I ordered a size 9, but sent them back for a size 8.5. I wish I had got a size 8 as they still slip off my heel. Even with inserts, they are still huge and absolutely no arch support. Very disappointed.

This shoe is very shallow at the vamp. The shoe is a little narrow, but what really caused a problem for me was the lack of space for my high arch. I can wear lace-up Converse without a problem, but these are going back.

These are cute but ridiculously sized. Started with womens 9 which I am always exactly sized to; went to 8.5, returned. The 8 felt bigger than the 8.5!

I loved the look of these shoes, however they are extremely narrow with no support and therefore uncomfortable. I can't imagine walking around in these all day.

Ordered one size smaller than my usual size --- as I typically do with Chuck Taylors. Was not a fan of this shoe. Found them to be a bit uncomfortable (tight on the top of my foot where the laces would be) and actually prefer the normal look with laces. I think they look a lot cuter in the picture than they do on. Returning.

Not a fan of this shoe. Ordered a size down as recommended in reviews, and they fit. I bought them because they had a nice simple design, not too busy, as a casual shoe. They are super long and narrow and made my feet look like clown feet. The material wasn't cut well, it looked like it would fray and get dirty very quickly. The material is a thin canvas and the heel rubbed uncomfortably. Not worth the price, they are going back.

I ordered these shoes because I love my Chucks, but at 7 months pregnant I can no longer tie the laces. However, these are not going to work! You can't tell from the picture, but the heel back is soft/crushable. I imagine this helps prevent heel blisters, but the shoe was impossible to get on! I just cannot get the back over my heel. I would need a shoehorn, but that just seems silly. So back they go. Otherwise, they seems like they would have been perfect.

For those who don't know, Slip means no shoelaces. The size also runs large. I ordered 11 and it was 1/2" larger than my other size 11 shoes.

I usually go with the basic black in this style its my wardrobe staple. However I thought I would switch it up this time and go with this natural color. I hated it, didn't look good with my dark skinny jeans, and the white sole just didn't go with the natural canvas color. I had to send it back.

I really wanted to love these shoes. I wore them everywhere but then I decided to take them with me to Montreal as walking shoes around the city. By the end of the first full day of walking, I had blisters on my toes and my feet were aching like they had never ached before. I ended up tossing these shoes the minute I got home because there was no way I would put them on my feet again.

These are pretty much what you'd expect. The major issue I have with these is that the black pair that I ordered is more of a navy blue. There doesn't appear to be any black color similar to the classic Chucks.

The shoe looks better in the picture. It truly looked big and clunky in person. It doesn't have any arch support or insole padding. The men's 11 didn't translate to a women's 13 with regards to width. It ran way too wide and since there are no laces there was no way to correct that.

Do not buy. Converse can be forgiven for not following any shoe sizing guidelines used elsewhere in the entire known universe, but if they don't stay on your foot, what's the point? Yes, they are slips. Yes, they should be easily slipped on and off. But not with one step. If the elastic was extended towards the ankle more, this design would work. But it doesn't.

I loved the look and fit of these sneakers. Not having to tie them was a real plus. Problem is, they are terribly made. I think in China. Raw edges, constant threads shedding all over the top and sides, limp, cheap canvas. I know they're inexpensive, but the craftsmanship is totally unacceptable. The natural color fit fine and full but the gray was way too small.

What I like - I love the look of the shoe. But for me they were too narrow and the shoe size was a bit bigger. I can't say they were that comfortable but they were so darling, if they had fit I would have kept them.

Literally fell apart - So when these shoes arrived, they had a lot of strings hanging out, but I thought it was just the type of fabric...and it IS fabric, not really canvas. Nevertheless I liked the color contrast with the gray and the orange lettering. But these shoes FELL APART IN LESS THAN 5 MONTHS. I have a 1-inch hole along the seam under the eyelets right where the bend in my foot is. Maybe my feet were too wide, but these are not sturdy. I'd recommend suede Pumas - they are MUCH more durable.

Falls apart - I love the look of these Converses. The only problem is that they fall apart at the seams. I thought maybe I got a faulty pair, so I purchased another. The same thing happened! I would recommend only buying these if they are on sale; otherwise it is a waste of money.

Not well made - These shoes fray terribly along every edge and seam. I've trimmed them with nail scissors so many times. They are scratchy on the inside, so I can't wear them without low socks. The shoe actually scrapped my foot raw when I didn't wear socks. A real disappointment.

Not my style - These look good online and I like the way some people look in them, they just weren't for me. Too flat, stiff, and long.

Converse All Star Slip - I was initially thrilled with these shoes. After wearing them, they are coming apart at the bend when you walk. The rubber is coming away from the canvas. I have had these shoes since 3/7/07 I am very disappointed in the workmanship in the converse shoe. I won't be purchasing anymore.

Great shoe- wore out really fast - I loved this sneaker for the whole 3 months that it looked good on me- then it just fell apart! Oh well.

Blister city - Yup they look cute, but ouch... This sneaker is definitely made for a narrow foot. I wore the sneakers one time and that was it. Although I would love to... I can't return them because I wore them outside.

Converse All Star Slip on - These shoes look great, but they don't hold up well at all. The stitching is coming loose and I've only worn them - at the most - 4 times. They fit, so that's not the problem. They're just poorly made. As for Zappos, their service is great, as always. It's just too bad that you can't return them after you find a problem like this But I'll still shop Zappos, because as I said, the service is great and this is the only shoe I've had such a problem with. All of my other shoes have been 5 star purchases.

It is specified very clearly that men should order a full size down, but that women do not need to. I found this to be false, women also need to order at least a full size down. I ordered my normal size 6 and these shoes were MUCH too large.

I'm so "torn" about this one. I have this shoe in every color that they've offered and I've worn them all equal amounts of time. That being said, my brown pair totally ripped on me. I was walking and then realized my right foot felt different. The rubber had completely ripped and pulled apart the cloth from the shoe. I always wear the appropriate shoe for the right occasion(these shoes are just for casual wear-short walks-a low key BBQ...yada yada yada). Clearly this was a quality issue with this particular shoe, but it's something that should not happen with this brand. I'd likely recommend this brand and particular design in the future, but I'd also tell them about the tear and that they might want to bring an extra pair of shoes along. Now I have to toss out a relatively new pair of shoes.
