After suffering for over 20 yrs of back pain and taking handfuls of OTC meds for relief--I am cured! These shoes are worth their weight in gold. It took 2hrs to get used to them--then lost 20yrs of back pain. I work in a hospital and am on my feet 11 out of 12 hrs of the day. Earth shoes are back-and-so-is my back!!! Thank you Zappos! I'll be back!!!!! From the space coast........... Happy on my feet!

Very comfortable - I wore Earth shoes in the 70's and was excited to see them on Zappos website. I have Neuroma (swollen nerve) in my right foot and these are the only walking shoes that I can wear without any discomfort. Because of Earth's unique design, they take most of the weight off the ball of the foot. In addition, I haven't had a problem with shin splints and my calf muscles get a great workout while walking!

Good shoe for people with forefoot problems - I've had problems with swelling caused by nerve damage in my forefoot for about 2 years. Since most shoes have a thicker heel I was looking for a shoe that would put less pressure on the ball of my foot and one with plenty of room in the toe area of the shoe. The Earth Energetic K was just what I was looking for. This shoe features plenty of toebox room and the negative heel, while taking a little time to get used to, helps folks like me with forefoot problems. The only thing I would change about this shoe is I wish it had a little better arch support, but there is plenty of room for an orthodic if needed. Overall my feet are happier than they've been in awhile.

Woman ordering men’s - I ordered these in men's because I needed a black sneaker. I usually wear sz 8 in men's and this shoe in 8.5 fits perfectly. It's taken me a while to get used to the feeling of fullness under my forefoot. I have to really focus on rolling my foot from heel to toe; otherwise it feels like I'm just walking on my heels. The sides of the shoe puff out around the E logo. I think that the new all leather style would be sleeker. I love this shoe for foot comfort and body comfort.

Great walking/everything shoe - *Zappos is on point with getting the shoes delivered quickly, they are the source for purchasing shoes* been a fan of Earth shoes for about a year or so now. Earth offers a great product line of shoes that support good posture. Earth's Energetic K is a win. Very comfortable, keeping the feet dry on morning walks through the dew (major bonus). Good overall support for walking a couple miles a day. I wear these shoes everywhere. Very pleased with the product and will continue to support Earth.

Great fit & support. I usually wear New Balance sneakers, but with my rediscovery of Earth shoes I had to try these. I have had back problems for almost 30 years and these shoes help to take some of the pressure off my lower back. I can feel myself standing straighter! Great shoe!

Earthy practicality - Fan of Zappos for a number of years...my work requires that I be on my feet for many hours each day....after reading other reviews and wearing earth shoes in my youth I decided to order them for my weary feet...they are exactly what the doc ordered and the way my feet feel after the end of the day is a comfort and joy...thank you Zappos for coming thru once again!!!

Steady, subtle results - I received good advice on this site, get a 1/2 size bigger. Shoes are awkward at first, but you get used to them as they stretch your calf. Less fatigue after an all day waking venture. Much less back pain, but not eliminated. I swapped out all my shoes for earth shoes. I wish they made a true dress shoe.

Tadpole's Review - A great buy! My feet were hurting every time I went for a long walk or got on the treadmill. The Energetic T fits perfectly and is especially roomy in the metatarsal area. I recently spent 4 days walking all over San Francisco up and down hills and my feet felt great at the end of each day. Buy it, your feet will be happy.

Found them again! I wore Earth Shoes during the 70's, and loved them. Now, I'm 54, and wished to find some to help with my legs, that were injured while racing a motorcycle. Never had used Zappos before, but will again. Going to a local shoes store is great for kids; Zappos does a great job for my needs. The shoes make my legs feel great and I plan to try some different shoes from the web site.

Couldn't be happier - I bought these shoes a few months ago thinking that they wouldn't be my main pair of shoes, but after just a few weeks they were! I wish I had heard of Earth shoes before, because I am completely in love with these! They are ultra comfortable - I can be on my feet 10+ hours a day with these and not have any problems!

Woman in a man's shoe - Because I have bunions and the Earth Energetic does not come in a wide width, I ordered the men's Energetic K. I normally wear a size 8 wide, so ordered a man's 7. Absolutely perfect fit. Loved the shoe from the moment I put it on. This is my first pair of Earth shoes and I have already ordered more. Maybe this review should be under the women's Energetic to guide others with bunions to this perfect alternative.

This purchase completed my transition of all my shoes to Earth Shoes, and I was not disappointed. The Energetic K shoes are very comfortable. I walk about 4 miles three times per week, and I walked my full course with these right out of the box--extremely comfortable. I chose the khaki color and am very pleased. Different Earth Shoe styles fit slightly differently, and these were about in the middle. Some fit quite snugly (Stadium, Street, and Vintage) while others are wide (Fairfield, Orion, and Classic). Earth Shoes take a little getting used to, and the thick sole can make the heel slip if they are not tied snugly enough. I have had no trouble with the Energetic K's slipping.

