I tried to exchange and they want an upcharge of $100.. these arent wide foot friendly nor big calf friendly. Customer service also ghosts.

They are beautiful, but I am surprised at how clunky and uncomfortable they are. The foot bed is hard and there is a big step off where the heel is. They also run big. Im always a size 8 or EU 38 and these run a half size big. Im going to have to put insoles in both for comfort and to help fill out the extra space for size. They are stunning and Im sure Ill wear them lots, but for this price I expected a much higher end boot.

OMG these boots are made in heaven! I was a little worried about the calf size, but they fit perfectly! My calves are 14.5 in the widest part. They are true to size. I usually wear size 8, and size 8 fits perfectly. Im in love. I ordered them at 3am when I got an email that they were back in stock. The next morning they were out of stock again.

I wanted to love these boots! I was in between 9 and 9.5 I ended up purchasing the Black 9.5. They were slightly big but narrow in the foot, my heel would lift when i walked around in them. I'm scared that the size 9 would be too tight and uncomfortable. Also, just fyi these boots got some WEIGHT to them and when i walk it the boots hit my calf and make a clapping sound. I did end up returning the boots. I think i am going to wait until the brown colors get restock since the black didn't suit my style. Probably will size down to the 9 next time.

Took me three tries to get the right size but it was worth it . For me I'm usually always a size 7 and I needed a 6.5 in these boots , theyre a bit big in the calf but thats okay because I love the clean simple but unique style of these boots . Im definitely a boot girl growing up on a horse ranch , so Im very picky and maybe even snobby when it comes to quality leather for saddles & boots . The quality leather with the gorgeous simple stitching & timeless style - these definitely check all the boxes for me . Highly recommended

Terrible experience, ordered a month ago and have been waiting, was told it was taking so long because they were waiting on stock and now they have just completely cancelled my order after telling me all of that. I was so excited for these and was perfectly fine waiting

HORRIBLE customer service. I bought a size 8.5 and had to stay up until midnight 3 nights in a row to try and exchange them for a size 8. I FINALLY got the size 8 accepted for the exchange and they sold the pair of boots I secured for my exchange! They sent me an email saying I could be refunded but I would have to pay $12. This is unacceptable. I used a 1 time coupon when I purchased these boots so their solution is that I pay $12, lose my coupon, and do not get the boots I stayed up for trying so hard to obtain. This was going to be my 1st pair of Frye boots. So disappointed.

The boots were very nice but the top cuff was way too tight, cant wear them. Printed out return label and dropped off at UPS today. Called Frye and an associate said you are coming out with same boot wider cuff. Will maybe try them. Also didnt like that you charge to return, $12.00. Isnt customer friendly. I own quite a few Frye boots but normally purchase in a a store. A little disappointed with ordering straight from Frye.

Been waiting to get these boots for a while now and they were a let down. Run large on the foot (about a half size to one full size, socks depending) and the calves are too tight! So tight I couldnt pull the boot all the way up, and I dont consider myself to have big calves. Huge bummer

Absolutely gorgeous boot and color!! After reading the reviews, I chose to size down 1/2 a size from my normal size 8 to a 7 1/2 and they fit perfectly!! I feel these are a great investment and I know I will enjoy them for years to come!

Really gorgeous classic boot, but if you have larger calves they are tough to spend $500 on cause they wont fit properly. You could perhaps stretch them at a cobbler but for the cost I was hoping to not have to do that. Ps. I have huge calves

I will never buy again from this company. I never write reviews but this experience has been other worldly bad. I bought these boots over 1 month ago. Upon receiving them I realized my normal size (size 8) was way too big. When I went to begin an exchange order, they were out of size 7.5 so I had to get back on the waitlist and secure a size to begin my exchange transaction. I shipped my boots out within 2 days. Within 4 days my boots had been received and I was notified via email. Since then Frye has been radio silent. No updates on my exchange and I have contacted several times with no response. I have tried to live chat (which claims they answer within a couple minutes) and have received no answer for over 24 hours. I have emailed (several days ago and today) 6 times now with no response. I have called twice and asked to leave my number and my inquiry, with no response. Essentially at this point they have stolen over $500 from me. I do not write these but wow, I have never experienced something like this. DO NOT buy from Frye

I absolutely love these. I am wearing them as I write this. I think they run a little big. I am 8.5-9 and the 8.5 needs an insole to prevent heel slippage. They smell great, look great and go with everything. Today I have them on with a dress and I have received multiple compliments.

Would love this boot, but does not fit my calves, too tight.

I ordered these boots over 2 1/2 weeks ago after reading reviews, deciding to size up a 1/2 size. They shipped quick, I will give Frye one extra star for the fast shipping on the original boot. Unfortunately they were huge on me and I needed to return for a smaller size. I reached out to customer service only to leave a voicemail and get a call back a whole 24 hours later. They informed me that the size I needed was out of stock but I could sign up for an email notifying me when they came back in stock and that I had 30 days to exchange. I did this and became so excited when my correct size went back in stock only a few days later. When receiving the email I IMEDIATELY went through the exchange process for the correct boot size. Over a week had passed after the exchange was "approved" with no shipping confirmation or whereabouts of the new boots. I reached out to customer service again to have to wait 24 hours for a call back AGAIN only to find out that my requested boot size was "no longer in stock, with no date of when they would be." I really do not understand how a company can approve an exchange but then not inform the customer until they reach out that their item is out of stock. I really want my boots so I am holding out and not accepting a refund at the moment but GET IT TOGETHER FRYE, this is unacceptable.

Came used and not worth the money.
