This is a great boot -- really comfortable, and quite warm. My only gripe is that the laces go through eyelets all the way to the top, rather than having hooks for the last few. Makes it a bit hard to get the laces tight. Otherwise, I love these boots.

Good, lightweight boot. Keep my feet dry but not good for extended periods of super cold weather. These would not be good for sitting in a tree stand but are great for working in.

These boots are great for snow removal jobs or anything where you'll be standing in snow for long periods of time.

Nice boot. Lightweight, durable, comfy/nice padding, true to size. I havent used them in the snow yet, so i cannot comment on warmth and waterproofing. They are a little pricey, i figured being that these are imported they would of been cheaper. They seem pretty decent. Lets hope the rubber doesnt seperate. Would of given "5 STARS" if boots were manufactured in the U.S.A

Very warm, easy to walk around in, water proof, good traction. Only problem is that seam separated from outside of both boots near bottom of big toe. Zappos customer service for this was excellent as always and I got a replacement pair. Would have rated 5 stars if not for defect.

This boot is warm, looks great and seems to be very well made. However, I've found the drawstring around the top of the boot to be rather uncomfortable around my shins, so I have to leave the string completely loose. I may even take it out of the boot.

Overall, I love the boot. I live in Alaska and work it very hard including using it for a moose huntin' boot. The one thing I cant stand is the strap around the back - it always comes loose. I have even taken several falls cause of it catching the other boot. So needless to say, cut it off. Nice boot for around town, though the top entry point should be rethought as well.

Overall a great boot. The fit is about a half size to big. The boot is a little difficult to put on but the tight fit is great while working in them.

Pretty nice boots, though hard to put on/off since of narrow and tight top piece. Great protection from water, slip-resistant sole. Not very comfortable to do tight lacing due to slippery upper lace holders. Boots have nice design, good price for such item, so far kept me warm, will see at -30C. If you decide to buy it, check size carefully, since it's only thing that can upset you.

Helo There, i own the a pair sorel conquest in black for about a month now. the black looks very much like a tactical boot. I used it when in heavy snow. This thing is like a beast, I didnt feel a thing, trudged through a foot of snow without feeling a thing. but i gotta warn you this thing is rated to -40 so it does get quite warm when you're indoors. In my experience of a month, the boot was worth the time money and effort for a winter boot. Thanks

This is my second season with the boots and they are wonderful. Sounds like the others haven't figured out that if water goes over the top the boot gets flooded. They are a bit clunky.

I have worn Sorel since I was a kid. This new style fits very well once you squeeze your foot down into the boot. The strap is nonfunctional in my opinion. I would buy these again. I suggest they drop the strap and provide a little more room to get your foot into the boot in the ankle area. The warmth is just as I expected from Sorel. The tread provides excellent traction in snow and on ice. I ordered a half size larger than I normally wear and they fit snug with everyday socks.

The boots fit fine, except for the left ankle where the side buckle is. Wore them the 1st time in Steamboat Springs CO where the temp was 25 and had no problems with cold feet. Upper leather a little stiff and that caused some problems in driving, but overall a good value, just need to break them in more.

Good snow boots. Very durable, warm, awesome waterproof, and look great. The only thing I was not completely satisfied about is comfort. They are not bad, but they also not as comfortable as my Columbia boots. Is you are looking for a tuff warm boot, these are it. But if comfort is more important to you, go with something else.

These boots turned me onto Sorel and I see no reason to go anywhere else! I had no plans to review them, as I've had them for over a year now, but was shocked at the neg reviews, so I decided to give some credit where it's due. I'm a mail carrier in Northern Utah. These boots get a lot of time in the snow and slush, including in the 2 degree temp I woke up to this morning, and I couldn't be more confident with them. I've done everything but wade through ponds, and have never had a drop of water sneak through. Pros: WARM, great in wet conditions. excellent ice traction. Cons: Slight pain in the arch between my shin and foot. I won't blame Sorel, though, that's probably a sizing issue on my part. I know many other people who use good boots, and often when a quality boot isn't working out for somebody, a lack of care is to blame. Buy a good Leather Protector like Obenauf's, and run over them before each season. I hate cliches, but if you take care of them, they'll take care of you.

