I use this product for school (college) carrying many textbooks, computer, iPad and much more. It'a comfortable and makes it easy to carry a whole lot of stuff. The colors are just as I wanted them.. no disappointments here.

I use the product for school, it's perfect and has enough storage. There's nothing really that's not great about it.

This is an amazing backpack that I use for all my daily and travel needs. It securely holds my 15 inch laptop and the internal cushioning of the laptop sleeve is really great quality. There are many different pockets and pouches that keep my items organized and easily obtainable. This is my 2nd North Face Recon purchase and I highly recommend this bag to any student, officer worker, or traveler!

I LOVE IT!

Used everyday for school. My school no longer provides lockers so this bag is used to carry 35+ lbs every day. The padded support makes transporting my books and laptop around. Design upgrade and colors are beautriful and will be used for many years to come.

I would definitely buy another one!

I've owned several of these backpacks and my only complaint is that the bottle holder rips away from the elastic after a while. It's unfortunate because the rest of the backpack is still in really good condition, but I can't use it anymore because I absolutely use the bottle holder every day.

I love this backpack! It has tons of compartments for all my stuff like makeup , pens, phone and electonics. We took this pack to Italy twice. It is big enough to hold all of my stuff and comfortable to wear all day!

I used the all black backpack for school and I loved it. It fit all my book and it had good support and the backpack didn't feel like I was carrying a lot even though i was. I could have definitely used this backpack again this year for school because it's in really good shape and the color did not fade at all and I even sometimes left it in the sun, but I decided to get a new backpack for school same backpack just different color. I will be using the black backpack for a personal bag when I go on planes!

Purchased it for my daughter to use for school. She loves all the pockets and storage. It has a spot for everything!

I bought the bag because everybody was saying that theres so much space, but I'm a university student and can barely fit anything in the bag... My one textbook and binder has pretty much taken up the whole bag ... There's also not enough pockets

I use it for travel and it works great.

I use this backpack for travel between all my college classes. It has the perfect amount of space for all my books, binders, notebooks, and materials I use throughout my day. It also functions well on the trails as I do day hikes often, it's super durable and rather water resistant as well.

I bought this pack for travel but I'm using it daily to haul a laptop, iPad, and accessories. I love the separate laptop sleeve - keeps my laptop clean and easily accessible with a dedicated sleeve of it's own. The pocket design is well thought out - everything feels so accessible. One of my biggest frustrations with any backpack, luggage, etc, is that it's so hard to find stuff in it. This pack has everything compartmentalized perfectly for my application. It's also very comfortable to wear - the padding is vented and substantial. Favorite surprise was the pocket dedicated for sunglasses (at least that's what I use it for). This particular pocket is lined with a very soft fleece (or similar fabric). I wouldn't change anything about this pack for myself - but I suspect that my wife would complain that it doesn't hold enough stuff for her. If you're looking for something that will haul everything under the sun including the kitchen sink - this pack isn't it. But if you want a purpose-built pack with dedicated pockets that are easily accessible that's also comfortable to wear...then this is the one.

Large enough to fit all my husbands hunting gear including his folding stool!

i use this backpack for school i bought my first recon 5 years ago and loved it so when i purchased my new one i thought it would be the same style and size but they have made it much smaller

Fits all of my school things (which is a lot) and is not too heavy. Perfect for school or travel. Computer pocket is perfect and protective.
