These are gigantic, I'm a size 8 1/2 so first tried S, then XS, and now I'm going to re-order the XXS! The seem wonderful though and I'm ready to love them, if only I can find the right size.

The slipper socks feel good and fit well. They are pretty warm but not overwhelmingly warm. They have more cushion than other slippers that I've had. They are a little difficult to take off and put on. Overall, I'm pleased with them.

Basically ok but less well made than in the past, particularly shaped very narrowly. Also strangely long sock. Looks funny but surely will be warm.

I have not been able to wear shoes because of a foot deformity that is causing a lot of pain, so I have been looking for a solution that provides some protection from rough outside surfaces. Although these were relatively expensive, I thought they might be worth it. The quality is excellent, and for someone who is taller, they are probably perfect, but I am very short. The upper part is just too long and heavy for my needs. Also, I do want extra room in the toe area, but with these, my foot tends to come up just where the stitching is and the leather sole is attached. Consequently, I'm worried about tripping over the toes. I'm sorry I'm not able to give a more positive review, but I think these probably don't work very well for small people with short legs. For others, I'm sure they are cozy, and they are certainly well made.

Size runs large in foot length but is narrow at the ankle making it difficult to put on. Price is quite high.

Would have preferred ankle length. Calf-high sock top is too tight for my calf. I've continued to use my 10+year-old ankle high MukLuks that I bought these to replace. Acorn version is better than current Mukluk choices but not as good as the old ones.

I wear a woman's 9.5 and the slipper felt more like a men's 9.5 or 10. I can't wear them because I feel like I'd trip.

The main problem here is that the slippers are WAY TOO LARGE for the claimed size. I ordered a pair that should have fit me -- right in the middle of my size range -- but they were probably two sizes too large. I exchanged the first order for the next size down (two sizes below my regular shoe size) and they, too were too large -- about one size. The slippers appear well-made though the wool material began pilling within the first couple of days. And the sock-slippers are calf-length, not really what I wanted. Unfortunately I also found the wool to be quite itchy. Sadly, between poorly-sized and itch, not the slippers for me.

I liked the style as I wanted a slipper that covered my ankles and shins. I also wanted a soft sole. I have a 91/2 shoe so chose 10 for size. Width was ok but the length was over an inch long and dangerous to walk in as made tripping more likely. I may try again with a smaller size as the 10 looks like it would fit a 12 shoe

Since this is a unisex situation, I am very uncertain as to which size to buy. I returned a large because it was huge and it wasn't clear which size to order so I returned them. Liked but haven't reordered yet due to sizing

I thought I was ordering the wool socks. All the choices looked like different colors of wool socks, I never realized that some were cotton. This is misleading and disappointing.

Actually not super impressed by the slipper, it ran large on sizing, and the slipper connected to the leather piece makes it kind of wrinkly.

Husband wears a 9 or 9.5, depending on brand. Ordered the Acorn size L ( Mens 9 -10). They are much too large, easy Mens 11-12.

I like my slipper socks but wish they were not unisex. I ordered the size for women's 8 but they are still too big. I did not return them but I think if they made male and female slipper socks, I would enjoy them more.

I do like the product and will continue to wear them. However, they do fit a little weird because the hole (where you stick your foot in) is at the heel instead of a little bit more centered. If that makes any sense. Also, the wool is a little itchy. I still like the product though.

Quite large. My wife’s size is 7. The 6.5-7.5 was a full inch too long. However, the sock was also quite tight on the calf, and the material is rather rough.

While they are cheaper than those from LL Bean, they don’t fit very well as compared to the Bean pair I wore out. Would not buy again.

Ordered a pair of these slipper socks and they were a little small so I passed them on to my wife. No problem there. I then ordered one size larger for myself to get a tad more length and extra width. When they arrived and I tried them on I found that "one size larger" only means one size longer. So I still have slipper socks that are to narrow and extra long. I'll keep them but they are not what I was expecting or hoped for.

The socks were tight in the ankles. There did not seem to be enough leather soles to keep the socks up on the heels of my foot. I could see that they might slip under my heels, and I would be walking on socks only.

Well made and plan on using this winter. I think they cost to much, $49.95 is to much for a wool sock and leather and not vey atractive but they will keep my feet warm and that is why I ordered.
