Sore and tired feet! I have spent the last 42 years working in print shops with concrete floors. Needless to say, I developed sore and tired feet standing 8 hours a day. I tried high quality cross trainers, work boots, running shoes and added all kinds of inserts, including doctor prescribed prosthetics. Without question, the Spira wave spring is the best shoe I have found as a quality work shoe.

This a great shoe that lives up to its reputation - I have had this shoe for a year and I am just thrilled with them. I wish they would consider making a dress shoe for those of us on our feet all day. Thanks. Rev. Lake

Comfort, comfort, comfort from the first! The only problem was, even though I ordered the shoe a half size larger, it was not enough. They seem to run like a Nike- a whole size smaller. Normally I wear a 9.5, tried a 10, still to tight, re-ordered a 10.5 and they feel great. Now I can walk all day and my feet feel great at the end of the day. Prior to this shoe, I wore Reeboks DMX, this shoe has a more stable sole, and it doesn’t roll from side to side due to the twin springs in the front. My wife loves hers too! Love Zappos, Great customer Service!!!!

Excellent shoes- Overall, very comfortable, definitely noticed less impact on very hard floors after having been on my feet for several hours. I wish the style could be a bit more contemporary- also would like some dress shoes as well. Another nice option would be a clog-type shoe

The best I have tried! These Spira shoes are the best I have tried! I have plantar facitis and get injections in my heel for foot pain. The Spira's are great! Long hours on my feet have caused damage, but the shoes are a big help!

Excellent support. I have artificial hips and the cushioning is fantastic. Overall, fit good. However, I suggest going up 1/2 size in length.

Marathon, here we come! My twin sister & I are running a marathon together to celebrate our 50th birthday in January. I ran a marathon 10 years ago and was complaining to my sister about the pain I had during the training and the run itself. She had just received your shoes a few weeks earlier, and kept telling me that I needed to get a pair and try them out. In fact, she offered to pay for them if I did not immediately have the funds. I ordered the shoes and received them just before I was to do a 14 mile run. All coaches and shoe manufacturers consistently stress the importance of breaking in a pair of shoes before going on long runs. I, of course, decided to run with them immediately. Once I completed the run, and after calling my sister and thanking her for the referral, I ordered another pair which I am using in conjunction with the 1st!

Very comfortable shoes - 1st rate shoes

Results - The shoes have made a world of difference in being able to walk on the concrete floors all day. The only thing that I've found is that the wide widths are not enough for anyone needing a triple E shoe.I have had to really work to break them in and strech them out.

I love these shoes - My need was for a shoe that would cushion each step. This shoe does it. With a special spring in the heel and two in the forefoot. Walking is more than wonderful. The "pounding" of each step that I felt before is gone. The cushioning immediately stopped a chronic pain problem I had.

Lifesavers!! I am a 69 year old man with wide feet, weight 210 lbs, high arches, sore feet, and prostheses in my lower spine. It hurts to walk let alone run. In my part of the country it's almost impossible to find the correct shoe for my conditions. Wide cushioning alone is a major problem. It seems as if these shoes may allow me to resume my conditioning walking. They fit well, have excellent cushioning on heel strike clear through stride and appear well made. On top of all the above, Zappos upgraded, at no cost to me, the delivery time. In other words, their usual great service. I have bought from several online vendors, usually because of price or availability, but none match Zappos service.

My husband loves his Spira shoe. He stands on his feet all day long on cement floors and that shoe really helps.

Relief for arthritis - I am a truck driver who delivers newspapers. I am up and down stairs and the truck all night long. These really helped with my arthritis as they seem to cushion the knees.

I am a corrections officer in a medium sized detention facility. I spend 12 hours a day on my feet and have spent thousands of dollars over the past 15 years on shoes, inserts, arch supports, custom orthotics, etc. Despite all of this, I still had chronic back, knee and foot pain. I received my Spira shoes and wore them "out of the box" with no break in period. Within three days, I no longer had the pain in my back, knees, and feet!!! My feet feel great at the end of the day and my energy level has increased. I can't stop telling everyone I know about these great shoes!! Fat man loves his new shoes! I'm thrilled with my Spira Classic Leather shoes. I needed a shoe with a good heel cushioning since I have developed plantar fasciitis. If I'd gotten these shoes earlier, I might never have gotten P.F. Walking is so much more comfortable. The fit is perfect even for my extra wide feet. Zappos has the fastest service imaginable. I'll never have to battle my way through shoe stores again. Zappos is the place for me.

Most comfortable shoe - This is the most comfortable sneaker I have ever owned.

Size is smaller - Shoe looks good. So far has helped some stress on back when walking. Needed 1/2 size larger and wider. Usually take 9-1/2 m, needed 10 w.

Spira Classic Leather review - The shoe is what I expected in a walking shoe. I was so impressed by the comfort of the platform that I also ordered the running version. Very well pleased with this shoe.

Very comfortable shoe - This is one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever tried. I am very heavy and it is hard for me to find good, comfortable shoes. This shoe is a little expensive, but it is a good shoe.

I believe this shoe disappeared from the market for a while and if so, I/we are so glad to see it back! This is the only shoe my "bad back husband" can wear as a dress shoe as the WaveSpring technology gives him the mobility and resilience he needs to function like a normal person. He tried the WaveWalkers when he could not find this shoe, but they are such a heavy shoe, they are not a suitable solution for him. Tell your friends with bad backs and walking issues to try Spira footwear -- the shoes may make a big, positive improvement in their mobility.

This is the first Spira brand shoe I have owned. I will not know for awhile if the shoe holds up well on the left where I have an arch problem. I have inserted a prescription arch support in the shoes.

First pair had a squeaky heel. Returned. 2nd pair fine. Nice lady on the phone sent me a thank-you card, hand written mind you. I hope to meet a Zappo in person one day.

I can't believe what great service and fast delivery I received from my first order with Zappos! The customer service agent was pleasant, helpful and efficient. I suffer from plantar fasciitis and these Spira shoes are one of the few shoes that I can wear comfortably.
