I was really mixed on this. The shoe itself wasn't uncomfortable, but also wasn't comfortable. They fit good, by issue is with the padding and shock absorption. The sole and base feels very rigid, almost as hard as walking on a concrete floor. These shoes desperately need some cushioned inserts to make them just right.

I love the Onitsuka Tiger brand! I started out with the 66, which is super stylish, but it's like wearing flip flops. I've recently had some foot injuries and the support just isn't there on the 66 style. Enter this shoe!! While it still doesn't have the support of an ugly tennis shoe, it's so close that I can work this shoe into my rotation. I love the simplistic throwback style, and I really wish other brands would take note. I wear sneakers 90% of the time, and I want them to be good looking and comfortable. This shoe fits the bill!

I wear either 10.5 or 11 depending on the brand and the 10.5 feels just about perfect. Good heel thickness for comfort when on your feet for a few hours

This is my 3rd pair of Tigers, always this model. (Ultimate 81?). Super comfortable and much more breathable than my Newbalance's or Vans. My first pair were used to walk all over Italy for 3 weeks on my honeymoon. They probably don't offer the same support as a proper walking or running shoe, but I had no problems doing this, and they're much more stylish IMHO. To me, they work well as a low cut shoe with jeans or shorts, but I'm no sneaker head or style paragon. There's a good chance I'll keep buying these in various colors as I need shoes. My only gripe is that the color combo is often out of stock in my size at Zappos.

Lightweight and comfortable shoe that takes me back to the 80s. Back before shoe companies tried to build all sorts of technology to "help" people run like arch supports, thick midwoles, and heavy carbon rubber outsoles for "better traction." They made shoes heavier and more expensive but didn't change running performance or injuries. This is a great basic running shoe but for me it's my casual wear every day shoe. Packs well for traveling, I can stand for hours on these without much trouble, or walk all day comfortably. For me they are half size smaller than my running shoes and a half size larger than my dress shoes. Great throwback design that is super comfortable. Lasts me about 18 mos-2 years of regular wear, and I keep buying the same design because they just work. Go ahead and get them.

I bought these in 2014, and they lasted a solid 2 years of heavy use. After retiring them to farm work, they eventually disintegrated. No shoe has fit my foot better or looked better on me in my opinion. I have very narrow feet, and these shoes are quite narrow. Because of the fit they made me very stealthy, so I called them my ninja shoes. Mama said they was my magic shoes. Well balls, now I feel the need to order a new pair.

Perfect commuting shoe for me! I do not wear my heels on the metro to work; I am one of those people that wear comfortable shoes with their office attire on the commute. But I don't want to look too ridiculous, so I prefer low profile shoes like these that are comfortable and blend in with my dress trousers. Sometimes I even wear the during the day at the office! Will absolutely purchase again.

I love the Ultimate 81. Bought my previous pair 3 years ago and have just about worn 'em out. I reordered the same size and ... yikes! They run just a wee bit smaller. Previously I was in a 6.5 men's/8 women's that was snug to start but stretched and relaxed to fit my foot perfectly within a few wears. The new pair I ordered is just a smidge shorter and narrower than my old pair and I don't think they'd stretch nearly enough. So I re-ordered in a 7 men's/8.5 women's and they fit great. And the bright blue color is soooo much fun!

Bought these for my brother. He loves them. He wore them out a bit since he ran the marathon in them, but his feet were thankful for that!

Smart looking kicks, firm fit. The arch support is higher than expected, took a bit to get used to. Otherwise, cool looking and comfortable shoes.

Love the classic look this shoe gives off, got these in black/gray. They go with any outfit and there is moderate arch support. I don't have flat feet, but I have a very small arch. I use these to work in retail sometimes (long periods of standing or walking), walk in the neighborhood or commuting.

My husband loves these shoes. They are nice enough to wear to his casual office. They don't offer a lot of support and they only last him about a year, but he wears them almost every day.

Super cute and great support. I wear an 8 to 8.5 in women's and the 7's fit perfect.

I normally wear a size 8.5 in women's shoes but I would certainly need a 9 in these.

Bought these shoes for my husband and he loves them! We live in a city and get around mostly by walking. He finds them super comfortable to wear on a day-to-day basis.

Love this show. Had it previously in another color and it laster forever. Can't wait to wear this pair just as much. They are so light. Great packing shoe for a trip. In Asics running shoes I wear an 8, in these I wear a 7.5
