Yes it is worth the money - I LOVE this shoe, it is funtional as a water shoe, a camping shoe, and stylish enough as a city shoe. A sandal I can ride my bike in and not squash my toes or worry that it will get scuffed. Also--it fits my very very wide feet great! which is rare. I have a hard time finding sandals because of my wide small feet but these fit like they were made for me.

Not for high insteps - I ordered a size bigger, and the length was fine, but the straps bound my foot too tightly across the top of my foot. The bungee cord on top is adjustable, but was still not long enough for comfort. I wore this for amphibious hiking, and was annoyed that tiny stones got lodged under my foot. Also when worn for extended periods the shoe begins to stink. I'm sure this shoe is great for a lot of people, but it was not for me. A more adjustable shoe will serve me better.

Keen Newport H2 shoes are just okay - For the price of this shoe, and from other feedback, I felt I should be walking on air in this shoe. I was disappointed. It's only sort of comfortable- usually my feet hurt after I wear them for any length of time- and yes, I do have the right size. I would not purchase this shoe again for this price- or any price.

Nice shoe runs small - I was looking for a nice walking sandal to keep my feet cool while getting exercise. The style of this sandal is exactly what I was looking for. I ordered a half size larger than I usually take and I couldn't even fit my foot all the way in! The ankle strap was not elastic enough to allow me to fit my foot inside, and I think this is also in part to a low shoe box. If the instep would have been a bit higher, it might have worked. I'll try something else in this line to see if I'll have better luck.

Nice but not worth the price - My husband and I both have the H2's. They make our feet stink, no matter what we do. They ARE very easy to keep clean; I have the light blue, and throw them in the wash. Good for rafting, not for the lake with small rocks... They do not hold up climbing on hills, as pieces of the sole fell off my husband’s shoe. Mine are fine except for the foot odor issue... I think, for the money, a shoe like this should hold up better.

Hip and cool - My kids have them, and I decided to buy myself a pair, too. I think they look really hip and funky. I love the closed-toe design as it helps prevent accidents. The color I chose is just eye-catching! The size is not even listed as "wide," but my really wide feet were able to slide in without a problem! The only thing I, and my kids, find uncomfortable with these is that our feet feel so warm inside them! In spite of the gaps in the straps, it feels like my feet couldn't breathe!

Newports could be keener - I had been eyeing these shoes for awhile, but because of the price, I held off. Since summer started here in Alaska, I could no longer resist and ordered from Zappos. I spend all summer near the water-at the beach and on the river. My feet also sweat a lot, so thought these would be perfect, especially with the microbe technology to eliminate odor. They are very comfortable shoes, but if you are looking for a beach shoe, I'd buy something with an open toe. Little pebbles get stuck in the shoe making it uncomfortable and annoying to take off to shake out. Especially if you are exercising. They do keep my feet cool and as of yet, I haven't noticed any odor like I usually do with other sandals. However, I think they are overpriced.

Uncomfortable toes? Just received my Keens ... I'm very disappointed and puzzled. Has anyone else experienced discomfort with the bump in the inside of the toe guard? There's a bump that presses just a little against my big toe, and I can see that there's no way I could live with this! Is this abnormal? I just read pages of reviews and don't see any mention of it anywhere. (I did order a half size larger, which was a good thing. The fit is otherwise very good). Can anyone shed some light on this situation???

A for Looks, C for comfort - Although the arch is better than many, it is not as good as some (like Birkenstocks). The material for the sole, and the non-leather uppers, may be great for wet weather, but not great for soft feet. I walked in them only a few hours before I started getting blisters on both feet. And, the pair that I received had an uncomfortable elevation on one of the shoes, near where one of the straps inserted in the sole. The other shoe did not have the same bump, so it must have been an imperfection. This will happen, I guess. I just didn't have time to return them because I had to leave the next day on camping trip for which I got them.

Looks Great, But.... I love the look of these Keen's, and had heard how comfortable they were, so I couldn't wait to put them on when they arrived. Slipped them on, walked around.... immediately felt a little uncomfortable rise (bump) in the sole on one foot only. Because I was leaving for a camping trip the next day, I decided not to return them, and hoped that that bump would flatten with use. The next day, at campsite, I walked around in them for several hours. I had to change out of them due to the blisters that were forming on both my feet (I RARELY get blisters). So: I'm not getting any more of the H2's, even though their waterproof quality is a plus, and they sure look good on. Comfort is everything to me. If you've got tough skin on your feet, you might be able to get away with these not causing you any trouble.

