The sizing on the Acorn website does not match the sizing on the actual slipper sleeve. I ordered two sets trying to get the correct size for a woman's size 8. Neither size I ordered worked. Very disappointed.

Bought these for my wife and they are way too big and we used the size chart too. The top part where the sock ends is just an elastic band and it can unroll so you can see it too

I have had a few pairs of Acorn slipper socks and loved them. Unlike regular slippers, they kept my ankles and lower leg warm throughout the winter. But the pair I just received is so narrow I couldn't even get my foot down into the slipper part. The sock seemed stiff and wouldn't stretch out like normal socks do.

the size listed on your website IS NOT the size the actual item arrives in, mine were an entire size too small - I returned both pair for a complete refund and hope to have a credit soon

Very scratchy. I had these slippers years and years ago. They were fleece and ankle height. Please bring the ankle height back!!

the upper sock was sewn in to tight could not put my fist thru the opening in upper sock to put slipper sock on i had purchased these same socks for my wife and they fit her great and she still wears them i had purchased her socks last year as a gift it seems like this year's socks that you received were not inspected as far as quality goes these socks are made defectively . sorry i purchased them plus it took almost 3 weeks to get them .i would advise shipping usps instead of fedex.

I returned these Slipper Socks to Zappo's. The cotton knit felt like kitchen twine! It was very scratchy and had NO stretch. I could not get the sock part over my ankles, much less up my calves. Terrible product. Useless. A good slipper sock is now almost impossible to find. I'll wear a good slipper with socks from now on.

These slipper socks are just ridiculous! I wore them in the 80s and 90s when they first came out -- and they were fabulous. However, the cotton ragg ones I just ordered (in two sizes) were so tight, I seriously could not get my foot into them. I read about this in other reviews but didn't believe it -- my bad. Returned!

The slipper part is fine, but the sock part is more narrow than a regular sock. So in fact it doesn't fit.

Older generation of these socks, used softer wool that conformed better and was easier to slip you foot into. This wool is so stiff and just not the same. This pair has a Very long leather foot bed...almost too long for the size. Width is Perfect.

These are men's slippers, more like 8yr old boy. I could not get them
over my heel, much less my foot. Plus they look like they would
be so itchy.

I'm sorry to say that these Acorn rag wool slipper socks are completely unacceptable. The fit is nothing like I expected. The length is OK but the width is much, much too narrow. They are advertised as D width but they are actually about AAA super narrow. I cannot even get them on my feet. We need a lot of improvement and truth in advertising before I will attempt another purchase. They will be returned ASAP.

The 3XL 13.5-14.5 sized version won't even go over my size 13D feet, and they don't make a larger size. Guess only tiny footed people can wear these.

The sock portion of the slipper is so narrow that I can't get the slipper on at all! My wife tried washing the slippers thinking she could stretch them a little so I could get them on but that didn't work. Next, we're going to try to put something round down the sock and into the slipper to stretch when wet and then let it dry. So disappointing.

Have had two pair of these prior to this order. Quality does not even compare. They have been returned.

I have owned many Acorn slipper products over the years and never been disappointed. This pair is positively bizarre. The size chart indicates XXL as the suggested size for a Men's size 12-13 foot. I wear in that range so ordered them. They arrived about an 1.5 inches longer than needed and so narrow that the sole is narrower than my foot. The sole, in fact, isn't even shaped like a human foot. I spoke to Customer service about this and was told that with the mergers with Isotoner and some other companies they have found some problems with some new suppliers. A second pair was sent in case the first was an anomaly and it was similar although longer. Customer service refunded the charge and didn't require for me to return the defective slippers and suggested donating them locally to a clothing bank of some kind. My feeling is that the company was very responsible in terms of dealing with the product but the slippers themselves were completely unacceptable.
