First of all I love the lace system on these shoes. I have had a least 5 pairs of these but the quality has continued to go downhill with each pair. One pair was returned because it squeaked so loudly that I could not wear them. Solomon did swap them out without a problem, but it should have never happened. Two pairs have had the lace eyelets tear out making the shoe unusable. The last pair had the heel lining wear out causing a blister. That pair was the same size as always but pinched in the toe and slipped in the heel. I am finally switching brands and found I can order similar laces from a company called Lack Laces. Shoes should last more than a few months.

I ordered the wide (EE) shoe and it felt on my feet like a medium (D), so back it went. Too much pressure on the ball of my foot from the sides.

Salomon makes some of the most stylish quality made athletic shoes I can find. But, they have two major problems... 1) They are ALL extremely narrow, and 2) they are not shaped for the human foot. Who's foot/toes comes to an extremely narrow centered point?!

This was one of 6 pairs of shoes I ordered. I was by far the best fitting and best looking, but the lacing system is one of the stupidest things I have ever seen on a product. Clearly they are designed for a short product life so you buy shoes more often. Returning them.

I loved these shoes at first. I do a lot of walking and they are lightweight and have a nice fit. But after about a month they started to break down and began hurting my feet and knees to the point I cannot even wear them for short periods of time. For occasional use the may be good but if you plan on wearing them daily stay away! For $150.00 i expect a shoe that holds up better than these have. btw this was my second pair but just chalked the first pair up to my walking. second pair I paid better attention to on how fast the broke down. Shoe still looks new but not worth wearing due to material in sole breaking down. I have returned this pair to Zappos. Purchased 8 months ago but shoes have sat in closet for 5 of those months and I happen to see the shoe box and zappos box and decided to try there 365 day warranty out. I had forgot I could send them back.

If you are looking for a trail shoe that is a 2E from toe box to heel, do not buy this shoe. The toe box is 2E, but that is it. It looked like my foot was going to bust out of the shoe. There wasn't even enough speed lace because the shoe was so narrow. I was excited to try out my first pair of Salomon shoes, but I guess that won't happen.

These shoes brook twice and I had to return them both times. I only wore them for a month and the holders for the laces broke within a month. waste of money.
