I got a size 12, but they narrow too much at the ball of the foot. Wish they fit because they're very cool. You just have to be thin footed.

I really like the Purcell's CP, it suits me just right. I live in California and it gets really hot during the summer, so ever summer I buy one Purcell's CP and I wear it with a shorts and white t.

The trackless bottom may be used for something other than walking long distances as the road displayed on the back of the shoe shows, this shoe simply does not last, its bottom will eat away if you are one that walks often. It is a stylish shoe, I used to have a limited edition pair where they were black and gold, I felt like Elvis, but not for that type of shoe wearer.

These are fun shoes for the summer with shorts or capris. I have a narrow foot (2A) and was pleasantly surprised that this shoe was not too wide at 6.5 mans/8 womans. They are kind of soft without much support, but I didn't buy them for walking shoes so I'm not disappointed.

I wish these still came with the classic Jack Purcell laces (the ends have metal tips) instead of the generic laces, but that's what you get when Nike buys converse. Besides that, the shoes are great, very comfortable, true to size and the navy color in person is a true dark navy. I will probably buy more Jack Purcell's in the future. I'm just going to have to search eBay for those classic shoelaces.

The photos and video related to this product are, at the time of this review, incorrect. The Black pair of Jack Purcell's now have the same blue bottom as all the other pairs. This was disappointing to me and resulted in having additional pairs shipped to me only to have the same problem. The only difference in the black pair now is the canvas, everything else is identical to the white and blue pairs.

I was in desperate need of new Converse. I had grey low tops that I had since 6th or 7th grade and now I'm a junior in high school -- I had been wearing them for 4/5 years. They were falling apart and had multiple holes in them and the sole was completely worn down. I could easily poke a hole through with my finger it had gotten so thin. Bottom line, they were a lost cause and I was judged by all my friends (rude). The main reason I got these sneakers over all others was because several reviews said they were comfy, and considering my old Converse literally had no sole left on them I figured I was in the market for comfy shoes. When I first received these in the mail, I was a bit stunned at how white they were. Except, I mean, they're white so I don't even know what I'm saying. Grew to love them and now I wear them all the time. I'd say good choice overall, they go with everything and the blue strip on the front is my favorite part -- I will cry the day it rubs off because I know it's going to eventually. Comfy -- I'm size 9. They run true to size. Buy them. Bottom line: Comfy, some arch support, very white, true to size.

The shoe is comfortable once on but takes a bit of effort to put on. Even with the laces quite loose, it requires a some foot gymnastics to put on. It looks great and wears nicely otherwise.

This shoe, in particular, runs very small. I have several pairs of Converse All-Stars that are size 6 but in this shoe, I'm in an entire size larger. Plan on at least a 1/2 size larger than your normal All-star size. Other than that, I love 'em!

These are cute shoes, but the welt is already separating from the upper after only a month or so of regular wear. I can expect Airwalks that cost half the price to last just as long, if not longer, so I am slightly disappointed.

Too tight near the toes. Also it is a bit overpriced. I found the same model on sale at a local store. Won't say the name of it to avoid advertisement. It was on sale over there, with a good amount off the original price. Great deal, but not from Zappos, so I returned the item and bought it elsewhere. Still, your free shipping is nice. My item came on the second day with no cost. Thanks for that at least, great service

A *LITTLE* disappointed. This is a great looking shoe. A true classic. It has a very narrow toe box, however, and can get uncomfortable wearing them all day without socks. The footbed also seems to slip a little. The footbed adds a LOT of mass to the inside of the shoe. You can take it out and gain lots more room, but the bottom of the show is curved and if you have a wide foot, it, too, will get uncomfortable in a matter of hours. No problems at all with rubbing on the Achilles tendon. I'd probably just try the regular Jack Purcells next time.

Overall a great shoe. The only problem I had with the shoe was they run a little bit large. Otherwise I love the shoes.

Jack Purcell navy - comfortable, look good. The navy is quite a light blue - smart. Everything I thought they would be.

Great everyday shoe - This shoe is a perfect casual shoe for a reasonable price. The look is simplistic, yet different from the chuck taylors. It's also a lot more comfertable than the chucks, with it's thickers padding on the soles and the thongue. If you're looking for a nice casual look that can be dressed up or down, look no further.

Great Shoes - I originally ordered these for my daughter for Christmas, had to return them because they run large, then received a pair that was marked different on the website than the shoe box. I finally ended up with the right size for my daughter and kept a pair for myself. They are cute, very comfy and well made. Zappos was extrememly helpful in getting me the proper size, never charging for shipping, return shipping or difference in cost at times of reorder. My shopping experience with Zappos was so great, almost easier then going out to a store.

I have been wearing Jack Purcell's for years and this is the first time I was disappointed in the product. The tongue, in both shoes, slides down into the shoe. Not only is it annoying, forcing me to constantly pull them back up, but it actually causes pain to my feet where the material bunches up. Not sure if this is a new design flaw from Nike taking over production of this shoe, but I can't wear these. Bummer!

The design and quality of this show has changed. Over the course of 10 years this is the third pair of Jack Purcell's I have owned. The pair I just received has a poorer design with a weaker footbed. I am keeping them but it is likely the last pair I'll own.

Wore this shoe for years until they cut corners and product changed. Been wearing Chucks since; they always 1/2 size big (I wear 11 reg/10.5 Chucks). As these are also Cons, ordered these accordingly and found them too small. Zappos being the wonder they are shipped me my regular size and this fit better. It's now a well-enough-made shoe, more sturdy/supportive than Chuck offers-but nowhere near as comfortable. Narrow toe, and they take a damn long time to break in. Been romping around in them for a week and it's still painful. For comfort, stick to Chucks, or for a similarly classic look and great support check out some old Pumas. Cha dooky.

Runs somewhat narrow due to the rubber rand. Also, as I have noticed before, the converse foot beds are junk. They are lumpy in all the wrong places. They do not fit any contour of my foot at least. Same for the Chuck's I've tried on. Ordering up trying again.

Pretty disappointed with Converse for these. I've had a pair of Jack Purcells on rotation in my closet since I was 15 (~4 pairs in total) and they've always been my go-to. But like many have said in reviews, their quality has really gone down. These do not fit the same as past pairs I've had; the footbed is not as comfy nor does it have as good of arch support, the laces don't have the silver tips anymore, the tongue is no longer printed with their logo, they run smaller than they used to, and they just don't feel as substantial anymore. Decided to return this pair. After 10 years, it be time to find a new pair of white sneakers. :(

I ordered these to replace an old pair of black Jack Purcells that I loved. There are a few small details in this new pair that was missing from my old pair that I found disappointing. These shoes do not have the metal tipped shoe laces and the tongue does not have the Jack Purcell stitching at the top. Again, small details but ones that I miss.

I've bought and worn Jack Purcells, Converse has made the product less durable, the canvas isn't as heavy duty. In this case less isn't more, I washed the shoes after wearing them for a while. I like my tennis shoes very clean and after one washing they had a small tear in the shoe. I also wish Converse hadn't tried to do a subtle redesign. I'm referring to the change in the famous smile on the toe of the shoe that was always imbedded in the rubber not on top of the shoe! Design still great looking but quality not the same.

I was very disappointed with these shoes. I bought the same style a few years ago. (different color though) And they were the most comfortable shoes right out of the box. I wore them out and needed new ones. Bought these and they were very uncomfortable. It's been a few weeks now and they are just starting to get broken in. My feet are still hurting a bit. So I'm not happy with converse for changing what was a nice shoe to a not so nice shoe. Zappos however did a fine job on selling and shipping the shoes to me.