Very Bulky - These boot replaced my Columbia Bug a Boots, I wore them on the glaciers in Iceland and worked pretty good. But I needed a taller boot. The boots are very sharp looking in my opinion. They however felt like they were a full size to big. I order them a half size bigger because I always double up on socks (habit). I have been slowly trying to break them in just not used to the stiffness of this style boot. They are very, very warm no need for a second pair of socks. They do need better arch support. But overall a good boot.

A boot above - Living where snow comes down October thru March, just about every day, these boots do the job. Warm, comfortable and roomy. The sole almost eliminates slips n slides and its thickness makes a nice buffer between me and the cold earth. Completely waterproof...it’s a good boot. My only issue: Can be a pain to slip on and of, unlike original Sorels.

A good boot - I bought these boots to shovel Minnesota snow in sub zero temperatures. They rock. My feet stay warm with an athletic sock, and with a woolen boot sock, I can stand outside all day long without any problem whatsoever. Two things though: 1) The Achilles adjustment strap is a piece of fluff that does nothing. It may make the boots look cool, but it does nothing to adjust the fit and gets caught on your pants leg all the time. You'll need a decent pair of scissors and some heavy duty cutters to cut the plastic hardware off and rid yourself of this piece of fashion torment. 2) Another reviewer brought this up and he was correct. There is no loop on the back to pull the boot on with. Now, I've had these boots for over 4 years and have no good basis for complaint. But, the lack of this strap and my deeding to pull them on by the snow sleeve has caused the snow sleeve/boot lining seam to tear. Otherwise, I could easily see them being an 8-10 year boot.

Shoe Monster - I bought these boots for my father; he is notorious for putting a shoe to the ultimate test. He will be using these boots for his outside work and also for just tromping through the snow. He said that they feel very light in weight and it is a good looking boot. Well Sorel I hope you can hold your own against the Shoe Monster! I will update you as he breaks them in...

Great boot/little break-in - I bought this boot specifically for wet and cold. I was not disappointed. In the first week I took it to the snow and my feet were comfortable the whole day. As far as comfort and fit, I normally wear an 8.5 in a tennis shoe, but I bought a size 9 in the boot. I wanted to be able to wear a wool sock without the boot being too snug. I was right, a half size larger did the trick. The boot was a little uncomfortable for the first couple hours, but broke in nicely. I would definitely buy this boot again. Zappos.com is great. The customer service person that I talked to was very helpful and a pleasure to business with. I highly recommend Zappos.

Good multipurpose boot - I had been searching for a multipurpose boot that I could wear all weekend for multiple activities during the coldest winter months. Living in North Dakota, waterproofing and insulation are a must. After reading all the reviews, these seemed a good choice. Now that I have them, I must say they are nice boots. They are bulkier than anticipated, but hopefully that will provide warmth. The only other negative is the lack of a speed lacing system. The eyelets at the top are just that, which means they require a little time to get snug. But once on they are fit well and should be suitable for hunting, etc.

3 yrs and like new - Nice winter boot, easy on and off. Went into local boot store the other day and the guy asked me if they were new boots. This is the third winter with these. Lot's of outdoor use and early morning snow removal, comfortable and warm, good traction.

Sorel Conquest is a very nice option for a Pac boot - I found them very comfortable and ordering a 1/2 size larger allows for heavier socks and yet is very comfortable with thinner socks. I am normally not a Pac person, yet the Conquest is a pleasant exception to this case. Highly recommended to all. Does not have a typical clumsy feel of regular Pac’s.

I've had my Conquest boots for about 15yrs. they've broken in so comfortably! This year, pulled them out of the closet for the first time, strapped them up, and went out. When I got home, I noticed the lower rubber area on one boot had cracked. When I pulled them off, the whole sole almost came off. I guess good things can't last forever! Wish they could be resoled!

Great boots. The size seems to be slightly small. I have always been a 9.5. but they are very warm.
