Excellent boot right out of the box. Virtually no break in time, and now wears like a second skin. Really sharp looking, and works great as a motorcycle boot (which is my application). Only detraction is it runs about a 1/2 size large, so I put in an insole with snugged it up. Bye a half size smaller. Zappos was great also and came in three days.

I absolutely love these boots! They did feel a little stiff but I adjusted the belts and within half a day of walking inside, they feel like I have had them for years! They feel and look like quality. I appreciate Zappos' great customer service and very speedy delivery!

Excellent boot. I wear these when I ride to work and need to look half-way presentable through the day. I am a little disappointed in the arch support, but I hope to find a insert that fits.

Beautiful and fit perfectly right out of the box. I run 10.5 and the Frye 10.5 size was true to my foot. These are comfortable right off the bat and need no breaking-in. These look like they could last forever, very sturdily constructed. My only problem is deciding whether to wear my jeans tucked in or out!

I ordered these for my husband's birthday, but dropped the ball and didn't place the order until the day before, so I had to get overnight shipping. When it didn't look like they would make it here on time (from the UPS site), I started a chat with an agent. So helpful! He went so far above and beyond that Zappos is now my go-to shopping destination. Anyway, the boots arrived on time, and my husband said they're the most comfortable pair he's ever had (and that includes the 10 other pairs in the closet). Yay Zappos and Frye!

Nice Boots - I really like the feel and the comfort of these boots. They still need to be broken in. I really like the way the boot looks.

These boots are amazing. Literally no break in time needed. I put them on straight out of the box and haven't had a single blister. They are super comfortable and I wear them all the time. From the looks of the quality materials these are the last boots I'm going to need to for quite a while.

I have wide feet so these boots aren't ideal but pretty darn nice all the same. It would be nice if Frye offered a wide.

Once again Zappos amazing service. The boots were a little uncomfortable for about two days. Now they are great I wear them all the time. They do pull my socks down. You can dress up or down with them. Great boots great way to buy them.

These boots are the classic Frye Engineer boots.\r\n\r\nIf you have to read reviews on these boots, I suggest you go to Walmart of Penny\'s. Because, you should not be buying these classics. It\'s people like you the ruin the look for the rest of us.\r\n\r\n

I can’t say more about the Zappos customer service!! The best I ever dealt with! I ordered a pair of Frye boots but didn't like the sole. Called Zappos, no questions asked and they sent me a UPS return sticker to ship the boot back for free! I re-ordered this pair of Frye Engineer 12R which they shipped overnight for free. The Frye 12R fit me perfectly. Since this is the first time I ordered a pair of footwear on line, I was worried that it would not fit well or look good. With Zappos free delivery and free exchange, everything works great! The boot is well made and it fits well. Great for walking around or motorcycling (I have to wait till warmer weather...in a few months!) In all, it was a great experience and I highly recommend anyone to check out Zappos before they order from other websites!!! Thanks for the wonderful service.

Great boots. Like most quality boots, they take a little time to break in, but well worth it. Heavy duty, but cute enough to wear with a dress or skirt. They keep my feet surprisingly warm on cold days and totally dry like rain boots. I'm not sure what the deal is over at Zappos, but every time I order something, it gets sent to me at supersonic speed. I ordered these boots at 4 pm and they were at my office by 1 pm the next day on standard ground shipping! I think they upgraded me to overnight for free. Amazing.

Great set of kicks - The inner sole is in fact nicely cushioned and the over-all fit seems true to the description. I was concerned the width wouldn't fit well being I have a wide (E) foot but it fit perfectly. One thing that disappointed me was the upper buckle strap stitching failed which left the strap dangling after less than one week. I didn't force or pull anything for that to happen. Must have been a manufacturing error. Really bummed me out!! I used some leather glue to glue it back in place which I'm sure won't hold if I ever pull on it. I doubt I ever will have to so I'll just live with it. Over-all I really love the boot and highly recommend it. I'm a home improvements renovations/restoration contractor and wear the boots every day at work.

My wife purchased these for me as a birthday gift. I normally wear a 9 - 9.5, the 9 fit great. Order your normal shoe size and you'll be happy.

My Last Pair Lasted Me TEN YEARS!!!! I bought these bad boys again because my last pair lasted for 10 years and are the most comfortable boots I own. The only reason I replaced them is my foot grew a half-size and I ended up needing to replace all my shoes. Otherwise, they were perfect and this new pair will be perfect for another 10!

Great boot - This is a very comfortable and durable boot. They tend to fit large (I usually wear a 13, so I ordered a 13 but they are way too big). I have had mine for a year and half and they show no signs of wearing down. Great for motorcycling - rode them to Sturgis and back and they survived the Wyoming heat and torrential rain.

Best Boot Ever! I bought a pair of these 8 years ago and just this last summer I had to have them resoled. The comfort, looks and durability is just great. If these ever break down on me, I definitely would not hesitate on buying another pair. They are great for dress, casual and motorcycle driving.

Best choice I have made in a while - I have only praise for these boots and the service I received getting them. Everything was handled quickly, honestly and in a very open and friendly manner. The boots are awesome. They are a little hard to get on, which was helped with some break in, although I have only had them for a little less than a month. I expect that will improve over time. The fit, once the boots are on, is awesome. After only a few weeks they are already breaking in nicely and feel a lot like slippers. They look as good or better than any other boot I have seen. Buy them, you won't be disappointed.

Exceeds expectations! I had never ordered footwear online before. Not only would I have had to drive around all day looking for this boot, I might not have even found them. Frye has always been a great product and Zappos ships them to me Fedex overnite at no additional charge! I will be getting all my footwear from Zappos from now on.

classy - I use this as a motorcycle boot; been wearing them for about a year. The heel is getting a bit of wear, and at first there was a bit of stitching along the top of the inside that chafed, but I melted it with a lighter and haven't had problems since. Once the boots broke in, they were quite comfortable. And they're very unpretentiously stylish.
