Outdoor Endurance Tester - I've used the GCS Pro for many 100 mile races over some of the worst terrain available. These shoes have outlasted others, moved more water, held on slippery rocks and managed the thick mud with high performance. Highly recommended! I run with strong form and to my forefoot.

Best combination of all - I bought these shoes for the look, comfort, style, innovation, performance, technology... They have it all and I love them. I can’t find any other athletic shoes in this world with equal perfection.

Great shoe! These shoes fit and feel great! The speed laces are very nice. I have had lots of running shoes, but these are the ones I will continue to buy over and over! But that's just my $0.02!

Great shoes for the rugged terrain in Afghanistan. We train hiking in the hills with rucks and the shoes feel great in the hills though they are taking a beating and will not get the true mileage for these shoes. I plan on replacing earlier that anticipated, but it’s worth it due to fit and comfort.

GCS (truly) Pro - Decent looking, no holds barred comfort, except the arch support could be a little better, and handles great both on the road and trail.

Super Star - Great looking and feeling footwear! So light you don't even feel them, great support for your feet no matter what your sport!

Quality, Comfort, MY GOD I LOVE THESE SHOES! Just purchased my 2nd pair of these. YOU WILL LOVE THEM! Great shoe if you want one you can summer hike with, as well as jog in. 400 miles in Alaska, 300 in the Smokies, 80 in Arizona, and DID I MENTION THE DISNEY MARATHON?!? If these shoes could mother my child, I would insert an Al Green CD in a flash! And what about ZAPPOS? I order my shoes at 8:30pm. I wake up to check my order status and it says "delivered." ARE YOU SERIOUS?? THEY WERE ALREADY AT MY DOOR! I LOVE YOU ZAPPOS and GO GATORS!

Best trail shoes around - I hike the half dome and after 10 hours my feet felt like butter. These shoes fit like a glove and everyone who hikes or mtn bikes should get a pair.

Salomon best company ever!! I received my shoes super fast!!! Within 30 hours of when I placed my order!!!! This shoe is perfect for triathletes like myself or anyone who enjoys the outdoors and likes to walk/run!!! Zappos is the only place to get my shoes!!! Period!!!

Best trail shoes around - I took these shoes up to Yosemite and hiked the half doom. My feet were on cruise control all day. It took all the beating for a full 8 hrs. Great shoe Salomon.

BEST TRAIL SHOE AVAILABLE - I train almost exclusively on trails and I have to say that this is by far and away the best shoe I have ever worn although when I bought them I was not so sure as they do take a little breaking in. After wearing these for a long run my legs felt really fresh and not battered at all.

A little flashy looking but super comfy (gold version) I love their lacing system, great ankle support too. Cannot wear sockless, but your feet won't feel all tired out after a whole day in them...

GCS Pro - Worth the money. I shaved about 3 seconds off my mile time as compared to Adidas A3, without any pain in the knees or shins. Good looking too.

Best Shoe... hands down- I am a sneaker/trail-shoe junkie (I currently have 70 pair... just got rid of a few to make room for a second pair of Salomon GCS Pro), and these are by far my favorite pair. Comfort, look all make them top notch.

Outstanding - Great traction. Great cushioning with low profile - will not twist ankle. Same shoe design as Adidas shoes - can't remember if Adidas owns Salomon or vice versa. Would buy another pair.

Salomon GCS Pro - These Salomon shoes are the most comfortable, attractive athletic shoes I have ever bought. The shock absorption system and large heel provide stability as well as foot protection. These features are especially important to me since I had surgery a couple of years ago to repair a broken heel bone. You can loosen or tighten the laces by pushing a latch release and pulling it up or down. The loop can be tucked neatly under a Velcro flap. You won't have to worry about laces coming untied to trip over. I'm sure you will get positive comments about the appearance of these shoes just as I have. I like doing business with Zappos because of the excellent service. A trait that is becoming more rare these days.

Recommended - Best off-trail sneaker that I have ever owned. True to size; excellent support; cannot beat the lacing system - will never go back to regular laces for my sneakers. I just hope that these laces will be durable. Recommended. Cheers.

Salomon's Rock! I have use Salomon ski/snowboard products for years and figured now was a good time to try their shoes. First off, these shoes are flat out cool looking. I have the black and orange color. I am a big fan of the pull chord lace system. I have them on my snowboard boots and it makes adjusting very simple and they do not loosen up like traditional laces. Shoes are very easy to get on and off and feel great. I think that if you have a wide foot they might cause some problems. My foot is more on the narrow side so they fit me perfectly. All in all I am very happy with these shoes. They are a bit pricey but for a shoe that I wear everyday to workout in, it was well worth the money. Very comfortable and stylish shoe. Also gets points because they are so unique - I haven't seen anyone else wearing them yet.

My new favorite shoe brand - I ordered a couple of different pairs of Salomon shoes. They all out rock. I ordered them more to be a daily shoe that looks stylish but is functional. I also ordered the Revo Amphib. They're great for traveling because I can look moderately professional in nice jeans and don't need to pack running shoes for overnights.

Salomons gcs pro shoes - I have to say that the gcs pro is maybe the best shoe that I have. It has a lot of cushion in the heel, light weight, fast to lace up and after a couple of miles you forget you have them on they are so comfortable. Definitely a 5 star

Good shoes - I find the look of the shoe a little gaudy but apart from that I am enjoying them. They are a perfect fit (11.5) I like how the design and materials of these shoes fit the form of my foot. The cushioning is excellent on the heel. They are good on rough terrain. I didn't think I would like the shoelace style but I do. Overall I would think about buying another pair of these shoes. Wearability is something I will be looking for as I wear these shoes longer.