Wild about Earth shoes - I bought my first pair of Earth shoes around 1970 and have always worn them when they were available. I bought the Energetic K for day hiking in the mountains, and they are great for that purpose. Now if they would just make a backpacking shoe with Gore-Tex, I would have all the shoes I will ever need.

Best shoes ever!!! This is my second pair of Earth's Energetic shoes. I bought my first pair over a year ago when I started walking on the treadmill. I have a knee that I injured years ago and it was giving me some pain wearing a regular pair of athletic shoes. I read an article about how great Earth shoes are for knee and back problems. I put them on the same day I received them; and I admit at first they gave me the feeling I was walking uphill. It only took wearing them that afternoon to get used to them. The next morning I began using while walking on the treadmill. I now do at least two miles a day every day wearing them and have had no knee pain flare ups. Since then, I have purchased at least 8 more pairs of Earth shoes: casual shoes, clogs, and sandals. I love, love, love them. My husband often suffers from back aches. Recently I bought him a pair of Energetics to try. After he began wearing them on the treadmill, I bought him a black pair for daily wear. He has been wearing them for about three weeks now and has not once complained of a back ache. We both recommend Earth shoes to everyone. So, if you are sitting on the fence, wondering about trying a pair do yourself a favor and buy a pair today! With Zappos great service, if you are not happy with them, you can always return them. Frankly, I think you will keep them and love them too!

Energetic--A plus! AS a physician on my feet all day, I have found Earth shoes to be the most comfortable shoes I can wear. I have some arthritic knee problems which are greatly affected by wearing shoes that do not cushion and support. The Earth Kinetics fit my needs when I wear more casual shoes to work, but have really found a place in my casual wardrobe on a leisure basis. I also am on my feet for long times when I am fishing and these shoes do for my feet what regular athletic shoes have never been able to do. Now that the Kinetics are in my wardrobe, I have Earth shoes for dress, casual, and leisure.

Earth Energetic K - Ordered these for my husband because he was having back pain constantly. These shoes helped a great deal. Opened the box when they arrived, my husband put them on instantly and has worn them constantly. Very comfortable. Great to work in when you are on your feet all day. Love Zappos service.

Very Pleased! I have never owned a pair of Earth Shoes so after reading other reviews I figured I would give them a try. I was very pleased with the construction of the shoes. They seem to be of very good quality in materials and workmanship. I bought the brown ones since white and I don't mix, they would be filthy before I got out the front door. I would advise first timers, like me, to get into wearing them gradually as the negative heel will feel strange at first and you legs will let you know it to. I find them to be very comfortable.

The Best Walking Shoe EVER! The very first time I ever wore the Energetic K shoes I purchased through Zappos, I walked the trail around the outer perimeter of Stanley Park. A 10-mile walk, done at a fairly brisk pace with brand new shoes...sounds nuts, huh?! Well, these shoes were made for walking, and because I have had nearly 100% satisfaction with Earth shoes, I went for it. Report: no blisters, or any problems of ANY sort. And they fit perfectly, even though I have a high in-step and fairly wide feet. I LOVE these shoes! The tan color is also a really cool option - much less like a typical sneaker.

Works well for me- I needed a comfortable walking type shoe as I am a Nurse on my feet in a busy Emergency Room for 12 hour long shifts. I had previously used Reeboks walking shoes though recently they started to give me pain and calluses. These Earth Energetic Ks have fit the bill. They are comfortable and supportive to the feet. The negative heel does feel a little different at first, though I was able to wear it for long periods and have no problems getting used to it. I would recommend this shoe for all who spend a lot of time on their feet.

Earth Energetic K- My husband and son are just thrilled with the shoes. My 13 yr. old son has one flat foot and needs good arch support. They hurt him the first day and now he walks great and his posture is better. He does not want another kind of shoe. My husband walks at night and likes the glow so he is seen. He loves the shoes. Thanks again. P.S. the only other thing is the shoes felt a tad small in the width.

Great walking shoes- I just started walking to lose some weight but all my other shoes caused nasty calluses and blisters. I read the reviews for these shoes and decided to give them a try. Very comfortable out of the box, took a day to break them in and when I went out for my first walk this morning, around two miles, my feet felt great. Very light and they just felt great.

Cure for arch pain- The arch support is too high for me. My solution for this dilemma was to take an insole out of an old pair of shoes cut out where the arch support is and put it under the current insole. This modification worked great. These are the only shoes I care to wear now. They really helped with my lower back pain.

The Best Shoe - The shoe feels great. The width and arch support are the best I've had in a long time. One thing people should know is when ordering, order one whole size larger than original shoe size, their made a little short. Other than that, the shoe itself is the greatest.
