We have tried them all and always come back to this boot. My husband has bad feet and finds these shoes to be the most comfortable as they are roomy, cushiony and even with the steel toe, they are very lightweight and study. Highly recommend.

Bought these for husband. He's worked manual labor for 30 plus years. Said these are best, most comfortable boots for anyone that works on their feet. Says liners and cushions are best ever.

What a work boot! I have been wearing work boots for 30+ years and they are the best. The minute I slipped them on I could feel the comfort. They are replacing a pair of Dr. Martens Work Ironbridge boots that I wore for two weeks and returned to Zappos! (Thank you Zappos.) They were a poor fit and felt like Herman Munster shoes - just rock hard and no support. Will these boots last 12 hour days in car dealership? I do not know yet but for comfort and support, yes.

I was seeking a boot that's waterproof and has a steel toe. This is for moderate use in the Pacific Northwest and its rainy winters. This boot looks better than expected. It also has a stiff sole and excellent arch support, so it provides motion control too. That was more than I expected and is very welcome because I have flat feet and wear orthotics. I may well use them for hiking, not just work in the yard and shop.

Nearly as soon as I purchased these boots, the right side developed a squeak whenever my foot would flex. It's annoying to say the least. The soles have also developed cracks where my foot flexes along with cracks in the canvas along the top of the boot where they are stitched to the lace eyelets. Also, after a couple of years one of the laces broke, but that's probably more on me than anything else. All that being said, I would purchase these again because they look good even when they're dirty and they're comfortable enough.

I purchased a pair of these work boots over 9 months ago and they've certainly done a solid job of protection my toes, but they wear out WAY too quickly. My soles have worn out rather quickly and the inner sole has developed holes and rough spots which irritate me feet. Overall these are a decent pair of work boots, but I would recommend going with a better, more expensive pair which will hopefully last you longer.

I was a Diehard boot fan for decades an their quality went out the door. I had always heard good things about Timberlands. They were and are pricey. The main problem I see with reviews are most people post them to early when things are new. I take care of my boots, I do construction yet I don't intentionally abuse them. I try to get one year out of them. This pair only lasted 6 months. The boots ended up falling apart. The strings were the first to go, the rings next and then the soles. As a gift I got the Timberland Pro 6 soft toe and found to be a much better boot.

These are sturdy boots - that I use for farm work - with moderate comfort. Overall, I am a big fan, but I would prefer lace eyelets to hooks at the top. I really like the warm, soft feeling of the liner, and haven't found it too hot even in July. The EE width is true to size, even with the added steel toe.

Purchased for my son. He loves them and says this model is more comfortable than his other Timberland's that don't have a steel toe. Surprising.

Just received these boots yesterday. Slipped them on to try fit, excellent! These boots provide great support and are very comfortable, I haven't even broken them in yet. These are my second pair of Timberland boots, and I would recommend this brand and this boot for anyone. My first pair were your typical 6" Steel toe. Lasted me 3 years before they started talking. I have no doubt the new pair will last just as long. And with little to no break in period these boots are boss!

Just purchased these but as soon as I put them on I could feel such a difference from the cheap steel toe boots I have. Even with dr scholl's gel work inserts my current boots were not even half as comfortable. I wanted to get steel toe shoes thinking they'd be more comfortable but these boots were just as comfortable if not more. I can't speak on durability yet but I imagine you get the classic timberland durability just like all their other boots. Speaking from experience, if you can afford these DO NOT buy a cheaper boot to save money. Invest the money and save your feet.

It's a great boot, gets the job done. There is one con however, it may just be me and the way I wear them but my innersoles are shot. They have worn away in some areas. Again, it may just be the way I wear them.

First thing I would have to say is wow, these Tims rock! I ordered these boots for my work, I do concrete and demolition and these boots really hold up great! This is my first pair of Tim boots and I am very happy with the overall quality and durability of these babies. I was a bit skeptical at first purchasing these boots because I didn't think they would fit my feet well, I take a size 15. I am happy to say that these boots fit very well and feel very comfortable on my feet especially over long periods of time 10 hours plus. If you're looking for a comfortable fitting and durable work boot that will last you years to come and you are on a budget like me look no further. Overall these Timberland pro 6" pit boss steel toe boots are awesome, you get what you pay for.

Incredible service. They must have someone waiting for each individual order to make sure it gets out immediately! I have never ordered from an online vendor and received faster better service. Zappos is the place to go for great prices and great customer service.

I bought these boots for my boyfriend. He had his old Tims for 10 years so it was time for him to get a new pair. I got them for him in a 10 wide and they fit great! He absolutely loved them!

Boots were a Christmas gift for my son. Timberland are the boots of his choice. The fit is always right on for him since he has a wide foot and high instep. He never has any completes with the Timberland brand. High quality. comfort and good wear.

My son wanted a pair of work boots for Christmas. Found this style online and thought he would love these vs. the traditional look you see in the store. I scored big, he loves them. He wears a 9.5 and I ordered a 10 thinking he would have some growing room, but they were way to big and sloppy feeling. Went with the 9.5. They fit great with some wingle room in them.

I replaced my previous (non steel-toe) Timberland work boots with these ones. What can I say? The originals lasted four years of hard use and only needed to be replaced because the soles had finally collapsed. After the break-in period these are just as comfortable although somewhat heavier with the steel toe. The first couple of days, I noticed some calf soreness due to this but my legs soon adapted. As with the initial pair, I normally wear a 10½ but the Timberland 9½ seems to be a closer fit.

Wow, after reading reviews, figured this was a no brainer. I was severely disappointed. These boots were just flat out uncomfortable. There is a seam down the middle back of heel of boot and the tongue would just not stay straight. The boot is stylish, the fit was dead on (oh, by the way, with the steel toes...order the wide) and looks very well made but the inside...where it counts just seems like they forgot about it.

Very comfortable boot. Never need to hurry them off at the end of a long day. Even at 2.5 lbs a piece I barely even know I'm wearing them. Normally I am a 14 but the 13wide was much more comfortable and fitting.

The problem with buying over the internet is always sizing. 7.5 felt about right, I normally wear an 8 to 8.5 in nike sneakers. These boots are a wide width to start with. I have flat feet and sometimes shoes can feel tight, but these boots are wider than a normal shoe. Enough breathing room on there own. Timberland gives you room enough in the Mediums in my opinion. Unless you have really wide feet than I say just go with the regular mediums they'll probably be best. You may want to go a size smaller in length of boots but everyone is different and every manufacturer is different.

I had top hook rip out after first month and insole wore out very quickly. Also after five months stitching is coming apart making nice length holes. Support doesn't last long for my feet in these I end up using extra insoles to help out. I have had many soft toe versions in the past that I loved. But the steel toes just aren't holding up like I was hoping. May need to expand my options of a different boot.

Everything plus what I was expecting. Fit perfect, weight just right considering steel toes, oil resistant soles, etc. Not my first pair of Timberline. Others wore very well & lasted longer than expected.
