Use it for school. Love it! I would recommend this backpack to all of my friends.

This backpack is amazing bottom line. It has so much room for all of my school stuff I need. The laptop case is alittle small but it works great for my school ipad.

I just started nursing school and needed a backpack that could carry all of my books and that would last. I ordered it in surf green, and I absolutely love the color! I also love the protected compartments for your phone, computer, etc.

Comfort was great, never sweated along back area, pockets were just the correct size and easy to manage. Bought this for traveling to San Francisco and knew it would need to carry jackets, DSLR Camera, reading glasses and more. It was fantastic. Worked great as a carry on for the plane, took on bicycle ride, Segway Ride and everywhere I when. Strongly recommend buy the North Face Recon Backpack.

I bought this backpack for college and my trip abroad in the coming months and so far it's been great! It fits all of my textbooks for the semester (not that I will be carrying them all at once) and there's still lots of wiggle room for more things! The backpack initially felt a little heavy when holding it in my hand, but after putting it on my back I couldn't really feel the weight at all, which is great. The back support is also excellent, so much better than my last backpack (not from TNF). The organizational pockets are great for all my school accessories. It also fits my 15" laptop perfectly and I'm so excited to use it during school while trekking around the campus!

Love the new colors and the quality. Size is just right for high school students.

I use the Recon Backpack at High School. I am a 10th grade student, and have @25lbs of books to carry. The Recon is comfortable, and it makes my heavy load easier to transport from one class to another and home again.

This backpack has excellent storage space for a laptop, hand held electronics, even books and school supplies. The backpack is not oversized, although it can hold all your necessities. It is perfect for traveling around campus and the waterproof exterior is useful on those rainy days. It comes in awesome colors too!

I used my ReconPack for my climbing and hiking adventures. The pack is lightweight but strong, it also allowed me to stuff a lot of thing in the pack, including a gallon of water, without sacrificing comfort.

My Recon Backpack gives me the most comfort and efficiency, whether I'm traveling, going to class, or taking a trip to the zoo. Comfort can be cute.

I love this backpack it fits everything I use for school. Also the laptop sleeve is just perfect. The mesh pocket in the front is perfect if you play sports.

I am a college student who has a lot of expensive technology with me at all times of the day. I love how this backpack is tailored to not only laptops, but also e-readers and smartphones. The extra padding on the tech pockets are my favorite. Definitely a great backpack.

This backpack is perfect. I was a little nervous ordering it online but it's great. It's very strong and comfortable. The part for your computer is amazing because it's thick and will keep it safe.

I bought two of these backpacks for my high school students. They are very well made. The fabric and stitching are high quality, both inside and out. There is plenty of room for a laptop and several books/binders. The backpack also has numerous interior and exterior pockets for easy retrieval of items. My kids like the look of the backpacks, and I love them because they will hold up well to daily use!

Well made, quality backpack. I finally found something that won't fall apart in a month. I am looking forward to classes!

This backpack was perfect for my son's transition to middle school. It had the school colors and enough pockets for his needs- works great for small trips too and sports as needed- Yeah!

I ordered this backpack for my girlfriend and when it arrived in the mail I noticed it was a little masculine. I exchanged it for a different color.

Each of our daughters have used The Northface backpacks and we have always been happy with the quality. Now our youngest is attending a school where she is bringing a laptop each day and the room on this backpack is excellent for that purpose.

So far this bag has held up nicely to the daily use of walking to and from campus with a full load of books and notes. The backpack pockets are wider than the last north face bag I had, which makes it easier to pull big books out of. Also, the color is amazing! Really happy with this bag!
