slippers are a half to big, width is great, no arch support, but I didn't need that in the slippers.

I love the slippers, they remind me of what I would get on Christmas day back in the 1950's! My only complaint about them is they are very narrow around the ankle. I bought a MD size and my ankles are normal in size for my height, however they left stretch marks on my ankle and were not comfortable when wearing them. I took two large plastic drink glasses and inserted them into the socks at the ankle and left them on the table that way for a week. They didn't stretch much at all, so I think I will moisten the fabric and re-inset the glasses and see if that stretches them a bit.

The fit of these slippers is odd. I ordered the women’s 8-9 since my shoe size is 8; but perhaps I should have ordered the 7/7.5. The foot part is too long and too wide. The sock part is tight — although they may stretch, but I’m not certain of this — making them challenging to “slip” into as one would with a regular slipper. Also, the bottom of the slipper is ... slippery on wood, and, since much of my house has wood floors, this is a problem. I got them because for keeping not just my feet but also my ankles warm, but wanted the ease of putting on, and that is not the case. So, I may return them.

A great idea, but extremely hard to fashion a fit that works for everyone. These are made for people with a slim to average build. I am neither. So I will have to employ a crew of assistants to pull on or remove them. The sock materials need to be stretched quite a bit to fit me.

If you do not have wide feet these would fit fine. They were well made and warm.

These are my winter go to for around the house...they are fairly durable but they do wear out within a couple years as the stitching around the bottom sole pulls away from the sock fabric. I am on my third pair in the last five years, I like the comfort of these as a slipper and feel it is a good bang for the buck in these times of disposable products!

I bought these for my husband. I don't know - he says they're the best. At first he was upset I ordered these without his approval - then when he found out they were the Acorn 'leather bottom slippers' he was a-ok!

This is my second pair. It bunches up around instep more than the old ones did (as the photo clearly shows). Otherwise, very warm and comfortable; I wouldn't be without them.