Not so good this time Keen - I have several pairs of Keen shoes, this is by far the least comfortable and has the least arch support. It fits too tight over the toes even when tie is loose - would not buy another pair of these

What is not to love about this shoes?? Right out of the box I went for a 2 hours walk with a friend. It is the most comfortable shoe. I did not get any blisters even though I was not wearing any socks. I will take them with me went we are going hicking in the Adirondack this summer. I am planning on buying a pair of boots for this winter.

Mixed bag. These shoes are very comfortable, but I found they were made my feet too hot...they're just not "sandal-y" enough for my needs. The footbed is very comfortable though...so much so that I plan on ordering a pair of their shoes. They're not pretty shoes, but they're funky, which is why I gave them four stars in the look department. Incidentally, my husband has these shoes (the men's version, obviously) and he adores them. I have some other Keen shoes and I love them. These sandals just weren't for me.

Don't Buy for Boating - I love these sandals. They're comfortable, and I wore them all summer. But one of the reasons I bought them was to wear them when boating. Contrary to what the description says, they WILL leave black marks all over your boat. I was a little disappointed since I paid more than I would have normally, and can't use them for something they are designed for.

These shoes are very comfortable -- the toe bumper is great, and they have great support, though they are a little hotter than I expected. But they are ugly. (Someone described them as 'clown shoes'.) The front of the shoe is so wide; if you have narrow feet and/or skinny legs, they look pretty strange.

Clown feet - I loved the idea of this shoe...water, terrain, etc. But when I put them on, I felt like I had clown shoes on. The protective toe is a great idea, but it makes the front of the shoe much wider than the other parts, esp if you have narrow feet like I do. I guess I'll look for another style or brand.

Some of the best shoes I've gotten in a LONG time! Our fashion Diva at work turned me on to these beauties, and am I ever grateful to her! The felt great from the time I put them on and I have more people asking me about them. I'm even going to get another couple pairs I like them so much!! I have perwinkle now and can't wait to get the navy ones. They fit great, feel great and look great! I have horses and usually all I wear are boots or shoes for riding, but even these babies fit into the sturrips and off we went! Looking good!

Cute, but built as a water sandal - I like the look of these (had to get red), but they are not quite as comfortable as you'd think, based on their appearance. The rubber sole and webbed sandal are built to survive water sports and not for comfort. My feet start to feel clammy if the weather is warm and the webbing is a bit scratchy. They are still new, so wearing in may help. Sizing is also a challenge, as the 7 I got is on the small side. Bigger may have helped, but I decided to stick with this size, as other water sandals I've had tended to stretch out with repeated wearing.

There is a ridge right behind the toes that felt odd. Then it inflamed. I'm back to my old shoes trying to recover. I hope I can return them but I'm worried about what to choose next. Everything else about this shoe is fantastic. I love how protected my toes are and the room for my toes to breath. They felt the best with a thin pair of socks. The shape is a bit clownish but it fits my personality. I received many compliments. They are very stable for my pronating feet. But, I had to cancel a hike due to the damage done to my feet from these shoes.

Very different - This shoe is one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever tried on. However, the look is so different, which isn't a bad thing sometimes but in the case of this shoe it is. The toe of the shoe is so so wide compared to the tapering toward the heel it looks bizarre on. I do not like how it looks at all and would not wear these out. I have two other pairs of Keen shoes and like the comfort and look of those. These are just not balanced in how they look on. I will be returning them.

I love the look, but the front comes up too high into my ankle and it is hard to shake pebbles out when walking...foot is held a little too snugly for a sandal, and you can't adjust...

These shoes were nothing like I expected. I usually love Keens, but these were terrible! The shoes have a ridge in them, which I think is for when the sandal gets wet so your foot doesn't slide around in the sandal. I think it's supposed to sit between your toes and the ball of your foot. My toes sat on this ridge and it made my toes fall asleep. I would think I'd gotten the wrong size except I got half a size bigger than I normally wear and the shoes felt uncomfortably tight. If I'd gotten a bigger size I think the ridge would have been even worse. I hate to say it, but I didn't like anything about these shoes. The top of the sandal is made of a combination of a rubber like fabric and a regular string weave fabric. The plastic like fabric is fine, but the regular cloth weave fabric, I believe, will start to smell after awhile. However, Zappos was great.
