This shoe provides terrific support for me at work. Since beginning to wear it, I notice much less pain in my back, legs and feet at the end of the day. Also, I've enjoyed wearing it on my 2-3 mile walks. Great shoe and great service from Zappos!

Love the feel of these sneakers - These shoes were comfortable from the minute I put them on. My feet, knees and back feel much better with these shoes on my feet then being barefoot. The only thing I'm not crazy about is that these shoes make your feet and ankles look very puffy but I can deal with that since they are so comfortable.

Big Apple here I come - We are going to New York City for a week next month-part business part pleasure. And a lot of walking. I have had back surgery, so a comfortable walking shoe is even more important. I'm wearing my Energetics around the house to get used to them, and they are awesome. I'm a pretty good judge of how well a shoe is going to work for me, and these are going to get me to all the museums and people watching with energy to spare. They look very sporty, and the fit is very comfortable. i can wear a low sport sock with them or go sock-less. I prefer a lightweight sock when I'm on my feet a lot. I would recommend these, and other Earth shoes, as well.

Walking! This is a great walking shoe! I'm so glad that Earth finally came out with one!

I have lower back pain and pain in my heel. I walk miles a day for exercise and I couldn't stand the pain anymore. I tried Earth's Energetic sneakers and it took about 3 days until I got used to them and now I can't stop wearing them. My lower back is feeling much better and my heel pain is gone. It did take about a month of wearing them until my heel pain left. The only problem is now I need to get the dress shoes because my feet actually hurt in my other shoes. I'm sure if you try this product you will be very happy.

These are wide looking when you put them on. I do think they are comfy though. I took my regular size 6.5, which I take in most athletic shoes. Zappos did have them to me the next day! I live an hour away from the nearest mall, so I think the service is just outstanding! Saves me gasoline and a lot of driving, LOL... Thanks Zappos!

Priceless - Feels like you put your feet inside couch cushions. They are snug-the arch is right-and they give you calves a great workout. Truly worth the expense.

Earth review - Visually the shoe looks wide. I do wear an 11. Very comfortable after adjusting to the negative heal. A few hours the first day and a little longer each day after that. I have a noticeable improvement in my ankle since I started with the shoes. I will continue to buy Earth shoes.

Great shoes - I took my new Earth's Energetic shoes to my chiropractor for approval before wearing them. She was so impressed she wanted to know where I purchased them - to buy a pair for herself! I am absolutely delighted with the fit, comfort, style and the improvement to my posture. I plan to purchase other styles. My shoes arrived less than 24 hours after purchase, as promised.

Earth Shoe relieves back pain. My Physical Therapist suggested I try this shoe to relieve back pain caused by arthritis and stenosis of the back. I think they help. I can walk linger distances with them, before having to set down to rest my back.

Great shoe for plantar fasciitis sufferers! I bought my Earth shoes as companion walkers to the MBTs I bought from Zappos in December. The MBTs are amazing shoes and up against them, most walking shoes pale in comparison. However, I needed another shoe and did some research online on the Zappos site and found that people with the same foot problems I've had really liked these... and they were right! They are very sturdy, attractive, and easy to wear right out of the box. I just returned from wearing them at an art festival all day and my feet still feel terrific. They cause you to stretch your foot each time you walk, which is great for fasciitis. They are well-cushioned and lightweight. By the way, I have to say I LOVE ZAPPOS! Your customer service policies are the best I've ever seen and I tell all my friends. At the same time I bought the Energetics, I made the mistake of ordering a pair of Mephisto sandals. One walk around the house in these pretty, but painful shoes I knew they had to go back. Great shoes, just not for my feet! It was so easy. I went online and printed out the prepaid UPS label, dropped the package off at the local UPS store, and before I knew it, I had received a credit. Zappos is sponsoring the Las Vegas Marathon in December and my husband is running in the half-marathon. I can't wait to meet some of you Zapp-ites to tell you in person how great the company is. Great for Plantar Fasciitis - I bought another pair of Earth Shoes from Zappos (Fast delivery, btw) and they made such a difference to my plantar fasciitis that I immediately ordered Earth's Energetic. Now I can take step aerobics again without pain. Yay!

Earth Energetic - These shoes have proven to be very comfortable. I particularly wanted comfortable shoes I could wear to work b/c I usually stand/walk for hours. I wore these to work right after buying them.

