I'venever owned the "Pre" style of this shoe., so I cannot compare the two. I do know this style is great! They go with anything, even a sundress., and are comfortable.I I Love these Jack Purcell's!??

Great fit and comfy right out of the box. I was afraid they’d be too right but they scuff up (just a little) nicely. Nice long shoelaces which I love and they go with everything casual. Great, versatile shoe. Would buy again.

I first bought these shoes 10 years ago and just ordered another pair to replace my (finally) dead old pair. Love how I can wear them with just about anything.

Great price. I bought one pair somewhere else then saw they were on sale on here and bought another pair for backup. Super comfortable and lightweight. Can wear with thick, thin, or no socks with no problem. Love this brand. Can never get enough.

These shoes are still my favorite. They are a hit more comfortable then I remember them being. Great all around summer shoe.

I love these shoes! They fit my foot better than the original Chuck’s and they are more comfortable, too! The tongue doesn’t come up as high on the top of the ankle, so that’s a win for me. They’re every bit as fashionable as the Chuck’s. I wish they came in as many colors as the Chuck’s without having to customize them directly from Converse.

I've been wearing Jack Purcells for over 30 years. Started with the white for a decade or two, then added the black, now enjoy the gray as well. It's my go to shoe. I always find them surprisingly comfortable. And always feel like they can go with literally almost any outfit because they're so classic looking.

I was looking for a new pair of converse Chuck Taylor’s and stumbled across these adorable Converse Jack Purcell’s. I loved the little smile across the front and how they are similar to Chucks while still being their own original style. I ordered a half size smaller than normal sneakers and a half size larger than I wear in Chucks, and they fit perfectly. I couldn’t wait for the snow to melt to put these on!

These shoes feel very comfortable to not be athletic shoes. This is my second pair of Purcell’s and I would recommend them. They have a good amount of support.

Very comfortable for moderate walking/standing. Super cute but I have flat feet so wouldn’t wear them on a long of walking/standing trip.

I wear between size 11 and 11.5 in Women's, and I have wide feet. I have Jack Purcell's in both sizes but the 11.5 fits the best. I wore these brand-new to Las Vegas, walking an average of 8 miles per day for 5 days, and never once got a blister and only slight discomfort on the outside of my pinky toe. The Converse low cut socks wore perfectly with these shoes as well.

These shoes are so comfy! Hight recommend for anyone looking for a classic pair of white sneakers! They will never go out of style. The insoles of the shoes are slightly cushioned for comfort

These shoes are great! I love them! The only thing I can say negative about these is that they run slightly big. I have 4 other pairs of Converse and ordered the same size as those. These ones are a little bigger. Very comfortable though!

Love the outer stitching and color combination. I wear converse shoes regularly. These are a bit cushier than the regular low cuts. I’d definitely buy another pair if they would keep up the contrast stitching with other colors. Red, green and grey please.

I ordered these and the white all star "chucks" off of zappos for comparison purposes. (also ordered the all white allbirds shoes), in my search for a casual white summer sneaker. The allbirds honestly just underwhelmed me based off of how comfortable everyone says they're supposed to be, and for $100 I expected better. I've owned many pairs of chuck originals over the years, mostly low top, and I always end up donating them after a few months of wear because I feel like they look too juvenile, punk rock, rebellious or something. I just can't pull that look off, and it never felt quite right even though I tried to make it work. This was my first time ordering the Jack Purcell's. I ordered my true size 8 and they fit the shape of my foot perfectly. I was unsure I'd like the double toe cap, but it really makes the foot look smaller, which I love. The cushioned footbed is softer than chucks (again, I did side by side comparison). Taking steps, the purcell feels more comfy, no doubt. I can't speak to past iterations of this shoe, but I can say I like this new version plenty well! Can go with everything from jeans, to dresses, to athletic clothes. For $65, i feel confident saying money well spent!

My go to Plimsoll’s for the summer - more comfortable than Superga’s, better looking than plain old All Star’s. Sized down half a size and they fit like a glove. Surprisingly comfortable footbed.

The Converse Jack Purcell are more comfortable than All-Stars. The insole seems to have more support and cushion. I have been wearing Jack Purcell’s for more than 10 years. I am a fan of the shoe construction and style. These do wear well. No problem wearing out of the box for 9 hours without as discomfort. I purchased these because I liked the white stitching on the blue canvas upper.
