I have been wearing the Pro Series Timberland line for years, this is the first time I have negative feedback. I wore the boots for 2 days, these boots caused blisters on the heels of both feet in the same spot. After the blisters occurred i investigated the design. i found that there is an awful placement of a seam right on the back of the heal that was rubbing. Overall a bad design on the interior of the boot.

This is my second pair as I use them in a heavy repair truck shop. They last a very long time. And very comfortable.

I used these for 2 days and they got awful stains. Used leather boot polish and they got ruined. Very dissatisfied. Would love a refund or a replacement pair for around the house

These boots felt like what I imagine having leg cuffs on feels like. Thumbs down. Very surprised because the pro series is usually a comfy boot.

Two weeks in, good quality, progressive sole when walking(rolls forward well-easy on the legs and feet to push off) very stable, shock absorption is good, not the soft floating on air feeling I was hoping for but not too far off. They are light considering they do look a little clunky with the thick sole and high toe box (can't say I've noticed any increase in room in toe box though) Obviously, as it is with every shoe, ever, arch support is pathetic I think manufacturers put the little bump in the arch area for aesthetics. So I put arch supports in them from day three. I'm a machinist so I stand a lot for hours on concrete and overall I'm happy with these boots.

I bought these as work boots. There is a lot to like about them, but I had 2 problems the first time I wore them. Maybe I just got a bad pair. The shoelace goes through 3 pairs of holes then a pair of loops then 2 pairs of hooks at the top. The first day of wearing them, one of the loops pulled out from where it was attached. I can wear it, but have to skip the loops when lacing it up and it doesn't match the other shoe. The second problem is that part of the rubber or plastic sole was not cut off properly. Inside the right boot there is an edge that is about 1/16" wide and 3" long that presses into the outside edge of the sole of my foot. It is very uncomfortable. It isn't an issue of not having the right size...they fit great otherwise. I think I can have a cobbler fix both problems, but you wouldn't think you would have to have a brand new pair of shoes repaired. By the time the shoelace loop broke and I realized the issue with the sole in one of them, I had used them for half a day and they were covered in mud and I didn't feel like I could return them. Otherwise I really like them. Solid construction, comfortable, good looking. I think once I have the problems fixed, they will serve me well for a long time.

I wear Pit Boss boots daily. I am a woman who has been buying Pit boss men's boots for 10 years. I discovered Timberland at a higher end department store while looking for a better quality boot than the lesser quality ladies boots I had been purchasing. Since my life revolves around contractor work and a home farm, boots are essential. I sport a 2 x herniated disk, in which the Pit Bosses have the superior support for the degenerative condition. Often when walking on concrete floors with Pit Boss boots it actually feels like my feet are floating, it feels therapeutic to walk on the hard surface. My other boots, tennis shoes, street shoes don't have this quality. Currently I own 6 pairs of Pit Boss and one pair of another Boss line, each has a designated use, with 3 pairs that I rotate out weekly for daily work use. I am purchasing an 8th pair for non work use. I took two pairs to central america to work with the Green Sea Turtles last year, they protected my feet from the sharp cutting fingers on the bottom of the turtles flippers while we were measuring and inspecting these 400lbs gals. The flippers are so strong that your feet are pushed back hard and you loose your balance. One pair of boots has some slight nicks from the flippers. My friend didn't wear Timberland, her boots were ripped up badly. Another time I misjudged and hit my Pit Boss boot with the chainsaw blade, soft toe in 2006. The cut wasn't as deep as I thought it would be as the boots are tough, my toes were saved, I still wear those boots in daily use. Nobody laughs at me for wearing men's boots, they think its wise if they know anything about boots. I am sold on these boots, obviously.

These boots have a weak foundation plate. After only 3 months of wear, they began to squeak because the "plate" broke or tore. I took them to a shoe repair, but they could do nothing about it since it was the "bones" of the boot. This squeaking is extremely annoying and embarrassing because it is so loud. I contacted Timberline, but they would do nothing to help me fix it or discount another pair. I'm not impressed with their customer service at all. If you buy something from them, be prepared to deal with any problems on your own.

I have had 3 pairs of the Timberland Pro Pit Boss boots, and will buy more in the future. I work in Industrial Maintenance, and they hold up well, are very comfortable, and are the most reasonably priced for the quality. I get a year to 1-1/2 years out of a pair, then I bring them home for work duty around the house. Love 'em!

This boot has worked well for me from being on my feet for 10+ hours surveying to doing yard work. The area around the ankle can be a little stiff so thicker socks help a bit. An insert for additional padding helped a lot for longer days on my feet, but this shoe is far from hard on the feet compared to other boots I have tried before.

This is my second pair of these boots. The last pair lasted four years before the soles rotted and delaminated. In spite of that I bought another pair because they are so incredibly comfortable and supportive. They are also accurately sized for my feet. Purchasing from Zappos is always a pleasure. They offer a wide variety of products and stand by what they sell.

These are great boots. I wear these boots everyday and am on my feet 9 hours a day minimum, but I come home and my feet feel fine. And they are durable, they last about 2 years with that kind of use. This is my third pair and I'm certain in 2 more years I'll have a fourth.

Bought them over a year ago, they are excellent for the everyday outdoor construction environment! They are comfortable and breaking them in was easy (didn't take long). Steel toes are always a bit heavy, but that's how it is. The previous reviews convinced me to try them, and I didn't regret it. I own Timberland and KEEN hiking boots, so I already know both of them make great shoes. I'm still wearing them, but might need a new pair in a few months. You wont be disappointment with them. Happy feet = Happy customer.

I use the boots for work and they are very comfortable. They have proven to be well worth the purchase and they look very nice. I walk around and stand on concrete floors 10 hours a day and my feet feel great after. The only down side so far is that the laces are too short.

My husband loves them! He had to get a half size smaller than his normal shoe. They are a little stiff and take some breaking in, but a great shoe.

Bought these to give my husband as Christmas gift - as he was in need of new boots for work. He works in a car garage and is basically on his feet all day. He has worn them for only a few weeks, but LOVES them!

I was a long time Doc Martens Steel Toe buyer until I ordered four pairs in a row and none fit quite right. I ordered these boots out of desperation and did not expect much. Three months later I can happily tell you that these boots are absolutely amazing and the best steel toes out there. They are very light and you would never know that they had a steel toe when wearing them. They are highly recommended!

I have had 3 pairs of these over 15 years. I do a lot of manual labor in greenhouses and in construction and these boots are the best I have ever worn. They last me about 4 years per pair and they hold up very well. They're also really comfortable!

Bought these for my son since he's in construction. Had been wearing his old Tim's for since he was in 6th Grade (he's 27 now). Loves these. He said they are very light and very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Recently bought low T-land Pros w/ black soles and they are really comfortable under my feet. The 6" T-land Pro's that I just bought last week have a much harder insole.
