This backpack is like, the sickest piece of equipment I've ever owned, and I've owned a lot of sick equipment. It's super durable and no matter how much stuff I pack it with, it's not all obnoxious and lumpy against my back and it all fits really nicely. Which is great, because I pack it with a lot of stuff. The laptop pocket is A+++++ and keeps it snug and secure and also keeps it from getting crushed with all the other random stuff I put in there, and the little pockets for chargers are wonderfully convenient and the greatest thing since Betty White, though Betty White's probably greater because she's Betty White. Anyway, the backpack rocks. The neon green against the grey is gorgeous and a really great metaphor for trying to find yourself. Everyone wants to stand out, and nowadays there's so much monotony in a school of stodgy fish. They grey is the fish, and I am the green, trying to peek out among such, and when you open the pack, you find the inside bright emerald like a beautiful jewel waiting to be discovered and break the mold. The backpack and I are one. Point being, it holds my stuff (which is great because my other one ripped and this one definitely won't be doing that any time soon) and is durable and compatible with my inner being. Rock on, you glorious people.

I recently bought this backpack for college and I'm absolute in love! It fits all my necessities. I have taken this backpack with me when I travel and when I go on hikes and it's honestly so comfortable. I would definitely recommend this to a friend!

Very durable. Soft inside with a lot of room for books and school supplies. Fits my 15' laptop and I feel like it's safe in the bag. Definitely recommend this backpack

I love love this book bag I got it for college there is so much room and it's very comfortable especially waking around campus I love the new cushioning on the back makes carrying it so much easier to handle and I absolutely love the color overall I'm so happy I got this backpack.

I have had many north face backpacks in the past and this has to be one of my favorites. I love the mesh pocket in the front because it is so large. Also, the lining of the little pocket and some of the others are SO soft. I love the fleece that they used. It has protected my phone and iPad very well. Overall, this is a great backpack that has protected my expensive electronics. It is without a doubt worth the buy.

Awesome all around backpack. Thanks again North Face! Perfect pack for those weekend adventures, or throw it on for the more extreme adventures on my sled or the dirt bike. I have never found a backpack that holds up as well as your North Face equipment and coats.

I am proud of my decision in buying this backpack. I love the color and shape. It is beautifully and thoughtfully designed. It has a lot of padding which makes it comfortable to wear.

I got the Women's Recon Backpack in the Asphault Grey/Mint green. I LOVE it!! All the compartments are very handy. I use this backpack for college and I couldn't have bought a better backpack! It holds my laptop very nice! I never have to worry if my laptop is going to get damaged. It also holds my school work/books very well! Not to mention the comfortable straps and the way it fits! You can definitely tell it was made with a Women's body type in mind! I have had many different brands of backpacks but this is by far the best!! I tend to by from North Face from now on.

I ordered this backpack for college and whenever I got it delievered, I was so excited to get open it and put everything inside. It has so many pockets and room for my laptop, books, water bottles, and anything else I may need!

I absolutely love my Northface recon styled backpack! It has great support and fits my laptop perfectly. Even on a hot day, my back doesn't sweat it's amazing! I definitely recommend it if you are looking for a durable book sack for school and for hiking!

This back pack is one of the best things I've owned, it's helped me travel with a bag I can rely on, I have never been disappointed with nay of my current Borth Face gear, and I am really excited to put this into use as I further my education and I use it to travel over spin with my family! Your crazy not to have a Northface bag or any of their gear!

I wanted something that would provide enough storage and space to place my things for classes. This is perfect!! It's very durable, even with textbooks and electronics being carried all over the place. I'm not having to choose what to put in there, because there is room for it all. Despite the weight of items in the bag, it's extremely comfortable to wear around campus while walking to classes. Makes life much easier for myself. Northface has done it again. I can see this bag lasting a long time. Definitely worth the investment!

best backpack ever i love them so much. there is nothing this backpack can't hold i mean this thing can hold up to fifty pounds and it is the best for school i used this for three years in middle school and i think that in can last at least seven more years and i recommend this back pack ten out of ten five stars

I'm a "theatre kid" and this backpack can hold all my school stuff (three binders, 2 textbooks, and lots of notebooks) plus my script and all the rehearsal essentials. I love this backpack!!!!

I had a North Face Backpack all throughout High School and I could honestly still be using it for College. Now you might be asking "well if you could still be using it why buy another one?" well curious reader, I thought it would be appropriate to get a more "usable" color. My old backpack is brown, pink and purple while my new sophisticated backpack is all black and I think its the best decision I've made all year. This backpack has TONS of space, more than I could ever imagine. It feels even more durable than my old one which is so nice. I would recommend this backpack for anyone, school related or not, it's worth the money.

I bought this backpack to carry my laptop and all other technology back and forth to work. Love the fact that it has 2 separate padded compartments for a laptop and tablet - great for an iPad and laptop! Both compartments have plenty of space for peripheral devices and chargers.The 2 side pockets are perfect for carrying enough water to get you through the day. The back area is great for tossing items that you need to secure and still easily reach with one arm - example - car keys! Incredibly comfortable when fully packed and the shoulder straps don't leave your fresh pressed button down full of creases! Seems like it would be perfect for a day hike in the mountains too . . . ah, one can dream! :)

I've used this pack for 14 years! It lasted all through college as well as many hiking and camping trips. It is also perfect for a short vacation to hold all my gear and keep it organized. I love the ergonomics and durability. I was heartbroken when some of the material inside the pack started to breakdown but the warrantee service was impeccable and I've received my new pack within days! I look forward to putting the new model through its paces! Thanks
