These are beautiful - great support in the arch! The only thing is that the bottom of the boot juts out all around, about 1/4" - I think that's the style of the boot (and you can see it in the pictures) it's just that it's more pronounced than I thought and made the boot look more clunky than cool.

Love these boots, so hot! Excellent quality, super comfortable spongey sole, and thick, sturdy leather. These will only look better with age. If you're on the fence, go for it! These do fit a bit narrow, which works fine for me, but something to consider if you have a wider foot. I imagine the leather will stretch somewhat though.

I originally was looking at the Frye Harness boot and opted for this one mostly because of price but it also had excellent reviews. I'm so glad I went with this boot. They are immediately comfortable the first time you wear them; no breaking in necessary and they look great. I am usually an 8 to 8 1/2 and after reading reviews I went with the 7 1/2 and even that is a little loose so I suggest ordering a full size smaller than you normally wear. Awesome boots!

These boots do run large, so plan accordingly or wear thick socks. They are easily the most comfortable boots I have ever owned.

These boots were comfortable from the minute I tried them on. They fit perfectly, I never felt like I had to break them in, just put them on and started walking. Right now they are my favorite pair of boots!

I love these boots. When I slip them on they are comfortable, right away. There is no stiffness or need to break them in.

Definitely order half to full size down as they run large. Leather is beautiful, can't beat it for the price point. Very comfortable, but need to be worked in to get on and off easier. I wish the top of the boot was a bit wider to be able to tuck jeans in easier, but overall the boots are very high quality.

Look great and feel great! They run big so I would order at least a half a size smaller but they are really well made. They look and feel great and the leather is amazingly soft.

Great Boots! Love these boots. Like them better than Frye. Fit is better. I wear a size 8, but bought a 7 1/2 and they are very, very comfortable! Would like to purchase brown as well! Quality and look is great!

I love Zappos!!!! Super fast shipping, boots were at my door 24 hrs later! I got these boots two weeks ago and I love them they are super comfortable. Definitely order the size down if you are a half size they run a little bigger than other Uggs.

Hot Mama! I got these boots to wear riding my motorcycle. They are too sexy! Love them. The leather is comfortably soft, the fit I found perfect. I wear an 8.5 and the 8 was just right. The left foot for some reason is a little tight getting on, but that's not unusual for me and boots I expect will stretch out.

What--a pair of engineer boots that fit me??? I never thought I'd find a pair of boots in this style that I could wear with my banana feet--but these are great! At my wit's end after returning no less than 2 pairs of boots that were too wide--plus 1 more pair that was almost narrow enough in the foot but too narrow in the shaft for my ordinary-size calves--I decided to try a pair of size 7-1/2 (I usually wear 8 or 8-1/2), width B (I wear an AA or AAA) Durango’s. What could it hurt? Nothing, as it turns out. I still need a thick sock, but these are comfy. I think I can walk in them. I do hope the previous reviewers were wrong about them getting wider with wear. Maybe not so much, if the feet wearing them are narrow?

Totally comfortable - runs wide enough for my wide foot and they look fabulous! And they are lightweight. All good.

Is it just the ones I got? The fit was great, but the insole was the weirdest thing ever. It’s like they forgot to put it in the boot. Felt a hard ridge between the heel and the front of shoe. Was able to put in my orthotics with zero issues but almost zero padding. Sadly I am sending them back.

I had originally ordered the Frye boots, sent them back cause I listened to other reviews and sized down a half size, unfortunately they were too small when I finally got my credit, I tried to order an 8 but they were not in stock so I decided to buy two pairs of these, the black and the brown, I got them and loved them they were comfortable as soon as putting them on, plus I got two pair for only a little more than the Frye boots! I have wanted harness boots since I was a kid, so very excited to have two pair! :)

I've had a lot of foot problems for the past three years; I've had a bone spur and plantar fasciitis. I slipped my orthotics into these and wondered if they would work at first. After a day of walking around inside they feel just like slippers!

Very durable boot; I've gone through numerous pairs of cheaply made boots. These have finally held up over the past 3 years. I'm really hard on my boots because I ride motorcycles and typically kill the sole on all of them. Great thing about these is you can have any shoe smith resole them. Great boots for the price; best I've owned.

Durangos and Zappos.com - I ordered these boots for my girlfriend... when they arrived, they were a half-size too large so I signed on and requested a smaller size from a rep online. Not only was the rep courteous and helpful -- the boots arrived the NEXT DAY (even though I'd made the request at 11 P.M. EST). My girlfriend loves the boots and wears them at any available opportunity. I'd definitely recommend Zappos and these boots.

An update after having them for about 6 weeks... These stretch out well. Were a little tight/narrow, but feel great now at about 6 weeks in. Very comfortable. I ordered a size down and wore thin socks at first, but now thicker socks work well. They look like they'll wear/last well too.

Love These Boots - I love these boots! I took the advice of other customers and ordered 1/2 smaller. The fit was great. They were comfortable right from the beginning. The free shipping is a plus. I ordered on Friday and received the boots on Monday. I will recommend Zappos to others and will order from them again.

Better than Frye - I had been looking at black Frye boots that look just like these for three times the amount. Not only are these more comfortable, but they are better looking. Thank you once again Zappos, you ROCK!!!
