I had bought my wife 2 pairs of Sorel Snow Kittens over the past 10 years. She loved them and they lasted forever even though she used them to feed our horses in the harsh Montana winters. When they finally gave out I had to settle for a pair of Snow Lions as Sorel quit the Kitten line. The wife has worn them every day since Christmas and says they are even better than her previous boots. She says they have more support and fit great. Zappos were great to deal with as far as free shipping, fair price and very quick delivery time even over the holidays.

These boots are great. They are super warm and high enough to keep snow from slipping in the top. I was pleased with the fast shipping from Zappos.

Warm boots. The laces allow you to get a bit more support around the ankles. I purchased a half size up from my shoe size to allow for thick socks.

If you need a sturdy boot to keep you warm and weather major snow this would definitely fit the bill. I am returning it because it's a bit much for commuting to work in NYC. I just don't need this much protection for our weather, but the quality seems great and looks like it would last a lifetime. Thanks for the ease of shopping!

Absolutely perfect for outdoor chores. Warm and comfortable! I wear a 9 1/2 and the 10's are perfect with thick socks.

My daughter bought these boots for winter. She's up in Maine at college so she needed very warm winter boots because the winters out there are extremely cold. These were perfect. They are so warm and comfortable. No cold or snow gets into these. My niece and I tried them on and liked them so much we are ordering a pair each. They were so warm I did not want to take them off. These boots are strong and durable as well. My daughter goes through any footware like water but these have lasted and are still in great shape.

I love these boots. They came just in time because in New York we had a huge snow storm. People complain that they are heavy but when you wear them for a while you can get accustomed to the weight. I have a wide calf and the boot comes with a boot inside. I received a few compliments. I feel they were worth every dollar I paid for them. I wear them without sock and they feel just fine.

I bought my Sorel Snowlion's 10 years ago and I still love 'em. This year I bought them for my daughter and daughter-in-law for Christmas. They are so comfortable and so warm. The tall gaiter keeps your pants dry no matter how deep the snow is. Perfect for shoveling or making a snow fort!!!

These boots make you feel like you can conquer Mt. Everest! I wear 10.5 and ordered 11 and they fit perfect. Liners are totally removable which makes drying faster. Very comfortable too! Just wish they made other than just black or white. A little girly would be nice.

My 15 year old daughter picked these out and loves them! Perfect timing, as we've been getting record snows in Minnesota.

I love these boots, just a little bit heavy duty for what I need them for. Ordered my regular size, needed a least a half size bigger. I will order from here again.

Very toasty boots! I wear these in the cold Wisconsin winters, and they are perfect for everything from scaling snow drifts to get the mail to snowshoeing. The boots are pretty heavy, but manageable and the lining does come out with your foot at times. I wear a 6 and ordered a 7 for thick socks. The lining keeps your feet so warm that special winter socks are not really necessary. Warning, though. They can still be pretty slippery on ice.

I absolutely love these boots. I walk the dogs in over a foot of snow at times, but my feet are always dry and warm. I just recommended them to a friend.

WARM, have been looking for a nice comfy warm boot and I finally found one. I am a size 9, and they fit perfectly. Love that they are so high, keeps most of your leg super warm. Not boots to wear to dinner but if you are looking for some to wear to shovel or walk to the ski lodge these are perfect. Thank you Zappos for letting me return a few other boots before I found these.

Amazing! I'd scoured the local malls for weeks with no luck for a replacement for my Snowlions that I'd outgrown (going up a shoe size after pregnancy should be added to the list of things they tell you in health & safety class!). Anyway, I found them on Zappos and they were on my front doorstep about 12 hours after I ordered them! Unbelievable! Excellent service, excellent boot. They're clunky, but they fit over my jeans. Even when I'm wading through the Colorado snow to clean off my car I'm nice and warm.

I love my Snowlions - I had a pair of Sorel Snowlion boots that survived 15 years before they finally died. I loved them, so I bought another pair. The new ones have a beefier sole than the old ones. As with the old ones, they fit big. As with the old ones, I will insert an athletic insole to take up some space and provide arch support. I expect to love these as much as my old pair. Thanks Zappos, for getting them to me so quickly. We've been getting a lot of deep snow in Denver this winter.

Big Bear here we come! I ordered my boots on Tuesday (just before noon) and received them the next morning! Didn't pay anything for the shipping! Loved how quick and easy this whole transaction was! As for the boots ~ they're perfect! Nice snug fit when they're laced up and tightened at the calves. I'm an 8 1/2 and the 9's feel great. Lots of room at the toe (about a little under an inch of space). These are very comfy even with my husbands ski socks on! Lining is perfect for a warm snug fit. Not heavy at all. Jeans fit just fine when tucked in.

Fashionable does not apply - but that is not what Snowlions are about! I recently wore mine trudging through 3 feet of snow and no snow got inside the boot and my feet stayed toasty. They are heavy - but it is the full length felt that gives the warmth. They lace up easily and the top secures easily as well. Try on similar Sorrels before ordering to get the right size. I ordered one size larger than my shoe size and they are perfect.

I miss mjne! I had mine for several years and my daughter wanted her own. Both of our pairs were lost in a fire the other day and we are online at Zappos now to buy two new pairs. They are the warmest, most comfortable, best gripping winter boots either of us have ever owned. You can pull them right on or loosen the cinch to tuck pants in. Wouldn't even consider other winter boots.

What can I say? They are Sorel's. Have owned several pair, and the only reason I get new ones is I'm tired of the color. My feet will be warm and toasty. I got my true size, and there is some wiggle room - probably enough for a moderately heavy sock, but not super heavy. I never wear wool socks with these! I got the white, and they are really white!

Love the snowboots - I purchased these boots for my ski trips in Lake Tahoe. There hasn't been enough snow yet to pull the boots out of the back of the truck to test their waterproofing, but the boots are comfortable (I'm normally a seven and a half, bought an eight, gives me plenty of room for extra socks and maybe a smidgy bit of room for swollen feet after a day of skiing). I got the purplish colored boots, and they're not bad looking for a snowboot. I got the boots in under a week - excellent service.

Snow Shoe - This shoe was very comfortable, and I love it. Though I wished that the shipping was faster, but everything was else was fast, and they were emailing me about the process and everything. So thanks Zappos.

Extremely warm boot - This is a great boot for outdoor activities. It is tall enough that snow cannot find its way in, and it's one of the warmest boots I've ever owned. The white boot is fun to wear in the snow. I was a bit concerned at first that they would get dirty quickly, but they haven't. Though this is a laced boot, you don't have to lace up each time you wear it; it's actually more of a pull-up boot, which is great. I found the size to run a little large. I'm a 9 1/2 and I ordered a 10. But it seems to be a perfect fit when I wear a heavy sock. Overall, this is a great value for such a super boot!

Comfy, warm boot. Looks HUGE- I just got these- haven't tried them outside yet, but I'll put them to the test tomorrow when we're forecast for snow and rain. They feel comfortable and roomy enough for big socks, and I like the height- no more struggling with gaiters for me. My feet are pretty flat, and these are roomy enough in the toe for me. They look like Frankenstein shoes though- definitely not a fashion boot, even the nice all white boot. But as someone who has had frostbite in the past, what matters most is warmth, and these fit the bill. They're vegan too- no wool or leather. I returned a pair of Kamiks because of the wool liner. Love Zappos! Excellent and fast service- these boots arrived in less than two days.
