The shoe is running 1 whole size smaller than what is advertised. I ordered a 10.5 and wear a 10 and it is still too small in the toe area.

Sending them back - I ordered these shoes for work. I have worn character shoes for work for years and thought this style would be nice to try. I ordered a half size larger than my regular size and that was perfect. I also ordered the wide which I need and that was perfect as well. However, the heel cup of the shoe is hard and comes up too high and digs into the back of my ankle. Also, the placement of the strap digs into the bones on the side of my foot on the strap origination side not the buckle side. This shoe hurt my foot just trying it on. It's going back.

These shoes are just great -- buy a size larger than street. So glad to find good dancing shoes in a wide width, and an appearance the envy of my dancing compatriots.

Perfect for dance - These are so comfortable you almost (almost) forget they're on your feet. I've stood/danced/done blocking in these in rehearsals for over 3 hours and still been comfortable. I ordered them in my regular size (7 m) and they fit just fine. THANKS ZAPPOS!

I love these shoes! I was very skeptical at first because there were some negative reviews, but I am so happy that I did purchase them. Some of the reviews stated that there was a need to size up. You do not need to size up! At first they are a bit snug, but once you break them in they are perfect. The shoe is pretty good quality and my director loves them! I recommend them to all!

GORGEOUS! A beautiful character shoe! Very pricey, but worth it. I use it as a tap shoe. Hard leather sole is very sturdy, but flexible enough. Heel height is perfect-sexy but not too high to dance. High quality leather broke in very fast, and bound edges didn't rub. I put in gel-pads for shock absorption at the ball of the foot. I recommend for serious dancers!

I'm 48 years old and wear an 8.5 to 9 wide shoe. This fit well (true to size and width) style was adorable but I didn't like the color. Was a very flat looking black color, almost like a dusty black. I chose the "TicTacToe" shoe instead. It wasn't as cute in style but had a richer black faux leather texture.

Beautiful shoes- very good quality. I was just afraid of the heel height, so I returned them. Otherwise, they were awesome!

Follow MGF instructions and order a size up! I read many reviews and it appeared that this wasn't really necessary, but I should have followed instructions.

Comfortable, good-looking shoe. Buy same as street size. Do not need half size bigger.

Comfortable to dance in, and less after shock the next morning. Could do without the nail in the center of the heel bottom - wondering how that will wear, but great now!

After several returns, I choose these marvelous shoes. Dance shoes are best for me, mostly because I have very sensitive feet (although I do take ballroom dance classes). These soft shoes fit like a glove and are still supportive. They were my wedding shoes. Dyed them white and had a ball; comfortable all day. very stylish, very comfortable for a heeled shoe. (I have gotten out of the habit of wearing heels, as they are uncomfortable and I feel wobbly on them. these solve both problems!)

Used to wear these dance shoes 30 yrs ago for work in business, and still find them classic and comfortable! As always, Zappos service is awesome.

Pageant Ready - I used these shoes for the production numbers we performed at Miss Michigan Outstanding Teen Pageant this past week. I enjoyed them and they were easy to walk and dance in. I would recommend these shoes if you need a pair of black heels and your feet are too small to wear normal heels like me.

Cindy L. I've recently purchased this stylish tap shoe and am extremely happy. Very comfortable and easy to tap in. I generally wear a size 8 1/2, but ordered a size 9 medium and it fits perfect. At 53 years old and experiencing tap dancing lessons at my local YMCA, I'm the envy of the class with these shoes!

Excellent - Everything was wonderful except the buckle is gold and you can't really tell that from the picture.

Perfect shoe, but I ordered wide width - The shoe is very comfortable, and fits better with width. I don't usually take wide but after reading customer reviews decided to order a hlaf size larger and wider. The shoe fits perfectly.

Great shoe. It is rather narrow, but I have narrow feet, so this wasn't a problem for me. Comfortable straight out of the box, which was surprising.

A+++ dance shoe - I have been wearing Capezio character shoes for many years (for ballroom dancing) and this new style is the best so far! The shoe is beautiful and has a nicely shaped heel. But even better than how it looks, is how it feels - the new design is VERY comfortable and has excellent support.
