The first pair that I had of these were amazing and lasted quite a long time. The second pair caused all sorts of foot, knee and hip pain. A good pair of Superfeet orthotics fixed the problem. I will not purchase a third pair.

Great work boot: very comfortable right out of the box. Fit was right on. And the sale price was a real bargain.

I am a chef and I have not found a better pair of boots for the kitchen than these. The top quality of these boots is how little I slip in them even when hustling over spilled grease on a tile floor. I find 1 pair lasts me about a year of 70 hours a week abuse.

I have been wearing Timberland Pit Boss's for at least a decade, working in the utility industry. I wear them year round in all weather conditions, 12-16+ hours a day. They have never let me down. I go through about 2 pairs a year. If i have just one complaint, its inconsistency in sizing. I frequently go back and forth between size 11.5W and 12W and have had pairs that fit perfectly in both sizes, and some 11.5's were a bit small, or 12's were a bit big. Odd, but I can deal with it, especially with no hassle returns with Zappos VIP...

After six months of use: Steel in toe very reliable/dependable. Remarkably weather proof. Hardy. Difficult to wear down (from someone who is very hard on shoes). Grip on bottom hardly worn after all these months.

These are well worth the money. They are very comfortable and had no problems with them. I work production so I'm on my feet for more than 8 hours most the day and they are still comfortable. The size of the shoe runs true which is nice and saves the guessing sizes and hoping you got the right pair.

good work boot I go through 2 pairs a year but I am rough on them, tear up the toes. Wish they could come reinforced or a 2nd layer.

I purchased the Timberland PRO 6 Pit Boss Steel Toe and the Timberland PRO TiTAN reg 6 Safety Toe because I was not sure which would fit best - thanks free return shipping! I first tried the Titan, felt comfortable, walked around on the carpet, still very good. Tried on the Pit Boss, my wife said it looked better but my feet said ouch! Tried walking, tried sitting around for a while, painful. I have a standard Size 9M foot, but these really squeezed them. Today I wore the Titan's to a construction site, walked around for about 4 hours and sometimes completely forgot I had on steel-toed boots. Not a bit of pain, felt very comfy.

It took me a long time to find a pair of work boots that were comfortable enough to drive in (I drive a stick shift car and I've gotten blisters right above my heel from using the clutch). These are awesome work boots, a little snug with the steel toes so go a half size larger than your normal size. These boots can conquer anything you need them to.

I don't know what I'm more impressed with - the shoes or the service. I'm a welder and I ordered these shoes for work. I never really liked wearing steel toe boots, but these don't bother me too much. They feel a little narrow, but I probably still have to break them in. But other then that they are a great looking shoe, they feel great, and I ordered them on a Saturday, and got them on Monday. I will be ordering from Zappos all the time from now on.

I've been needing a pair of work boots for "around the house" stuff for a while now. I used to get Red Wing boots but couldn't find a style I liked so I tried this Timberland after seeing it on Zappos. Hands down, best work boots I've bought. Very comfortable, easy to get on and off, and I can wear them to dinner in a pinch (for now anyway) if I have to. Very satisfied with them.

I purchased these boots because of a previous purchase of Timberland steel toed shoes, the most comfortable shoes I've every worn. I have always had trouble finding a good shoe, until now! I love the shoes so much, I bought these boots! The boots are comfortable and look great too! Very pleased with Zappos and Timberland!

The boot fits good but your feet sweat so bad you should bring a couple pairs of socks. They also fell apart in about 3 months so this boot should be sold at wal*art for 22.00, or if your not a working person and just sit there this will be great for you.

Once broken in, a very comfortable boot. The break in period took about a week. This is mostly for the stiff top cuff at the top of the boot. Very solid feel when walking and the steel toe adds to the weight a little but isn't obvious to visual inspection. Good boot for the money and would buy again.

These are good boots for the money. They are reasonably comfortable and holding up well. A little heavy, but that is somewhat unavoidable in a 6" steel toe boot.

My boyfriend loves these boots! He snowplows in the winter and paves in the summer, and these boots are made to last! Thought he would just wear them for work, but he wears them all the time.

My husband loves these boots, he did say that it hurt his feet and that he got blisters from them at the beginning but that's only normal.

These boots are a great buy. I ordered them for my son and he loves them. He works maintenance and is really hard on his boots and these have held up well. And you have to love the free shipping and returns with Zappos. We live in a rural area so shopping is limited. Zappos beats a two hour drive and not finding what you are looking for, etc.

These are the best work boots ever! After years of Timberland Pros, my husband has gotten these twice in a row, now. Two years apart. As a construction worker, he wears them five days a week or more, 52 weeks a year. Even after two years, with holes worn through to the steel toes, he was still wearing them daily. They break in the first day, with no discomfort, and they protect his feet and ankles, while breathing enough to stay comfortable.

These boots are awesome. My first set lasted almost two years and I wear them every single day. This new pair is even more comfortable than my previous pair. Hopefully these last as long, they are great boots!

Purchased this boot for my brother and he loves them! Says they are comfortable for 'back and forth' walking on the job and versatile enough that he doesn't have to change out of them to run errands, or enjoy happy hour! Great boot. Try them

It's a good work boot but made for small feet. listed as a EE but timberland only makes w so the shoes are to small for me, I have have wide feet go with red wings. Shipping was great and fast returned one pair no problem fast and easy. Gave second pair to my buddy and he loves the very fair price too saved some bucks.

I bought these boots for my son. He's on his feet 10 hours a day working as a welder. He's very happy with them. His last Timberlands lasted 2 years of constant wear.
