These slippers are awful. The seam that joins the leather to the wool is lumpy and irregular, as if the person who sewed these is just learning how it's done. Very poor craftsmanship in this regard. The slippers are ugly and uncomfortable because of the lumps and puckers in the seam. It's too bad, because the materials, and the padding in the sole are just what I was looking for. Quick service from Zappos, as always.

Best slippers ever! These are the warmest most comfortable slippers I have ever owned. They are also extremely long wearing and I love the fact that they are machine washable!

Acorn Slipper Sock - These are warm and cozy slipper socks - for the leg and ankle as well. The only problem is that the socks seem to stretch and make the slipper feel very loose. I just washed them and I am not sure I was supposed to do that. They turned out well, but are still damp. The top slipper part shrank. We will see if that helps the fit.

This has become a mediocre product over the years. It slips and slides on the foot, and makes me feel like a circus clown when I walk. The slipping and sliding creates a weakness in the leather and yarn, and one sock has ripped after only a few months. A few years ago, this was an excellent product.

Not only is Zappos great on free delivery and promptness, these slippers are fantastic. We have 2 pair so far: comfy and long lasting.

This is a nice winter Sunday morning shoe to wear at home. But it is too small and I find my self with my heel behind the leather sole. If it weren't for that, they would be the most comfortable things ever. I recommend that you buy them one size bigger than your size.

I really like these slipper socks. They are very well-made which is consistent with what you would expect from the Acorn brand. The bottoms are slightly cushiony, but please know there is no arch support. I use these for walking around the house to keep my feet and legs warm. One thing to note - the sock part is 100% cotton. It is not stretchy. At first I thought I wasn't going to be able to get them on, but I did. They fit well around my calves although there's no stretch. I wear a ladies 9.5 and I got the Mediums which fit just fine.

I love this slipper sock. I love the way it fits, keeping my ankles as well as my feet warm. I love the extra cushiony inner sole and my husband loves it, because he can have his Acorns back since I have a pair of my own. Thanks again Zappos for your great service.

Well, I appreciate the fast delivery. The free shipping, but most of all that my husband was thrilled with the socks. I was wearing them daily and says they are warm. What more could I ask for in a Christmas gift that I gave? Thanks again. I'll be back!

Christmas present to keep my feet warm - and they are working. They remind me of slippers of years gone by that my grandfather had. The leather sole makes them very durable.

These are wonderful. I am a transcriptionist and work from home. I can feel the foot pedal with these and my feet stay toasty. I went one size down from my regular shoe size and they're perfect. I put mine in the washer on cold and gentle, line dried and they're perfect still, as Zappos is with their service!

Just received my (two) new pairs of Slipper socks. Just as I expected, perfect! This has been at least my 5th experience with Zappos. Unbelievable everything! Service, product and obviously, their shipping policy. My loyalty will remain every time I need footwear.

Great sock/shoe for the diabetic! These have been a really good set of footwear. I had to modify one for a partially amputated foot from a diabetic situation, but got it to work pretty well for casual use around the house. They do not cut off blood flow and fit well enough for my uses.

Excellent slipper - This slipper is very well made, and extremely comfortable. It's plenty warm for these colder days, but I expect it will be fine in summer, too. The wool top is not itchy at all. The leather bottom is of very high quality. The size range is pretty great (10 1/2/ to 11 1/2), and since my size is at the lower end, the slipper felt somewhat big to me, but perhaps it would not to others whose sizes are in the higher range. As always, the service from Zappos was outstanding--the shoes arrived the next day exactly as advertised. Why buy shoes (or any other stuff Zappos sells) from anyplace else?

Warm slippers - Liked the slippers, they are a bit itchy, but I am thinking they will be fine after I wash them a few times.

Cozy, cozy,cozy! I bought these for my teenage son and he loves them so much. I tried them on and then I ordered a pair for myself and a different version for his little brother! These are the BEST!!!

Poor craftsmanship. The stitching at the sole gave way with less than two hours of wear. A Christmas gift we will have to return.

I purchased these slippers for my husband hoping they would be a good replacement for his favorite slippers our dog ate. While he had his other Acorn slippers for 20 years, he said these were a pretty close match. I am so relieved for finding these on Zappos and thankful for their super speedy delivery.

Acorn slipper sock review - The sock is great but it seems to run a little small. So, they need to come up with the next largest size. Also, the top of the sock is a little tight for pulling on. Otherwise, it is warm and comfortable. Reminds my husband of the Mukluk socks he wore as a boy.

I had no idea I was so allergic to wool. I have worn wool sweaters and stocking caps all my life. However, after wearing these socks for a few hours my feet were itching like crazy. They also were not quite as easy to get into as I had hoped.
