Nice shoe, but quickly stretches - I am enjoying the shoe, but much too quickly, the shoe stretched. I really need a 5 narrow, so this is always a consideration for me.

My second pair. I love the comfort level and the look of these shoes. This is my second pair and would highly recommend.

Style and Comfort - I have foot injuries so it is difficult to find a shoe that works for me. This shoe has a soft foot bed and is a good fit. The leather on top is a little stiff, but I am hoping it will soften some. I have two other pairs in this style and they have worked. There is very little arch support so I have put poster putty in to give me some support in that area.

Good for the feet - This shoe looks ok on, not elegant or dressy. Looks better with pants. Very comfortable.

It is a beautiful shoe - This shoe is even nicer looking than I expected. The cushion on the inside is fabulous. I am a little disappointed because it runs a little big. Not being sure if it comes in a smaller size, I will keep it, (I usually wear a 4.5 or 5) and wear a heavier sock with it.

I love these shoes! I have been plagued with foot problems for many years and have had multiple surgeries. This is my third pair of SoftWalks. The San Mateo style was comfortable immediately and stays comfortable even after I've walked or been on my feet for awhile. I have not found another brand as consistently comfortable; I can recommend these shoes without hesitation.

Love the shoe - This is a very comfortable shoe, but could use a bit more arch support. It’s good looking, too.

Great Shoe - Its a SoftWalk so its a good shoe, however, it is not as FANTASTIC as the Softwalk SantaCruz.

Comfortable Shoe- For such a light weight shoe, they are extremely comfortable. I like the bubble-like cushion inside the shoe. It feels like you are walking on clouds.

Worked for me - This is the only shoe I've tried recently that didn't ravage my sensitive, very high-arched, and variously injured feet. One tiny blister where the leather meets the foot on top, but really nothing to complain about. They're not special looking, but they fit the bill with jeans or other pants.

lots of comfort - VERY comfortable shoe; however, it looks much like a slipper--very casual shoe.

Comfy! Very, very comfy shoes. With terribly problem feet, these shoes were a big relief to find that they fit and are comfortable. Could be a bit more stylish, but at this point, comfort is critical. Thanks Soft Walk!

Nice shoe - This is a very comfortable shoe, but was wider than I thought it was going to be.

Pleased as punch - I love doing business with your company. I have only used or worn these shoes once. It has been snowing for 4 weeks, and I have been in boots or slippers. I can't wait to wear them on vacation to Las Vegas.

As comfy as they look - My review title says it all. I bought these for comfort and they definately are all they claim to be. I could walk kilometers in these shoes. I have had many compliments on how they look on me too.

San Mateo - This is the coolest looking clog! I love the unique design of suede/leather combo. And they are very soft. However I have to have arch suppport and it' just isn't in this shoe. Sadly I had to return this one.

Shoe is very cute, but the toe box was large for a AA and the shoe was also a bit longer than it should have been. Comfortable inside, but don't know if it would have stayed soft. Am returning as didn't fit.

I had such high hopes for this clog! Such good reviews! Received them the day after I ordered and they squeaked. Loudly! I thought it was maybe because I was on a hardwood floor but the same thing on carpet. They did look good on but I want to wear them on an overseas trip and don't want to squeak while walking through museums and churches.

The styling and color are great, and if they fit me I think they would be wonderfully comfortable. I ordered them in anticipation of taking them on a fall 2010 trip involving a fair amount of walking, but they must run small. Size 9 always fits me perfectly, but my feet hang over the back of these. I should have exchanged them for a larger size immediately, but thought wearing them inside the house for a while would stretch them sufficiently. Unfortunately, that has not happened, so I am stuck with not-cheap shoes I cannot wear. My recommendation to others would be to order them a half size larger than usual.

Well made shoe. Quality leather(upper). True to size. I would not recommend to anyone needing arch support. My feet and ankles become tired after walking in these for a short period of time.

Not a good shoe for long distance walking - I ordered this shoe to take to Paris, knowing that we would be doing 5-8 miles of walking a day. I was good for normal wear, but when worn for long distances all day, it rubbed blisters on the tops of my toes.

Plastic-y and strange - I ordered these and am sending them back. (Great policy, Zappos!) They're slippery and plastic-y when worn with socks and sticky and plastic-y when worn with bare feet. The egg crate sole is very squashy over a hard bed, making me bottom-out with every step. I can't help but think that when that padding is worn out, the shoes will be hard and uncomfortable. They look a little too much like bedroom slippers on my feet.

The San Mateo is very attractive and initially comfortable, but not good for any amount of long walking. The support is no better than a house slipper. After wearing it around the mall for just one hour there was a lot of discomfort just under the toes area where the pressure is greatest (like any flip-flop). The very same evening I developed calluses in that area. Tsk, tsk. . . . I hoped it would be different the next wearing but it was not.

Buy wider! This is a beautiful shoe and I was stupid not to really try it before discarding the box. SoftWalks always fit great but these are way too narrow for me. Too bad because I know I'll never wear them.

I can't wear it. The shoe is ok. It was not as comfortable as others I have had. It also caused foot cramps. I wore it for a week and the cramps got worse, culminating in the worst cramps I have ever experienced. (I take medicine for it) I quit wearing them and the cramps subsided.
