I use this backpack for literally everything. I've used it for travel and it has so much room to it. I've also used it for bringing gear with me to an interview, hiking, work and for school. I love the laptop sleeve and how big the side pockets are to fit my hydro flask. Awsome backpack.

After 8 years with one north face backpack I opted for a second. This one is slightly smaller than expected but quality nonetheless. I've had it for almost a month now and no issues.

I use the product for light travel and as a day pack, it's very handy for such things.

Perfect for travel. Plenty of space and very secure. Stiches and zippers are robust.

This bagpack has been amazing and its price is also very competitive compared to backpacks of similar quality. I can fit my 15.6 inch laptop easily. Although its capacity it 29L, since it has a long design, it is particularly suitable for large laptops (such as 15.6 inch ones) I recommend it over to Patagonia's 30L Chacabuco backpack which could hardly fit my laptop. The navy blue color is gorgeous.

Use it for fieldwork and it fits my 13" MacBook Pro. Plenty of pockets for storage and organizing items.

this backpack is so so nice! i've had it for about a week now and i'm absolutely loving it; it's comfortable, compact, and looks nice too! i was a little cautious about the size after reading some reviews, but i think it's not too bad! it's definitely on the small side compared to the bigger jansport backpacks, but it's SO MUCH BETTER! i'm a high school student and i can fit all my books and lunch and extra things in there. the straps are adjustable and the padding on the back is very comfortable. overall, i highly recommend this backpack and hope to use it for many years!

I wish I could give this bag more than 5 stars, the perfect college backpack. I have taken my mom and friends through the pocket tour of this bag - it is so practical but still really sleek and attractive. I really pack this bag full of stuff while I'm school and the straps and design make it comfortable no matter how full it is. I also plan to use it when I go on a bunch of long-haul flights over the summer and I'm excited for how organised my stuff will stay in my bag with all the handy pockets. I'm so obsessed with this bag that everyone I know is sick of hearing about it!

I have a jansport backpack that Ive been using for a while but it was getting to be too small and couldnt fit all my books so I bought this backpack and it claims to hold 26L but it is even smaller than the backpack I had before. It seems like a really nice backpack but if youre going to be carrying multiple textbooks around this backpack might not be right for you.

Used this backpack for college commuting and loved it until the zipper separated from the fabric and could not be closed. This occurred only 1year after receiving it as a gift. Warranty does cover it but they are 6-8 weeks behind in getting things back to you, 4 weeks behind in determining if it can be fixed or needs to be replaced. Not very convenient with 10 weeks of school remaining.

Not only is it nice and durable and fits my 10 year old perfectly with lots of room to grow, IT HAS A WHISTLE BUILT INTO THE STERNUM STRAP!!! We just noticed it and had to review that. Has to be the best feature yet.

One of the straps stretched out and now the other one can't so I can't make them even. This makes it very uncomfortable to carry around.

Are you an avid traveler, frequent visitor of the outdoors, athletic trainer/trainee, or student? If you have identified with a group listed above, then the North Face Jester Backpack is the perfect bag for you! As a student I struggled to find the perfect backpack which would withstand the stress test of an eventful daily routine. The bag I sought after, what would be ideal for a myriad of individuals like myself, would be: 1. Comfortable 2. Durable 3. Multifaceted 4. Voguish All of the characteristics of the ideal backpack were satisfied over time as I put the new North Face Jester Backpack to the test. As a student I am constantly tasked to carry around a personal computer alongside books which can be discomforting on the back and shoulders after walking for long periods of time. However, padding instilled within the straps of the North face Jester Backpack and new flex-vent back support technology provides extreme comfort to both the shoulders and the back. Which is perfect for those want to use this backpack for school or outdoor activity. In addition to the comfort of The Jester Backpack, it's durability and style is commendable. Usually when it comes to backpacks you encounter opportunity cost, trading style over durability and vice versa. I usually find it hard to source a backpack that's capable of having both. The bags' simplistic design and color scheme is one that fits various personalities. There are 13 different colors to choose from that range from neutral to vibrant colors. So, you're ensured to find a color selection that complements your style. With that being said the quality of the backpack sets industry standards. The material selection meets the needs of durability as the backpack is able to withhold itself after being tarnished through a series of events time after time. However, an additional compartment to the backpack would be ideal. As organization can become a hectic task when trying keep to items separated, although the bag is ve

I've used this backpack as a high schooler for the past two years. I love the color, and the way it looks. Only down fall is that it does not hold all of my stuff and it always tips over!

I've had this backpack for the past 3 years and it looks nice but it does not hold enough. When you put too much in it, it looks very bulky and feels heavy on your shoulders. One of my friends has the Borealis backpack which does not have this issue and she puts more things than me in my bag. I would recommend this for light use but not if you have too many textbooks.

This thing is like another appendage to me, I never leave my dorm without it. It seems small but can actually hold quite a bit. I like it even more because it has a sleeker profile on the back instead of a large protrusion like most bags. The outside material is really durable and the straps are very sturdy, I beat it to hell on a daily basis and it takes it like a champ. There are a few cons I must say: The inner liner is not as strong as i hoped it would be, and feels cheap. The water bottle holsters are wack, as well, and can't accommodate larger bottles.
