I remember as a kid having slipper socks: cotton with vinyl soles, slippery. These slipper socks are, thankfully, not those. These are wonderful: memory foam for your feet to sink into, leather soles, wool/cotton blend socks. These bad boys are Warm. If you like warm feet at home or camping, or even on long trips flying or as a passenger in a car, these will do it. I would have loved to have had these on trips to Germany as your feet tend to swell a tad on long flights. I wish I had found these years ago. Your feet will thank you many times over.

Cozy and warm, these slipper socks definitely hit the mark. I am a huge fan of wool, which is why these caught my eye. The sock feels well made, though for those (like me) who are used to wool blends like those used in SmartWool socks, be aware that these won't hug your leg in quite the same way.

These are incredibly warm on both feet and lower legs. They are also incredibly ugly on your feet, but well worth it. They are, after all, to be worn around the house.

I was very pleased with this slipper, and with the service from Zappos. The only thing I would suggest is a better color description - the slipper is not grey as described - but tan, as pictured. Also, they were a little large, but after being washed, the slippers fit perfectly. Very happy with this purchase!

I had these when I was a kid growing up in the 50's and was so happy to see they are still made. Fantastic quality and super warm.

I love these slippers almost like an old wintertime friend. I had my previous pair for more than seven years, and they were finally starting to fall apart from wear. These slippers actually improve with age, they get softer and softer.

I am so happy I found you so I could get another pair of the Acorn slipper socks. I ones I have are ancient, don't even know where I bought them. My big toe is trying to escape so I wanted another pair, just in case this rascal came through. Thank you again.

These slipper-socks are outstanding. They are virtually cold-impenetrable, making them the perfect choice for cold tile or stone floors in the winter, yet they also breathe so there's no over-heating either. Hammacher Schlemmer sells them, but Zappos has them for less!

Love this slipper! I have constant cold feet but these slippers actually warm my feet down to the bone. They're fun/cute and very cozy. They run just a tad large but that's ok for slippers.

Comfortable and warm...some slippers make my feet sweat. These are perfect, my feet are warm but not sweaty because these breathe!

Really nice. Only problem. Past reviewers indicated they would be on the small size so I ordered up. Now I have slippers that are huge on me and I will need to reorder.