I'm sold! I'm sold on these shoes. At first wasn't sure if it really made a difference, but after two days of walking in them the difference is huge. I work out a lot and I usually get very tight calves and ankles after a long work out. After walking about 8 miles in these shoes, my calves and ankles feel great! I only wish I ordered them a 1/2 size smaller because they are a little loose and my heel rubs against the back of the shoe.

What have I gotten myself into? Zappos' amazing "less than 24 hours delivery" planted some "wacky, bulky, boats" at my front door. Although, initially, they felt huge- I loved the roomy toe box. Training for the breast cancer 3-Day & having neuropathy pain in my feet, it's been a nightmare finding shoes with the right combination of cushion & stability. FOUND IT! Walked 5 miles 1st morning and 6 miles 1st night! At mile 2: tinges of hip pain. At mile 4: right foot little toe numb. For as big as the toe box looks, for MY feet it's almost narrow at the little toe (a seam). Put my orthotics in (high arch left foot, high arch that collapses slightly on right foot) and PERFECT, absolutely perfect! The negative heel took a couple of miles to adjust to. My calves can tell they've been worked more than usual. My back feels great, my posture great! I tend to walk leaning forward - I'm constantly reminding myself to STRAIGHTEN up, and these shoes make the difference instantly! I'm rambling because I now KNOW that I'll be able to complete the 60 miles of the 3-Day - STANDING!! Now I wonder if I'll ever be able to wear "regular" shoes again.

Posture Adjustment - The back of my legs were sore because of the posture adjustment caused by the negative heel, but the rest of me was less sore because of the posture adjustment.

Comfort and work - I was interested in MBT's but read lots of bad reviews and couldn't afford them anyway. But I heard about these and said, ok, I can try that. I love them. They are the cushiest sneakers I've ever had and I've tried lots of brands (Nike, Reebok, Asics, Etonic, North Face, Champion, Dr. Scholl’s, and a zillion cheapos) because I'm hard to fit. Lots of shoes make my toes numb, I've broken both little toes in the past, and my right foot is a half size smaller than my left. I ordered a half size larger than usual and it seems to have worked fine. Nice width. As for the lowered heel, it was weird when I first put them on and stood up but it's not like I had to learn to walk in them. I started wearing them for long stretches of time right away. When I get out of bed in the mornings, I definitely feel it in my calves for a few minutes but then I'm fine. You definitely get a workout when you're walking uphill (I just got back from the mountains). Dirt doesn't seem to be sticking to them too bad despite being white. I definitely recommend them AND Zappos. This is my second order with them and I had to make an exchange due to size on the first and Zappos is fantastic. Fast and friendly and even helped me with some personal recommendations on the first order (therapeutic shoes for my grandfather).

Energy for me - This is the best shoe for me. I have collapsed arches and these are most comfortable w/o using an arch insert (orthodic).

Earth Energetic - Great shoes! I appreciate the wide footbed, the support and cushioning. I plan to use them for our trip to Europe.

Finally wonderful relief - I am so thrilled to have relief from my terrible foot pain. I had to stop walking (for exercise and health) because I had so much pain. I can now walk for an hour and have NO pain! Thank you so much also for the wonderful service and quick response.

An amazing walking shoe - I love these walking shoes! I have tried MBT shoes which try to achieve many of the same goals, and they were not nearly as good as the Earth Shoes. The one downside is that they are rather bulky and make my feet look enormous. But that's a small price to pay for better posture and a killer workout. For those who think these run wide: please note that Earth Shoes intentionally have a wide toe-box so that you get full spread of your toes. After all, they were invented by a yoga instructor.

My feet are finally healing - WOW - I've had foot pain/spasms for years (ball of foot & big calluses) the kind that wake me up at night consistently...I read about Earth Negative Heal Technology in a catalog & felt I had to try it. Found them on Zappos.com & after 10 days, WOW, I'm sleeping through the night (no foot spasm) and I can feel my feet healing now that the pressure is off the ball of my feet...it took a couple days to get used to new foot alignment and to break in the shoe, but each day benefits were getting more & more detectable. Thank you Earth Shoes & Zappos for healing my feet (my podiatrist never got close).

Best shoe ever! I feel like I have a head start on my workout classes with these shoes. I get a much better workout and they look great as well! I will purchase more Earth shoes very soon and get them for gifts for family!

Awesome!! I'm a nurse - on my feet all day. I wore Earth Shoes back in the day and am very happy to find them again. This is a great shoe!! Now, when at work, at least my feet don't hurt.
