The Boston Soft Footbed is wondereful. However, I will return for the same shoe in Narrow vs the Regular. My left foot is a borderline 38/39 and my right foot is a solid 38. I read a review from a customer with the same problem who ordered the 38 Regular instead of the 38 Narrow, and this solved her problem. Sadly, this did not work for me. I appreciate the fact I can return the shoe and reorder in my correct size.

Awesome! I normally get a 41 but I decided to size down to a 40 and they fit great. Not to tight and not sloppy. Very comfortable.

I am on my feet a lot, and I know Birkenstocks are known for being very good to the feet. This Birkenstock Boston soft footbed is so comfortable and supportive; perfect for getting my work around the house done and for running errands. Great shoe for those of us on our feet a lot and who need comfort and support to keep our feet and posture healthy and aligned.

I worn my clogs today and as always very comfortable. I look forward for my next purchase.

My size range is 8.5-9.0 and I bought the 42, but had to return them as they were a little too big. I went for the 41 and it fits perfectly. This is my 4th pair of Birks and understand it takes a while for them to mold to your feet and break in. Bostons are my favorite because I can wear them year-round.

I have been resoling my original pair of Boston's since 1995. They still feel great but the suede and cork are a little beat up. I will continue to use them as a beater pair. I thought that I'd try the soft soled version this time and I think that they will be great. They still feel like they have to break in a bit, but not nearly as much as the original ones needed to. The quality looks the same as my original pair from the 90's and they feel great. I look forward to decades of use from this pair as well. Love Birkenstocks!

Love the soft footbed. Sizing is off though and ordering a size smaller and the narrow width worked it’s magic. The shoe is comfy, cozy in suede. Taupe goes with everything. Perfect for hanging out at home or going out and about. Really good arch support too. The shoe will eventually conform to my foot but in the meantime it’s still an exceptionally comfortable shoe.

I love my new Port Suede birkenstocks! The color is rich and adds a bit of spunk to my typical outfit of jeans + white/black/grey top. I wore them all day right out of the box and they felt great. As to sizing - like many have noted, they run big. I am always a 9M. Always. But in these shoes a 39 narrow is a perfect fit. And that still allows me room to wear them with socks in the winter, like I did yesterday. Shoes like this are expensive but an investment that is worth it.

If you order Birkenstocks order the soft foot bed and order from Zappos because their real... I ordered some from the Birkenstock website and they didn't look real so I returned and ordered from Zappos... I was on a wait list waiting to order from Zappos and got an e-mail letting me know my size were in stock... I've been ordering from Zappos every year for three years... The fit is wonderful and will order again...

Had to exchange for a size 36 from 37 , I feel they run large. I usually take a 6.5 -7 shoe . Great support and toe room . Comfortable from the moment I put them on. First pair of Birkenstock but definitely not my last !

These clogs were comfortable, right away (as were the Birkenstock sandles, which I bought with this order). I prefer the option of the "Soft Footbed" to the footbed with less padding. In this shoe, I was seeking something with more coverage (but still a slide-on) than a sandle. In my Central Florida city, these two styles of shoes (i.e., clogs and sandles) should get much wear! I like to walk; and comfort and protection are what I seek from a shoe. I also like neutral shoe colors, to match my clothes, for ease in dressing. :-) I don't wear shoes in my home; so a slide-on, at my front door, is so convenient for me! I, most often, wear a size 7 shoe; and have an average, leaning to narrow, foot width. These clogs fit me, perfectly! I'll be able to wear an average or thin pair of socks with both of my new pairs of Birkenstocks. I like the "Habana Oiled Leather" color and look of this clog, as I appreciate neutral-colored (i.e., brown) shoes with a matte finish (so a potential scuff won't glare out, as much as with a shinier shoe). Additionally, I like the natural materials that are used in the Birkenstock brand (i.e., cork and leather). I was glad to find that a narrow width Birkenstock worked for my feet, as I wanted a slimmer look to my shoe. I really like my new clogs; and expect to have many years of comfortable walking in them!

I purchased this same shoe in a different color a while ago and love the shoe! I really appreciate the soft footbed as it is a lot more comfortable for me. Because I'm so happy with the other color, I had to have this shoe in black also. The narrow size is still a little wide for me as I have a very narrow foot; however, it's perfect with socks. I require arch support but don't want it to feel like a stone in my shoe. This arch support is perfect. I love shopping at Zappos! Their Customer Service is second to none. First pair of Birkenstock’s. I have tried them before but never could get pass the hard insole and wide width Thought I would give the new soft a try and so glad I did, I am a med. width in all shoes so I ordered my normal size with narrow width and they fit great. (Still room for socks )Wanted these to wear around in house on hardwood floors and these do the trick so far to relieve foot pain and knee ache from going barefoot.? I also purchased a pair for hubby , he hasn’t tried them yet so that review will be later.

This is my 3rd pair and I love the Boston for cold weather. I typically wear a size 10 sneaker and size 9.5 loafer or dress shoe. My foot also measures a 9.5E on the Brannock device. Based on my normal size I should wear a 42, but the 42 is too big. The 41 is perfect. I highly recommend Birkenstock Boston shoes. Once you break them in, it's like an extension of your foot.

Extremely comfortable since I have very problematic feet and most top named shoes cause me pain....These offer pain free walking.. Had to go up 1 size and to the Regular width.

I exchanged the 39narrow for 40 narrow...I should have just gotten the 40. I’m a 8.5-9 but 9 is becoming my go-to size in flat shoes.

My brother got a pair of Boston’s for Christmas a few years ago. We all teased him because they’re a little goofy looking. Fast forward, I’m in agonizing back and foot pain. My doctor says it’s my shoes (men’s dress shoes I thought were half way decent). So I bought a pair. I LOVE THEM. I wear them all the time at home, and I often bring them to work to change into when I’m in my office. They are so comfortable. I’d definitely recommend the soft foot bed. The one downside to the suede is that it flops down when you take them off. I’ll buy the leather for my next pair.

I just didn’t like the shiny leather. Because of the wide nature of Birkenstock clogs they looked a bit like clown shoes to me personally. However great quality still and materials.

I typically wear a size 5 medium. After reading other reviews, I ordered a full size down and ordered the narrow rather than the medium and they fit perfectly. These clogs could be cushier in the foot bed area, but they are pretty comfy and I love the way they look. As a casual, comfortable shoe, they are great.
