These shoes are great! Just got these yesterday, so I haven't had a chance to run in them yet. Last night after working a 12 hour shift, my feet were pretty sore, mainly my heel. I came home and put these on before going out and all the pain went away! They're that comfortable! That suprised me that a shoe can make that big of a difference! Nice and airy too. They look and feel good! Definitely worth the money!

Best training shoe I have ever owned. This shoe is by far the best training shoe I have ever owned. Overall fit and finish is excellent. Light, comfortable and built to last for many miles. I particularly like the lacing system. Very easy to use and NEVER comes loose, regardless of terrain encountered. Moreover the looks of the shoe have garnered many compliments. As long as Salomon keeps this shoe in their line I will continue to buy it. This shoe is that good.

Great shoe - I bought these shoes for my husband's birthday. He loved them. He said they were the most comfortable pair he's had. I got them a half size larger than his regular shoe size because of the reviews, and they were right.

Amazing - These shoes have done wonders for me. The most comfortable running shoe I've had in years. The breathability is amazing and you really can feel the air moving through the shoe as you run. Recommend these shoes for anyone who enjoys running whether it is out on the trail or around the neighborhood. Great buy!

Salomon's GCS Pro - My 1 hour treadmill work was a very painful experience after 90 mins of free weights until I discovered the Salomon's GCS Pro. I can honestly say it’s very gentle on your feet and attractive too.

Awesome - This is my second pair of Salomon sneaker I've owned. My first pair which I purchased 2 years ago and still wear to this day is still looks great and more importantly is still as comfortable as the day I bought them (unlike nike, adidas, or newbalance were they wear out after a couple of months). Salomon knows how to make really comfortable footwear. Big ups to zappos for there selections. You can find color combinations you can't find anywhere else.

All around perfection - I have been an avid wearer of New Balance trail shoes but have not been impressed with their latest styles. The price on these was a turn off at first but I decided to go ahead and buy them. Good decision. Everything about these shoes is the best. Perfect fit, good looks, high quality. I am going to buy another pair before heading to Maui in September. I have not done any running in them as I stick to true running shoes for that but hiking has been great in these shoes. Buy now!

Very Good Shoe - Very comfortable and supportive. No break in required. Only complaint is the front half of the shoe is a little thin (the sole). You can feel sharp rocks get to the balls of your feet. But overall a great trail running shoe.

Perfect Sports Shoes - Best athletic shoes I've ever owned! Extremely comfortable - lots of toe box room - I usually have trouble with my big toe rubbing on the inside of the shoe - but not with these - they're a perfect fit - great for outdoor or indoor workouts - Very best I've ever owned!

X-trainer - This is the second pair of Salomon athletic shoes I have owned. I have used a pair of the gore text XA Pro's extensively for the past couple of years and I can't seem to destroy them no matter how hard I try. The GCS Pro seems to be every bit as good in terms of design, functionality and construction. I do pretty much everything in them as they afford me the luxury of being relatively light weight yet sturdy. I prefer not to wear hiking boots unless absolutely necessary and the GCS Pro's allow me to do most of my outdoor activities without the need for additional support that heavier hiking boots offer. These shoes fit great, and while not quite as "plush" as the gore tex XA Pro's, provide a comfortable fit. On the whole, a fantastic shoe!

These shoes are incredible! I am a larger runner (6'4", 220lbs.) and these are the best trail shoes I have ever worn. They give great support on the downhills. The only complaint is they are a little heavier than my usual trail shoes NB 906 OR. I would highly recommend these shoes to everyone!

Salomon GC's areTop Drawer - As a runner/hiker I've tried nearly every brand sold in the US. This is one of the best shoes I've come accross in a long time. It lives up to its hype in terms of fit, support and durability. I actually bought two pair and alternate use. I would buy again even though they cost a little more than what I been accustomed to.

Received these shoes from Zappos before they were due to arrive. Ran on the trail immediately, great shoe. Good shoe for hot weather and is very comfortable. Also like the lacing system. The best trail shoe I have owned.

Great - I have had a good deal of compliments on them. They feel as good as my Nike Shox. I love them. I also loved the fact that I recieved them sooner than I was told or paid for.

First of all, I rarely see people wearing this shoe. I live in Iowa and there is just running. Adventure running is a term you might use when running through Des Moines late at night, but is really not applicable to running past corn and bean fields. My comment is that this is the best shoe I've ever owned, and that you really get what you pay for. This is the only running shoe I will buy from now on. Also, they are great for just running, even if you are not on an adventure.

Great Trail Runner - I was not sure if I was going to like this shoe when I first saw it come out. Then I saw it get an Editor's Choice award in Backpacker magazine and decided to give it a shot. I'm glad I did. Very comfortable and stable shoe. Lacing system is unique. The lace tucks into the upper portion of the tongue. This means that there are no laces flopping around to get caught on something or become untied, great for trail running and mountain biking. The GCS Pro breathes very well, ideal for warm days.

AWSOME - This shoe fit and feels awsome. The best running shoe I've ever owned. I've had many compliments about this shoe, and have told them were to get them.

Best shoes for peripheral neropathy and for visual effects - I own dozens of shoes [mostly New Balance per doctor's recommendation.], and am always seeking the ultimate comfort-shoe. This shoe fits the bill as advertised and feels great when I must walk [tho usually wheelchair-bound] and this shoe is so light/feathery feeling with lots of ventilation for decreasing foot odor yet I have not felt too cold in freezing weather wearing the Salomon's GCS Pro. These are my favorite pair of shoes bought, maybe ever. The superior cinch-lacy system is superior/quickly done and undone. Traction feels great [for me with poor balance this is a great plus!] I'd recommend these shoes to anyone, esp. the feet-disabled/painful feet as neurophy is. Shoe feels true to size, great looking eye-candy to show-off for those who feel the need. The foot has a comfortable arch or lack of--individual fitting sensation.

the two best features about this shoes are its breathability and its tread. I can feel the wind blowing into the shoe as i run, and after a little over a month, the tread shows no sign of wear. i was a little disappointed by the initial look of the shoe. two things initially struck my as unattractive. the side support of the shoe appears to be a shiny plastic, like on a children shoe. also, the mesh on the sides that allows the shoe to breath, while is a great feature, makes the socks quite visible, and frankly, these shoes don't look good with black on them, which is occasionally my sock color. overall though, I feel the money was well spent, as the look of the shoe doesn't prevent me from wearing it and being comfortable in it.

Ultimate Trail Shoe - When it comes to trail running shoes, I've been a die hard New Balance fan for years. I purchased this show based on the reviews and have been more than pleased. This is by far, the most comfortable, stable and all out best trail shoe I've ever owned. It has absolutely no shortcomings. Unbelievably comfortable. My feet never feel fatigued anymore. Long runs of fifteen miles or more... and my feet are still fresh.

Salomon GCS Pro - These shoes pass the test. As usual for Salomon shoes, they are extremely comfortable. If you have arch/plantar fasciitis problems, these are the ultra trail shoes you want, with or without aftermarket/prescription insoles. They do not protect from water since they are almost transparent, but drain and dry very fast. Best Salomon shoe yet by far and worth the $$. I have had good luck with all Salomon shoes with the exception of the XA Pro XCR, which has an odd shape inside and does not accept my insoles very well. You won't have that problem with these bad boys, though.
