I LOVE converse slips. However, this particular pair was awful. I've purchased two other converse slips and many other converse (they are my shoe of choice), they all usually last years. I bought this to replace my last pair (that I got two and a half years earlier) back in mid-October. They started falling apart in December. By the end of February they looked AWFUL and I need to replace them. They also never really looked black, more navy. I'd recommend buying the more expensive pair. They should hopefully last you longer then 3 months.

I bought these and they were super adorable when they came. I ordered a half size smaller than I normally wear after reading reviews (I also own other Converse so I knew they ran big) but I couldn't get my foot in them! Literally, I never was able to get my foot into the shoe...it seemed like it should fit, I put my foot into the shoe but I was unable to get the shoe up over my heel. Maybe it's just my feet. I wear a 6 normally so it's not like I have huge feet. I love the look but don't think I am able to wear this style. I will have to return them.

If I hadn't already thrown away the packaging I'd be returning these immediately. Converse used to be a real quality shoe, and I have no idea what happened. The rubber soles used to be thick and tough, but these are flimsy and so soft they almost hurt to walk in. Forget about arch support. These shoes are really of horrible quality and were a total waste of money.

Cheaply constructed, uncomfortable, way overpriced, not worth it. I purchased two pair of these, so my issue was not a one-off bad pair. I previously purchased this exact same model shoe from the retail store and it was far superior quality and that shoe I highly recommend. The disparity in quality from store to online product made me question the authenticity of the online version.

These shoes are more than a full size too big. I couldn't take advantage of Zappos free shipping to send them back. Wouldn't buy Converse again.

I have a thin and narrow foot. I usually wear an 8 or an 8 1/2. For this shoe, ordered the 8. It was way too much shoe, way too big both length and width. I thought about trying a 7 but I'm almost positive this style [no laces] would still be too wide. Too discouraging when women try to wear shoes based on and made for men's feet. They will never really fit. Other Converse shoes are do-able, but not these. Nike fits a woman's foot, especially the narrower heel aspect, but they are more functional than fashionable like these cute Converse. I did find another model Converse, with laces, that do fit well enough.

Honestly, these shoes look like clown shoes. Not attractive at all. Don\'t buy them. Zappos is amazing though.

Beware, no support! I bought these because I wanted a fun everyday shoe. I got a lot of compliments, but then I noticed that whenever I wore them I was having shooting pains going up the ligaments around my ankles. They have no support! My friend has a black pair and she's experiencing the same problem. I had to stop wearing them and am now sporting an ankle brace because the pain is so bad. Sucks.

A cool idea that doesn't make the grade - These shoes are stiff, designed to be worn without socks, but end up being very uncomfortable and the materials are abrasive.

Not true to size - These shoes are super cute, but I had to buy them 2 sizes smaller and they still don't fit that great. I wouldn't recommend them.
