I was looking for a good school backpack that would fit a binder and a laptop (I do not carry textbooks to school just because they are way too heavy). This one can fit a lot of stuff in, has good padding, and a bunch of pockets. Even so, I had 2 major problems with it, and I am planning on returning it 1) I am a petite girl (~5 feet tall), and this backpack does NOT fit me at all. Basically, all the weight pulls on my shoulders because my back does not touch the backpack at all (this is most probably because of my height). No matter how much I longer/shorter I make it, it does not fit. 2) Some of my school stuff (planner, pencil bag, calculator, etc.) is of smaller size, but not so tiny that it can fit into the small pockets. The pocket that is in the front of the backpack is too deep. Overall, the backpack is too long for me. I am really hoping that Northface will restock their rhyolite backpacks (hopefully, those ones are smaller, and can fir my petite frame).

I am a college student and my Mom bought me this...I love it! It works so well for me..I walk all over campus and carry several books & my laptop in it...I can't even tell I have that big of a load on my back..love, love, love it!! And the colors are awesome! Thanks North Face for a great product..

I use this backpack for school and for trips I make during the weekends. As a student I tend to carry many things, from notebooks, laptop, lunch pail, you name it. Everything seems to fit perfectly, to the tiniest of things!

My daughter wants this backpack for her 18th birthday on February 19th. So I ordered it, got it right away. She will be excited to get this backpack. She loves North Face products.

Light traveling

Very comfortable and light weight. Very simple to organize and durable. This back pack has been with me for about half a year and it is in perfect condition like new. I continue looking forward to north face backpacks. I don't regret this but.

I use this backpack for school everyday. It is very comfortable and stylish. I love all of the different compartments. It makes finding my items very easy.

This backpack is so comfortable when carrying around all my supplies, books and laptop. Other backpacks left my neck and shoulders very sore, but this backpack is extremely supportive and I no longer have any neck pain. It is perfect for walking long distances around campus!

I had been putting off buying a new backpack for years, so glad I finally gave in and bought a new, North Face backpack

I am a student with a busy class schedule that requires me to have various textbooks, notebooks, and binders. This backpack has plenty of room for me to pack all of my books along with a slot for my laptop. I can't go without my water bottle and this backpack has a spot just for it. It also has another compartment for my planner, pens, pencils, and odds and ends. I absolutely love the colors, fabrics, and textures of this bag. It allows me to easily adjust the back straps and has extra padding on the back and shoulder straps to provide extra comfort. I'm really appreciative of this when I have to walk across campus to class. I received tons of compliments from this backpack and I'm so happy with it. It's durable, aesthetically pleasing, and provides me with room for all of my belongings. Definitely worth purchasing if you're looking for a great backpack!

This is honestly an amazing backpack, especially for a college student. It fits a lot of notebooks including my laptop and also has a laptop holding part inside. I live in the east coast where it rains and snows a lot and this backpack is perfect for this weather as well. Amazing!

Got it for my girlfriend for college, and she loves it! Looks way cuter than most backpacks and is still insanely functional! Lots of pockets, padded laptop sleeve built in, and even a whistle on the strap for safety!!

I'm so happy that I decided to get this product. It fits all of the things I need for school perfectly and was very excited with how it looks when I wear it. Before, my back ached after walking around school all day with my heavy load. Now, I still have the same amount of books, but because of the design of this backpack, it lifts the load of my shoulders and back. Also, the color matched the online image perfectly! I would definitely recomend this to others and my friends at school love their Jester backpacks too! The only thing I don't necessarily like is the size of the water bottle pockets on the sides because I use a larger water bottle. It still fits, but I have to squeeze it in.
