I normally love Franco Sarto shoes and own many pairs, different styles. I ordered my normal size 7 in these and couldn't even get my foot in. Something was just off with the opening of the shoe. Regardless of sizing issues, I wouldn't have kept these. They're very boxy and strange looking in real life. I had to return them.

Wide is not wide! I couldn't even get this shoe on my foot. These shoes are very plain and clunky looking.

Very nice looking shoe, but not even close to a wide width. They are also very tight across the top. I was very bummed, as I truly hoped I could finally find a nice loafer for a wide foot.

I could not even get my foot all the way into the shoe. My foot is a little extra wide but this was ridiculously small.

These shoes are adorable, but were so tight I could barely get them on. Disappointing.

Very comfortable but the wide square toe really does make them look like orthopedic shoes.

Shoe looked nice, but was tight through the wide part of the foot, even though I ordered wide. Back of shoe was very stiff and I could foresee blisters from the back rubbing against my ankles.

These are great walking shoes or for slacks at work. I have ordered these before in 8N. This time that was too wide. I even looked inside to see if they accidentally sent a M. I am returning them as they were too wide.

I don't understand why the reviews for these shoes are so high. They look good and the materials seem solid, but they are very uncomfortable. They also feel clunky and heavy (and not in a comfortable way). I can tolerate them sitting down, but I wouldn't be able to walk far in them. Returning.

These were not the same Franco Sarto shoes I purchased several years ago. These were made from a rigid leather, not like the soft, form fitting shoes I used to have. I am very disappointed. These shoes are made in China, my older pair was made in Italy. I am disappointed with the change.

NARROW! I wear 71/2 W or WW and can usually wear 8M with no problem. I ordered an 8W and was still too narrow! This is a beautiful design, but quality suffers every time I order a new pair! Long time buyer of this shoe, and about 10 yrs. there was a drastic downgrade in shoe leather and sole materials for the worse! Now they are so narrow that I cannot even get them a size too big! Your paying for style, and a quality name brand that has lost its credibility!

Looks like good quality leather. However, with bunion and hammertoe problems my 9W (normally I wear a 9.5 or 10) was not wide enough. It would be just to painful on my bunion and too expensive on my pocket to chance that the shoes would possibly stretch to a tolerable fit. I really liked this shoe style and heel. Maybe the width will increase in the future.

I decided to buy these because of the many positive reviews they have. Unfortunately,when they came in today and I tried to put them on, I could not get half of my foot inside the shoe. I have wide feet, and I ordered the W size, but to be honest here, they are not wide at all. I'm returning them.

These shoes did not work for me. The wide width was not wide enough for my feet and there was absolutely no cushion in the ball of the foot area.

I do not understand all of the positive reviews. I love the style, but unfortunately, it is too uncomfortable for me. It is stiff. I wore it around the house for half the day to see if I could wear them in, really hoping they would soften up because I love how it looks, but they did not. They were too stiff and uncomfortable. I don't think I got a fluke one because I actually had this pair already which I had bought from a consignment store. I loved the style, but they would make my feet sore. Thinking that that pair was a fluke, especially with all of the positive reviews here, I ordered a new pair on Zappos, really hopeful that they would be comfortable. Unfortunately, way too stiff and hurt my feet.

Although I really liked the look of the shoe, I could tell right away that the fit on my heel wasn't going to work. The toes had enough room, but the heel felt like it would slip enough to be uncomfortable in a short amount of time. Just wearing them around the house was enough to ensure they would go back. Too bad because the look was perfect.

I have worn this style for more than 10 years and have gone through several pairs. When I received the last pair they looked slightly different. I tried to wear them but they were not the same sizing as in the past so they will go back. I will rate the shoes on this last pair because I feel they have changed the sizing and quality of construction but I did not feel that way about this style prior. I may try a smaller size but I am concerned that the quality has changed. I have tried for several years to find other shoes as comfortable as these because I have not been able to get them in navy for quite some time. I have had no luck finding something else and I am disappointed in Franco Sarto.

I had this exact style for 10 years and loved this shoe. However, the leather used now does not compare to my old pair. Foundation, heel etc feel solid and wonderful but the leather feels flimsy and ran small.

This shoe looks like a good basic loafer for office wear, but they are too small. I usually wear a 10W, which is what I ordered, but these are tight. My left foot is a little bigger and I couldn't even get that one on. I need a shoe that's got a squarish toe-box like this one, because my feet are wide even at the toes, but these are a little short and much too narrow. Also I have a high arch and at the top of the foot the shoes were also tight and I think that's why I couldn't get the left one on. I will see if they have it in the next size and/or width up. Oh well! They are the perfect color to match my brown work slacks. The materials are nice. I put down moderate arch support but I couldn't really tell since they didn't fit properly. I've gotten very spoiled with my Keens which always seem to run wide enough in the regular width but I needed something more professional looking.

The back of this shoe was not narrow enough for my heel. I tried 4 heel grippers and still could not get it to fit. The front of the shoe fit fine.

I ordered this in a wide and it was so narrow that my foot couldn't fit in at all. I've never had this happen with a wide width shoe. I don't have bunions, just wide feet. It looked very stylish and would have been great for this teacher, but it just didn't fit.

The design is good, but the workmanship slipped. The leather on top was on a diagonal and across the top was very tight. Very difficult to have them on for very long. I have worn Franco Sarto Bocca's for years so was thrilled I could get them from you. Nordstroms sent me to you. Not the same shoes, though. Darn it.

I have tried on Franco Sarto shoes in the past and knew that the regular was too narrow for me. I usually run somewhere in between a regular and a wide. I was excited to find that Zappos carried them in a wide, because the department stores generally don't. I ordered these in a 10 wide and, while the length was perfect, they were so tight that they were cutting off my circulation! I was truly disappointed because they looked really nice on and felt like they were made really well. Sadly, I had to return them.

This shoe creases at the top as soon as you put it on and when you walk it puckers out. However, it was comfortable.

I had always been a fan of Franco Sarto shoes having bought them for years because they seem to be wide enough for my feet and also have raised sides which are good for people who have flat fee since it holds the feet in the shoe. However, they seem to be slipping in quality as my last pair did not even last 1.5 years before tearing at the front by the seam. This happened during a trip where i had no other shoes with me. In the past the shoes would last for many years and that is a lot since I am very hard on my shoes. Because of the poor quality on the shoes I decided to look for others. Hopefully they will fix the quality problems they are having, but until then I would advise others to hold off on buying them.
