Yeah! Great fit, comfortable, versatile walking shoe/toe protection with a little air flow which is just what I wanted... the sole, though waterproof, is a little sweaty, and they don't look so cute with socks, but otherwise good hearty travelin' shoes.

Newport h20's-good antigua's-better - These are my 4th pair of Keen's. I have never worn a shoe of this style, i.e. Teva-ish. I bought these for a 2 week trip to the big island of Hawaii. They had the same arch support & fit as all of my other Keens. I did not find them difficult to get on or off (btw, I have an extrremely FLAT foot, and average width). There was no break in period, like all of my other Keens, just out of the box and onto my happy feet. I even like they way they look, and I have always been very anti Teva style. The reflective bits were cool, and useful when walking around at night. My foot didn't get excessively sweaty or stinky, as some others had mentioned. My big issue with these was SAND! This is not a good beach shoe. Walking across hot sand while wearing these was miserable to say the least! The sand just got trapped in the front of the shoe, under, around, on top of my foot. And there was a lot of sand in there, it was hot, painful sand, and it added a few pounds to each shoe, very difficult to walk in. Needles to say the next day I went to the beach wearing my Keen antiguas, and wore those for the remainder of my trip! The antiguas were a better choice for Hawaii, see my review on those. Wish I had saved my money on the Newports.

One keen shoe - I love these shoes. There was a little bit of pinky toe pain when I first got them, but otherwise they are very comfortable, functional, and cute. I wear them everywhere. I love being able to hose off my shoes at the end of the day. They also dry quickly and are comfortable when wet. These shoes rock.

Overall a very comfy shoe, though the closed toe made my feet feel hotter than I expected.

the perfect play shoes - I love my Keens. They're sturdy, comfortable and cute. I got the raspberry red color and am surprised that after all the wear they're still nice and bright. My only complaints are that they don't dry as fast as I expected, unless you have the opportunity to leave them outside in the sun, and they make my feet a bit hot. Still, I typically opt for them over my Teva's because of the toe protection while I'm playing outdoors and the fashion factor if I'm just out for a window shopping stroll.

Overall good - My complaint is that this shoe does not come in narrow. The medium width, which I can often get by wearing in other shoes, seems extra wide to me. You cannot cinch up the toe box enough for narrow feet. Other people that I know admired the shoes, but they also have narrow feet.

These shoes are the most comfortable pair of shoes that I have ever owned. The look great and will be perfect for hiking. My only complaint is that I expected them breath better than tennis shoes, more like sandals. My feet are always very warm in them. Otherwise they are great. I will definitely get another pair.

Great shoe, a bit hot for a sandal - I really do love this sport sandal, great look, comfortable, lots of compliments. The one small problem is that my feet feel strangely hot and sweaty in these, given that they're sandals. This makes me worried because I've been wearing them in a rather chilly spring in New England; I'm concerned that by the summer they might just be too hot. I think it's the closed toe that contributes to this.

Not for me! I didn't keep this Keen, but of the the three I tried, it was the one I thought I'd like best. It was a bit disappointing that it came in last, especially since it was the least expensive! I had Zappos send me Newport H2, Taos and Boulder so I could compare them and pick my favorite. I was after an alternative to tennis shoes for the summer, something I could wear without socks that would breathe like a sandal and wear like an athletic shoe, plus get wet without it being a big deal. All 3 models are waterproof, according to a label stitched to the straps, so that was good news. I rejected Newport for looks as well as fit. You can't really tell from the pictures, but the proportions looked a bit like a clown shoe, all wide and round in the toe. Maybe it is worse to look down and see this as the wearer, and maybe other people wouldn't notice. But I felt like I was flapping around in a silly shoe. In practical terms the fit was also a problem for me. Not the footbed, which felt great, and led me to keep the most expensive of the three models I tried (Taos) but the straps. The sandal just does not want to slip on. The back strap is a struggle to get on over the heel, even with the handy loop thingy. The strap also tends to curl up instead of staying flat, and has to be smoothed out carefully.

Keen Newport H2 - I bought My Newport H2s because I am going to Germany this summer, and I wanted a sandal-type shoe, with good soles. I've been wearing these shoes a lot around town--work, store, walking dog. I love them. Very comfortable. I usually need an orthotic in my shoes--don't need one here--my feet don't hurt at all. One complaint--they make me feet rather hot and sometimes, sweaty.

