I bought 3 colors of this boot in 2022.
These are great books for regular hiking and working outdoors. I slipped on a wet rock (poor grip), fell and broke my leg and ankle in Boone National Forest July 2024. No fun. I need to find a better boot for wet hiking.

I had 2 pair of those. Very light and comfortable! However not waterproof at all. After approximately one year working in possible wet conditions mine boots just started detaching. Not recommended for longe therm!

I have 2 other timberlands that I order of the same size. The fit is good and not tight. The recent purchase fits tight. I am hoping after wearing them for a while they will stretch. Didn't have to do that for the previous pairs.

It was time to buy a new pair of hiking boots......I have an old pair of work boots that I've used for over 15 years......excellent boot. The new White Ledge Hiking boots are a huge disapointment. The major reason for buying these is: waterproof......they are not! Second pair was the same......and they are going back.

EE fits like D. Nice boot for but not “wide” friendly.

One boot was a tighter fit than the other. It was a wide version. It was the right boot that fit good and it was the left that was too tight. Anyways, I sent them back for a refund.

I loved my first pair so much that when they started to show signs of wear, I bought my second pair, The second pair were half an inch narrower than the first. Way too tight. So now I don't know what size to get.
Customer service wasn't too helpful in figuring out what size to get now.

I ended up returning these shoes. The fit was good and I thought it was a handsome shoe but the the ankles are quite (over) padded and I prefer the thickness to be consistent all the way up. As it was, they felt awkward to me. That said, Zappos is great with service including returns and I would definitely buy from them again as I have in the past.

The quality is great but the comfort level is bad. Run like a 1/2 size smaller and not wider enough.

Pretty disappointed in this boot. They are stylish comfortable and breath well but I purchased mine maybe 4 months ago and they are falling apart.

I used these boots couple days as my duty boots and they already showing some durability issues. The outer part is getting detached from the sole. Looks like there is a thin layer on top of the leather that stayed glued to the sole while the leather part is getting detached from the rest. (Photos)

Have just tried them on at this point, need to start breaking them in on short trail hikes. Seem very stiff out of the box.

This has more or less been "go to" hiking/work boot since about 12 years old as a boy scout. This means I have been wearing this model for about 10 years. I sometimes wear them casually, but most of their usage includes weekend camping/hiking and working outdoors. I am not someone wearing them 5 days a week for 12 hours per day in rough environments. The quality has slowly decreased, but has plummeted with the latest pair. They are less than a year old and both toes are separating from the soles. The soft tongue materials tends to wear down too. This is extremely disappointing as they are comfortable, good for all seasons, and used to last me two or three years. Time to find another model, if not brand.

The insole that comes with the shoe is extremely thin. When I inserted my ortho inserts (which was difficult) I couldn't get my foot in the shoe. I wear a size 10 in my other Timberland shoes and boots, without my ortho inserts the shoes were still too short, the width was okay. Definitely size up and if you use ortho inserts size up a full size.

Loved the look and they appeared to be good quality for price, however I felt a very uncomfortable, raised line in the sole between the heel cup and the forward arch area making them quite uncomfortable. I tried them out in walking around the house, so that if needed they could be returned in new/saleable condition. Really wanted to keep them but they just didn't work for my feet.

Good-looking boot. But the shoe was too tight around the outer lower toe areas. I even tried the EE size (I usually take a medium) but that did not ease the tightness.
