Cool shoe, but hard to put on! I bought an all black version of this shoe for my ten year old daughter. She loves them, but the elastic in the top of the shoe is quite snug which makes putting these on a pain. As a result, there are no problems with them falling off. She has small feet. If your feet are large, forget it.

Cool but not well constructed - These have been regular use since I bought them because I use them as my boat shoes. Unfortunately, the very first time I washed them (on gentle cycle) one of the fabric strips containing the eyelets almost came off, rendering them pretty useless...

Great look, but cheap construction - These are very comfortable and the fit is nice. However, they are coming apart after only light use. I have worn them only a handful of times and only to go across the street to the store and around my apartment building. The sneaker is fraying very badly and the tongue is becoming quite loose as well.

Love the look, but they don't last - I have two pairs of these slip ons and about 6 pairs of regular Chuck Ox's. Unlike what others have said my half size larger than normal fits better for me. I love the look of these shoes and I get comments all the time about them and the lack of laces. However like other's have mentioned, the quality is not up to Converse standard and they split from the rubber where your feet bend.

The shoe is fine except the material keeps fraying.

I think converse shoes run long and narrow, even though I've returned them once already for a half size smaller, I may have to do it again, so I haven't actually worn them as I think they are still too long

Real loose - The review said to go a half size smaller and I did but I think maybe a full size smaller would have been better.

Slip-on verses - Cool looking but the soles hurt your feet and it hurts to run in them…

Alternachick loves em! The first time I saw these Julia Roberts was wearing them and I was like, how on earth does she keep her shoes on with no laces! Little did I know they were made that way! I found these in a discount dept. store in Brooklyn for 25 bucks and said why not? They are so, so cute. I bought them in red. I had an original Chucks in black during my alternative rock teen years in the 90's. No support of course, they feel like shoes, not sneaks, probably why I gave my old ones away. But, they definitely make you feel cool a la Kurt Cobain. I'm a 7 1/2 and the 6 1/2 fit, so order ONE WHOLE SIZE DOWN! Not half a size as mentioned.

Cute but not so comfy - The shoes look fantastic, but they're taking a while to break in. There are lots of rough places on the inside of the shoe that rub the tops of my feet. And the heels just slip right off when I walk. Probably because I have narrow feet, and this is really a men's shoe. I'm sure I'll get more accustomed to them as I break them in.

Slip on converse - This particular converse was disappointing. The edges of the material were frayed...just not what we expected…will not buy this style again...

Chucky T's slip-ons - The shoe is very comfortable. They go on and off very easily. I like the look of the shoes with jeans or with shorts. I've had them about 2 weeks now, worn them about 6 times some seams are fraying giving them the worn in look rather quickly. I took the advice to order 1 size smaller and the shoes fit almost perfectly.

The cutting edge - Definitely trendy and cute, but the seams fray quite a bit over time. Mine are looking very disheveled and ragged over the main seams on either side of the laces. For a more polished and lasting look I like the originals better.

They're cute, but they look better with capris - I wear my black Chuck Taylors with laces most of the time, so I bought these because I thought they would be a sure bet; plus, I love slip on shoes. Once I got them, I decided that I don't like the way they look with jeans, but they are cute with capris. I would definitely stick to the original style to wear with long pants.

I haven't worn these too much yet and they may prove to be the perfect summer slip on. But, they feel very big and I already have large feet so they look very clunky on me. Order a size smaller than your usual Converse size. I assumed that without the laces they'd have to make them tighter, but they don't. As with all Converse, maybe mine just need to be worn in a bit before they look cool.

My feet must hate me! These shoes look good. But they are simply murder on my feet, blisters and calluses are going to expected if worn for a long time. You should order two sizes down from what you normally wear.

An alright shoe - Not so great for walking in the city, especially without socks! The inside fabric, near the shoelace hole, scrapes the foot, and after walking for 10 minutes gets to be painful.

They don't really slip on or fit to good- I ordered these in 6 and 7 and my feet are regular width, the 6's fit but took forever to slip on, the 7's slip on easier but are too big. I was really looking for something that was comfortable and super easy to slip into for running errands and such because I’m lazy, these are not that shoe, for the time it took me to slip into the right size I could have laced up knee high boots. They do look cool though. I’m returning them.

Seams started coming undone! I was so excited to find these tennis shoes in my size at Zappo's(there are sold out everywhere)! Starting wearing them, and after 2 days the metal from the hole where the lasses usually go started cutting into my foot and the seams started to unravel.

Nice shoes. I bought these for my husband, as a summer/shorts shoe. I've been dying to toss those boat shoes of his feet. These are nice and stylish, and he's gotten quite a few comments.

Converse All Star - Shoes look good but run a bit large if you are buying for a woman. For example, if you are a women's size 8, get 2.5 sizes smaller in men's (that is, get the 5 1/2 men).

Wear Socks - Very cute looking shoe - but you may miss the laces when you feel its loose fit. Socks help to fill some of the space, and the elastic is well-intended - but much looser on the foot than expected.

Not good. This shoe does not have any cushion. None. The inside of the shoe is a logo laden piece of cloth glued into the bottom rubber sole. I had a similar pair of these cons, but it did not have the Orange print. They were very comfortable. So I thought these were the exact shoe. Again, it is identical except for the Orange print. I had to take the removable insert from my old shoe and put it in this one. I'm not the kind of person to return things so I just kept them. But I think people should know this downside before they order. Great looking shoe, but not comfortable at all.

I should have taken the reviews that said to order a full size smaller than my normal size more to heart. I wear a size 7 and almost never have sizing issues. Ordered 6.5 based on the reviews -- and just returned for a size 6. Hoping for better luck with that because it's a very cute shoe and seems like it will be very comfy, from my brief test-drive.