Makes a difference Wet or Dry - My husband and I both bought these for a recent trip to Hawaii. They arrived super quick and performed excellently - when dry! They were super comfy right out of the box and on extended hikes. I wouldn't necessarily wear these for hiking over sand or small pebble beaches, as the smaller grains/rocks tend to slip in and get stuck in the toe box. Also, for extreme conditions, you might want to consider a shoe with more side protection; when hiking over jagged lava, I got a small gash on my little toe through the open straps. (Incidentally, on the same hike, passerbys inquired after our great-looking footwear.) They also transitioned NICELY into water - they make great water shoes (again, they tend to accumulate sand in the toe box when at the beach) and provided great toe stubbing protection against reef rocks. Where they didn't excel was transitioning from water BACK to dry hiking. The material, when wet, chaffed and gave me blisters on both insteps. Overall - they make a great pair of water shoes and dry hikers, but if you plan to transition from land to water and back, and do significant hiking afterwards, you might want to consider a different shoe (or just bring along something to change into). I also have 2 pairs of the salomon tech amphibs - compared to the keens, they aren't as comfortable overall, but they function slightly better as "all-elements" shoes - (1) they are a closed system and are better at keeping out small debris and (2) I found that they chafed less when worn hiking after being submerged in water.

Perfect Summer shoe - I bought these shoes to take on my honeymoon--and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I'd been looking for a shoe that would be more rugged than a flip flop but that would allow my foot to breathe. I also wanted a shoe that had good support for my flat feet. This shoe was just the ticket. I had read reviews before I bought and the one thing I agreed with was that you want to buy your shoes a half size larger than you normally would. I'm sure to buy more Keen shoes in the future.

Klutzy turns cute - Wide toe box makes it extremely comfortable. It has good cushioning but I would like a little more lift in the heel. It is clunky looking but the red color gives it some pizzaz. Great travel shoe when you plan to do a lot of walking.

Great shoes, do agree with the most common comments - I LOVE my Keens. In preparation for a three week- long backpacking trip, I have worn them nearly every day since they arrived. The first few days I had a small blister on my left heel, (the bottom, not the back) but it has now calloused over and the shoes are very comfortable. I do find that they make your feet sweat (more because they are rubber and your sweat doesn't have anywhere to soak into), but it's nothing that keeps me from wearing them. Also, I do agree with some comments I've seen that it's difficult to get stuff out of them if it gets into your shoe, such as twigs or grit. Overall though, it's a great option to flip flops or sneakers if you like to wear either of those a great deal. I do get lots of comments on them based on appearance too. I'd recommend them!

Feel great, wear great, but stink. I have several pairs of Keens. My co-workers have several pairs. They are not "cute." Who cares, they are so very comfortable. But, they stink. Sun does not work. Powder is a temporary fix. Who wants to wear socks with sandals. I do love zappos.com.

Trendy Watershoes - I like these shoes so far. They are really cute and comfortable and everyone who sees them wants them. They have, unfortunately, not yet had a chance to go in the water. The only disagreeable things I can say about them are: 1) they make your feet sweat somewhat, and 2) on the beach, they fill up with sand and it is hard to get it out without taking them off. Hopefully I will take them river walking soon (intended use) and see how that goes.

Great shoes! I ordered these shoes because a coworker had them. They suit our business rather well. We are in Hawaii working a t.v. show...lots of long hours on our feet and hot and humid weather. These shoes meet the safety requirements for us to wear a closed toe and yet allow us to have the freedom of a sandle with the support of a tennis shoe. Most of the office has purchased them! We love them!!!

Sneaker sandal - These shoes are great when you want the comfort and feel of a sneaker but not the weight. I have received many compliments on them from total strangers noticing them. My only criticism is that my feet sometimes sweat in them which I did not expect given the openeness of the shoe.

Keens Newport H2 - While the foot bed itself is very comfortable, the stitching on the back of the heel strap rubs and causes great discomfort. The shoe sizes also seem to run small.

Smaller than expected, but comfortable. I have returned these sandals once for size and chose not to return them for a second time for an even larger size. To me, I would say these run a full size smaller than what I normally wear. I have had to wear a 10 on occasion before, but I really feel that a 10.5 would feel more comfortable to me. If you are hesitating, ORDER UP--you will not be sorry! On this particular shoe you can't expect them to stretch out for you as they aren't made of leather. They seem real comfy so far, with the only comment being that when you wear them in the water and sand gets into the toe area it gets trapped and is difficult to remove. I guess that's the price you pay for having a closed, more protective toe on the shoe. BTW, son returned back from Europe and loved the leather version of this shoe for all of his travels.

Ordered these on the advice of Zappos reviews. On dry land, they have been very comfy, even at work. I can't wait to try them out on a wet outing and see how they hold up. Now I'm thinking about ordering the Keen Mary Jane. Take everyone's advice, order 1/2 size larger than normal size.

Keen Newport H2 - I love my new Newport H2 shoes. They are so comfortable, my husband asked if I was trying to break them in and I said NO! I just love to wear them because they are so comfortable. The only problem I have is how long it takes them to dry. I bought my husband a pair and his has a leather-like material and they dry much quicker than mine. Other than that there great.

Wonderful shoe - Except for a slight rubbing of my little toe on the left side, this shoe exceeded all my expectations and I would not hesitate to buy it again. In fact, I shall order a pair for my daughter. (The rubbing is gone now.)
