on. Went with the narrow width as I’m a female, and it is perfect. Not too narrow and the buckles provide plenty of flexibility to adjust for different sock thicknesses. Missed the comfort of my Gizah’s once it got cold and wanted something I could wear in the winter in the house that had better arch support than slippers. These are absolutely perfect and look cute with skinny jeans so I can wear them as a casual shoe too!

I love these shoes but I should have listened to the reviews and gotten a size smaller. I got the Narrow thinking that would be enough but they’re still too roomy. I like a snug Birkenstock fit, especially because I got the suede and I know they’ll stretch more than the leather.

I love these! They felt broken in by the end of the first day. Even better than being barefoot:)

Great to wear with skinny jeans rolled up to show off a fun pair of socks. I’m a 7.5 and the 38 fit perfect!

I originally ordered the 42R, but they seemed way too small, so I ordered the 43R. It fit lengthwise, but it was still too narrow. I normally wear 11-12 and sometimes B and sometimes W. I was disappointed these did not fit.

These shoes were made for my feet! These are the best shoes! I can comfortably walk arting all day and they look cute with my scrubs.

If you wear only one style of Birkenstocks, the Boston soft footbed is a great choice. After a week for your feet and the Boston's to adjust to each other, they are comfortable, even for a 16 hour day. Because the footbed requires precise placement of your heel, arch and toes to be effective, correct sizing is essential. If a Birkenstock store is within driving distance (there are four of them within 70 miles of my home) you should get your first pair from them after an expert fitting. The Birkenstock store can arrange repairs also (new heels for $25, new soles for $45). Key to fit: Match the Boston size to the largest size shoe in your collection. So, if your largest shoe is a men's 10, you wear a size 43 Boston. The Boston regular width is for average to wide feet, for people with bunions, and for people who wear thick socks. The Boston narrow width fits most women with average width feet and is great for men with narrow feet. The narrow width fits people with average width feet who never wear socks. The "hard" leather versions stretch slightly in width with a few weeks of wear so should be slightly snug when new. Because hard leather does not stretch much, folks with bunions or swollen toe knuckles should select a soft suede model instead. The suede, wool and felt models stretch a LOT over time so should fit quite snuggly when new. Many people with average width feet will need to select the narrow size to get a snug fit. Use cork sealer monthly to protect the cork. Avoid getting the cork wet. Keep your Boston's away from heat, such as keeping in a parked car. Replace the heels and soles before any cork is exposed. Your Boston's can last five, ten, even twenty years with proper care.

The fit and size were exactly what I usually wear and they look great as well.

I haven't had a pair of Birkenstocks for some years but due to cranky feet I decided to try them. These soft footbed Birkenstocks feel great and give my foot the room I have come to enjoy.

I absolutely love the fit. The 39 reg was a bit snug w/O socks. I usually wear a 39 in Birkenstock sandals, so the 40 reg are roomy, and just right, with or without socks!!! I love the Boston!

I live in Birkenstocks clogs year round. The softfoot bed has become my new favorite. I have a pair of purple suede that I have worn out, so....I am experimenting on making my own by dying a pair of taupe. I'll let you know how they turn out.

I find these very comfortable. I had some trouble finding the right width, since Birkenstock is not very clear about what its "narrow" and "regular" width means. The "narrow" is something a little bit narrower than a "B" women's width; the "regular" is about midway between a women's "C" or "D" width, I think. This is approximate, and I am guessing. At any rate, I ended up with a "regular" which is a little wide, but I punched an extra hole in the arch strap to make them fit tighter on top. The soft footbed is terrific. They are classic Birkenstocks, meaning they look like duck's feet. I use them in place of slippers around the house. I chose the black suede. The shoe size seems roughly accurate according to the charts. I got a 38, and I wear an 8 women's size normally. There is no extra room in the toe, so if you wear sox, you would need a bigger size.

Comfortable, but I think if I go with clogs, I want something that can dress up or down.

My recommended size was a 39 (I am a size 8 M) but found the 38 R to be a great fit. This is my first pair of Birkenstocks and the soft footbed is what convinced me to try them. They are very comfortable and supportive. I will try another pair in a different style now.

I couldn't be happier with this purchase. They're perfect for fall and about as cute as Birks can be. :) The taupe suede is really pretty and goes with everything and the comfort is off the charts. Great arch support and plenty of room for your toes to spread out. This was my first time getting the soft footbed and they feel awesome. So comfy and I'm tough to please (minor bunions, big toe longer than the rest of my toes, etc.). I read a zillion reviews before purchasing, which was super helpful with sizing. I am always a 9 and I got a 39 (which is an 8-8.5) and they fit perfectly. My foot is normal width but I followed other reviewers' suggestions and got a narrow and I'm glad I did. Maybe it's because they are unisex, but I feel like I would have been swimming in them if I had gotten a normal width. Anyway, I love 'em!

I've never owned an enclosed Birkenstock before. I ordered my regular size 41 and it feels like my toes are rubbing on the edge of the shoe. I am not sure if it is because the leather is stiffer or the wrong length so I am going to choose the suede in two sizes to compare. I have flatter feet and need a long time to break these in so I need to pick the right size. I guess in the brown leather at least I would say they feel about a half size small compared to my sandals
