San Mateo - I must return these. I like everything about them except that I cannot keep them on. I am sure it is because I have very flat feet. Sorry.

Tremendously comfortable. Like walking on pillows.

Great pillows to stand on all day. I love how cushiony this sole is to stand in all day but I have some beginning bunions and they don't work for standing or walking in all day. I've purchased 3 pairs, 2 in my regular size 8 and 1 in an 8.5. Neither is kinder to my bunions. I am a salon owner and stylist and have had tons of compliments, I have highly recommended them to everyone. I did order other styles and they did not work for me.

Wonderful Shoe! I ordered this shoe for comfort. I have fibromyalgia and a great deal of pain in my feet! I thought, "I'll sacrifice looks for comfort". Not so with this shoe. It is so cute! The picture really does not do it justice. I ordered a W and my feet are not super wide. I have a high instep and it accomodates perfectly. If you want a comfortable shoe, give this one a try! A plug for Zappos here...the shipping is free, and the return is free, try any shoe out on the carpet for a while and send it back if you don't love them. There is nothing to lose in the deal. Zappos customer service is outstanding!!

I love this shoe! I have the black nubuck/leather combination which has nice detailing which make my size 10's look petite and have a very cushy and flexible sole. They are very lightweight for travel and they go thru security at the airport. I walk all over Manhattan in them. They have very good style for a comfort shoe.

The Best! Finally a mule that that has a slim profile and is so comfortable that it can be worn all day!! I am ordering my second pair.

Soothe My Aching Feet - These truly are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. They were comfortable even when standing for hours on a concrete floor, and when walking for hours in a mall.

Great for a double-wide foot! I got these in red and love them! It's a beautiful red and the suede-leather combo is so stylish. I wear a 9WW or 9.5WW and got the 9.5WW based on customer reviews. The extra half-size is great for this shoe style, even though I'm exchanging a 9.5WW SoftWalk sandal for a 9WW. I believe you'll find SoftWalks are soooooo comfortable for the bottom of your feet!

Comfy! I am a neurosurgery resident and am on my feet for hours and hours. These shoes are great! They have reduced my nightly foot pain significantly.

Heavenly! Wonderful shoes! I have bunions and once these were slipped on, I sighed and smiled! I purchased them in Wide and it's perfect. Unlike the other reviewers, I had to go up a 1/2 size; the length was a bit short and my heels hit the back lips of the shoes. I could have unusual feet, though. With Zappo's, it's so easy to order a replacement pair. Shopping should always be this easy and efficient!

I Love this shoe - This shoe is very comfortable, true to size and does not make your foot look like it is three sizes bigger than it is. I am very happy with my purchase. I wear a narrow shoe and it is very hard for me to find in-syle shoes. Thank you for making it possible!!

They feel like walking on pillows! They feel great, even after you have had them on for a very long time! I have health problems with my feet. So when I can just put on a shoe and walk away not having to worry about sores, etc. then I know that I am wearing a shoe made by SOFT WALK!

Comfort and style - Softwalks have become my favorite, both in style and comfort. I have a long narrow foot, and they have great styles to accomodate my shoe size. I have arthritis of the spine and I am on my feet alot, and these are comfortable to wear all day.

Very comfortable, it runs a bit wide for my narrow foot but with an insert it is perfect. I would purchase again as an everyday comfortable casual shoe.

These shoes are very comfortable. I did find that they run narrow and I needed to get a wide to fit my feet. Good for walking and being on my feet most of the day.

This is my second pair of San Mateo. My first pair was in Cognac and I loved them so much, I immediately bought a pair in black. I like to have "easy on, easy off" shoes that look good because I take my shoes off when I enter the house and also when driving to preserve the heels. I found these to be smaller than regular size. I usually wear a size 8, ordered these in 8.5, and could probably have used a 9. They are just a touch short on my right heel. Not enough of a problem for me to stop wearing them!

SoftWalk is the right name for these shoes! I liked them so much that I bought a second pair in Black. The inside is extremely cushioned. Take note that these run a little on the small side. I normally take an 8 medium, but measured my feet and ordered 8.5 to be safe. I maybe could have ordered size 9, but was afraid that they’d be too large.

Comfy, but clunky - At first blush, this mule seemed to be what I needed: lightweight, comfortable and secure. However, after wearing them for a while, my little toe started feeling very pinched. Perhaps this will pass with more break-in time. My biggest issue is feeling unbalanced--the heel feels higher than I was expecting.

Love these shoes, but... They have some sort of lining in them--like plastic which make them a bit too snug for my wonky toes. I like the way they look--very classy, and they are well made, but I wasn't expecting the plastic--I think this is the soft-step part of the shoe! However, if I didn't have a bad couple of toes, these would be wonderfully comfortable, even if they are very expensive.

SoftWalks - They are very comfortable only they squeak. So I wear them when I'm going to the mall or someplace noisy so you don't hear them.

Very comfortable. Looks nice, but makes funny squishing noises when you walk because of the soft cushion insole.
