After looking locally, we purchased these boot for a mission trip. Not only did they withstand the week, they were comfortable and cleaned up like a dream. I would definitely order them again.

I took these on a short (2-3 hour) day hike without breaking them in and they were comfortable the whole time. Great fit, support, and waterproof. A little warm - they could breathe better. But overall a good boot.

This was my third pair of these same style and model boots. Up until now I have been very satisfied with them, however this pair, although marked WW are not. I'm very disappointed with them.

Just what I was looking for perfect for hiking and making firewood.

This is my 2nd pair, the first pair, I wore the soles flat, like slick tires! I have had this boot for two years, and only wear it to ride my Harley. I'm in Utah, so its a short riding season. Well, the leather has separated from the sole on the right foot, inside by the ball of the foot. The only time these have maybe gotten wet would be when washing the bike as we get no rain during the summer. I still have a lot of tread on these and still on the original laces. I'm going to have to look for a different style or brand.

Bought these for everyday use in a warehouse environment where I walk around on concrete for 8-10 hours a day. Break-in time was very short and they've held up very well after a year and a half's use. Since I've almost worn the tread off this pair I am planning on getting another set very soon!

I went to five local shoe stores and could not find the style or size shoe that would fit, I got on line and went to Zappos and in two minutes ordered the style and size. I received the shoes in two days. Thanks for the quick service. Tommy Williams y

These boots were very high-quality and I liked them a lot. I decided to return them because they were pretty heavy, though, and often at the end of hiking it just starts to feel like heavier boots are literally dragging me down. But overall, they looked great and were very comfortable.

Got these for my husband when it was snowy and he loves them, finds them super comfortable. He wears a medium width and they fit great.

perfect fit, comfortable, last forever, waterproof, will not disappoint. The color fades with use, could just be the dirt from job sites, becoming one with the leather.

Many reviewers suggested buying a half-size larger, so I did, and it fit well. Definitely runs a little small, but true to width (medium for me). A two mile "urban hike" and it was all broken in, just like that. I then gave this boot a good five day workout in the mountains of Vermont, and it responded well. It is waterproof, has good traction/grip, good ankle support, and is comfortable. Not quite as comfortable as the Columbia boots I normally buy, but good enough. I just wish it had a tad more arch support (so I only gave it 4 stars on comfort). Overall I'm happy with it.

The boots look good and are comfortable enough. I bought these at the end of April (2016) to replace some very worn out Columbia hiking boots that were my primary walking footwear across NYC and through several international trips. The point is, I walk. A lot. As of July 2016, during a week of Scout camp, the Timberlands' upper began separating from the sole up near the front part of the arch. I found out the hard way that this has compromised the waterproofing. It's not bad yet, but it will get worse. While I wasn't specifically looking for waterproof boots, I saw the good reviews of these and decided to take a chance on a different brand. I am nevertheless disappointed that they've failed so quickly.

The boot is being shipped back. True to size but there is nothing wide about the EE-Wide width; snug, too narrow. I don't have a wide foot, I have Morton's Neuroma which calls for a loose fit. It was so snug, if I had a wide foot I wouldn't been able to get my foot in the boot.

Second time I have ordered these particular shoes. My husband love them. Zappos is a great online company and I recommend them to anyone who wants quick courteous service.

Felt true to size, good arch support. I find wearing thick socks makes them more comfortable.

Just recently bought these boots last week! These boots are the most comfortable boots that I have! The style is great! The reason for buying these boots is that I walk around quite a lot, especially in cold weather. Unlike most shoes I wear these ones do not show any scraping at the heel which is great! These are probably the most durable boots I have ever had. I recommend these boots for people who are wanting comfortable footwear and who walk around a lot. Since buying these boots, I have fallen in love with them that I just can't stop wearing as its comfortable. All my life after wearing mostly dress shoes and not enough comfy footwear. I do prefer to wear these boots at the end as I want walk around in something comfortable and durable.

As a farmer in Georgia, I put lots of miles and wear and tear on my work boots. My last Timberland lasted a good year which I consider great since I really work in my work boots!

Your Timberland White Ledge Mid is a great looking boot and I thought I had found the perfect style with that choice, but my feeling was hurt when I found out it did not come in black. Timberland has a large selection of stylish hiking and work boots but a small number in black.

The boots felt snug at first, but "broke in" within a day or two. Comfortable and waterproof. My only complaint, the natural crease between the toe box and where the laces begin rubs across the top on my toes. I wouldn't want to be in the outback with that kind of blistering potential. Good work boots though.

Bought these and another maker's hiking boots, due to my great success with Timberland Euro Hikers years ago...I went through 3 pair of those! This boot was the best of the two I purchased, and after wearing both around the house for a day, I chose these to take to Big Bend Nat'l Park for a week. They proved comfortable and durable and served my purposes very well both in hot afternoon hikes and cool evening/morning walks. I'm confident I'll get years of good use from them.

I love these boots. I own them in black and brown. They are very comfortable and just right width for a W guy. They are waterproof and easy to lace and care for.
