I was originally going to get the Pivoter backpack but I kept searching for more options and suggestions and was then swayed to buy this one and I can't stop oogling at it. Love every aspect of it since it's able to hold my laptop, kindle, and my many notebooks. Since I'm an addict for color coding I tend to carry 15+ pens/pencils so I use every compartment for them, that's my only issue. Also great detail is the key clip inside one of the smaller pockets so I don't lose my bike lock keys.

The Jester backpack is a very durable and versatile product. It works great for school and everyday use. The laptop sleeve and padded straps are beneficial features.

I had to change my old NorthFace backpack for a lighter one when I started having a longer commute. I liked the Jester because it was pretty lightweight. After 3 days of using it I lost my Contigo water bottle.I then noticed that it was due to the huge side pockets that according to NorthFace customer support these are made to retain 32oz bottles. Just crazy! Side pockets are not made well, the elastic is not strong enough to hold a normal size water bottle. I'm now using 2 hooks to lock the new water bottle to the backpack, very inconvenient.

Let me start by saying that I was so upset when my Heckler backpack that I have had since college grew mold and I had to throw it out. I I trust TNF, so naturally I looked on their website for a replacement. After, days of pondering over my decision, I decided to purchase the Jester in black since I wear black pretty much all the time. It serves its purpose as a backpack. It is light and black, Overall, a decent backpack.

I loved the look and style of these backpacks. However, when mine came in the mail, the organizer panel was in the main compartment facing the laptop sleeve. So if you are to unzip that part all the way, everything will fall out of the slots. And it is completely backwards from the pictures shown on this website. I called NF and they sent me a new one. The new one was the same way. After doing further internet research, it seems like that is how the Jester is made now. I don't know if it's intentional or a mistake, but either way, it's WRONG! The organizer panel should not be in the main compartment! Suppose you have a bulky jacket or sweatshirt in the main compartment. You yank it out and along comes your pens, flashlight and phone that are stashed in those upright slots.

This was a gift for my girlfriend and she loves it! I would buy one for me if I had the extra money! It's a great all around backpack

I received my backpack very quickly so I'm able to use it on my upcoming trip. The backpack is perfect for my use. Holds my laptop, iPad, nook, and all other items I want with me on the plane.

This backpack is perfect for school. I was able to fit my laptop and a couple of textbooks comfortably. The inside pockets are very useful to organize my smaller items. Another feature I loved was how comfortable it was to wear. I walk around campus all day with heavy textbook and didn't feel a strain.

QUALITY PRODUCTS

I'm currently a university student in Miami and this backpack keeps me comfortable even in the hottest South Florida sun. It's sooo comfortable and honestly does not feel heavily pressed against my back when it's super hot and gross out (which is great because less sweat while walking to class is always good). I'm overall extremely happy with the comfort, light weight, breathability and pockets inside the Jester and would for sure recommend it!

My second north face backpack. Definitely durable, although I did not like how it fit. It also looks bigger then the space it actually has to carry

I bought this backpack as a gift for my sister and she loved it. It is really comfortable and light. Overall it's a great product and o would truly recommend it.

I needed a different backpack that didn't hurt my back from using it all day. This backpack does a great job of holding my laptop, books, snacks, or whatever without hurting my back!

I use this everyday for school purposes. It does a great job with the multiple compartments because I am able to store multiple things. I do just wish there was a little bit more space inside the backpack to load more books.

Great durability and quality but a little small for as many texts books as I have to carry around for school. But with all that weight in there it carries well and is easy on my back.

I bought this as a gift and he uses the backpack to go to school, work, the gym, and anything in between. He uses the bag everyday.

This was my first North Face purchase and I am very happy with this item! It holds my three notebooks, binder, and laptop that I use for school and has multiple inside pockets for small item organization. The padding on the back and the straps makes it very comfortable!

I absolutely Love it. Use it for college It is the best backpack for my back Although its a little small it's better for my back than any other I've used. comfortable on my back when on my bike or long walks with books

I use this for school every day. I comfortably carry 5 - 6 books, a 15" MacBook Pro, and supplies. Seems pretty darned stout, and it's very comfortable to wear.

This backpack is great ! So lightweight and so much storage. Definitely would reccomend.

Took this backpack to Colorado and hiked and skied with it. Love the colors.
