I've been wearing the Acorn "Mucklucks" for many years and find them perfect for fall, winter and spring's cool days. There is nothing like them.

My husband wanders in frequently to the living room telling me how wonderful his acorns are. He thanks me profusely and I say, "You are welcome dear". Get some, your tootsies will be cozy.

Buy smaller as they run big. If you want to keep your ankles warm thiese are the way to go.

Love the comfort and warmth. I'm disappointed that the wool is already starting to pill after just a few wearings.

I love these slippers because they are so comfortable and really keep your feet warm. The durable soles of the slippers keep you from slipping on slick surfaces. My only concern with them that after wearing just a few times the knit sock part of the slipper started pilling. Hopefully they will still function as they have.

Excellent product, but would be improved with a Thinsulate lining for the foot we wear a product like this because we keep our house cool to save energy & curb global warming.

Good, solid, but flexible leather padding is very comfortable. However, the texture of the wool sock itself is a bit too coarse.

Fits great, very comfortable but itchy on the skin of course given the material. Hopefully several washes will soften it up.

I have owned the slipper socks for three months now and wear them all day every day. They are very comfortable and the soles are very durable. The one issue is the knitted sock. The sock does not have a smooth soft feel to it and it pills terribly making it appear unattractive and makes me wonder how long it will hold up.

Cozy and warm, the only complaint is that the wool "pills."

A little better than expected. Extra warmth inside the Ranch house and good enough for a quick trip outside even on the High Prairies of the Idaho Rocky's

My husband loves these. So warm and easy on the soles of his feet. These will not damage tatami surfaces, while rubber soled slippers will.

For 20 years my Acorn slipper socks were my go-to slippers. These were an older style with a fleece top and elastic cuff around the ankle. They were very cozy and very secure on my feet. Sadly they were lost on a family trip, much to my dismay when I realized that style was no longer available. I replaced them with these socks, which are cozy. They are probably too hot to wear in summer (unlike the old style) and the don't hold your foot as snugly, though they are still more snug than most slippers if you get the right size. I had to return them and order a size smaller than advertised as the large was huge - more like a mens 12-13 shoe than the advertised 9-10. The medium was much closer to my shoe size (men's 9.5.)

We had a house fire and my husband couldn't find these anywhere. These are exactly what he had and he's thrilled. It took them FOREVER to get here. I think they were sent by pony express so don't get them for a gift unless you give them a lot of leeway. Ridiculous wait.

I'd love it if Acorn added a style option to the original slipper sock with a reinforcement on the top of the toe!
