Customer Reviews Acorn Slipper Sock

I've been wearing Acorn Slipper socks (cotton) since the early 80s, buying new pairs with confidence because they were one of those perfect items that does't need fixing. I'm tall and slim and the new fit of these socks are to tight around the ankle, and the top of the sock also way too tight. Further, the length of the sock is now much too long. I had to return them much to my great disappointment! I can't image someone with larger ankles/calf than mine being comfortable in these...I"m a standard size 11 and slim. My wife ordered a new pair and returned them for the same reason as well. What a shame.

Sock portion designed for "stork" legs. Will not stretch enough to pull up on calf.

Stitching is poor and comes loose right out of the package.

With the new Acorn, your heel rest on "hump." So it keep sliding off. I will never buy Acorn again!
