I bought this to use in college, and I love the padding in the back and all of the different pockets! Great backpack overall.

I love my Recon backpack, it serves me a lot of purpose, I am triathlete so I use it a lot, during training, or use as a transition bag during the race, it is very slick and stylish but yet durable

Going into year 3 of college as a Marketing Major, I knew I needed the perfect backpack. I also knew I needed to get away from my hot pink and flimsy back back that was lets just say for junior high. I found myself carrying a backback and books in my hands which is a no when you have to walk across campus. I am also a Colleg softball player and while traveling every weekend and having to carry my laptop on the road, I was thrilled when I noticed my new North Face backpack had a place on the back with tons of padding to protect my laptop. I am always getting complements when carrying my North Face backpack and is hasn't even been a month since recievinf it! Thank you North face! Junior year, here I come!

I did a lot of research before my purchase, because a good backpack ain't cheap! I love this backpack. It is just what I wanted. it fits well and hold a lot of stuff, and that's the goal. I recommend it!

Great looking backpack to start college. Excited to put this into use! It's a great size and the lined pockets were a great touch!

The Recon backpack is a great example of where comfort meets utility. I've now used this pack on multiple hikes up mountains in Utah and Switzerland, storing everything from my camera to camping gear efficiently. As well, when traveling, this has been my go to carry on as it has padded sleeves to fit my laptop and kindle. Great pack!

Exactly what I was looking for...

I am a rising Junior in High School. I had an older version of the Recon before purchasing this one, and it was so great my older brother who is a Senior in College stole it! Before purchasing it I wanted to know how many thing it could fit, so for you high schoolers out there : the recon fits 2 one inch binders, 5 one subject notebooks, 1 three subject notebook, and 6 folders in JUST the main pocket. In the organizational pocket, I carry my agenda, calculator and pencil case, as well as a few doo-dads for school. I love this bag and recommend it to any student!

This bag wont disappoint! It is beautiful, and the grey part is more detailed / patterned than the camera captures online - really nice - my daughter loves it! The pink is a unique raspberry / fushia berry color too! Overall we are very pleased.

I'm a college student and had my last north face backpack for 8 years. Starting grad school, I thought it was time for a new one so I invested in this backpack. It's working great so far and has a great compartment to protect my laptop. I love it!

Love this bookbag! So many pockets, comfortable straps for my daughter's shoulders, and very cute style. Of course NF brand is very popular too

My daughter has loved her recon this year for High School. It is perfect for all of her heavy books and is comfortable on her shoulders. She loves the space it has and also loves the color she chose. Great decision going with this one this year!!

the backpack is in great condition and working properly. although I didn't think the color matched perfectly with the description online. I thought I was ordering a white colored backpack with grey zippers and detailing, but I got a more washed out grey color instead of white. I didn't mind because it was not that big of a deal.

I bought this backpack for my grandson for College and he said it was perfect. I also bought one for my son for day pack for hiking and mountain climbing. Excellent

We ordered this backpack for our daughter. Great quality and plenty of room for books and laptop. She has had a recon previously and had good results. She carried it to school for 2 years with no problems...just wanted new look. Confident this pack will hold up as well as the previous one.

I bought this bag for myself for my school backpack and it's great! Not only do the compartments make it super easy to carry all my school supplies and keep them organized, but it's also super cute! Over all I'm extremely happy with my purchase and I definitely recommend this bag. However if you're planning to buy this bag for long term use, I might suggest a more neutral color because I'm kindof tired of the color I picked out and may buy a new one in a more simple color/pattern.

This backpack is super spacious with a ton of compartments for your items as well as soft compartments for your electronics!great cushioning!

The Recon is a such wonderful product! I love all of the different compartments in the backpack so that I can put everything I need in it in an organized manner. This backpack is great for outdoor activities but it's also helpful for daily use!

This backpack is amazing! It has plenty of room for everything and then some! It has a place for your laptop, tablet, and smart phone which is awesome! I love it!
