These are the perfect first ballet shoe. And, as always, Zappos sent them the next day so it was faster than me running around town tyring to find ballet shoes for my two year old. I ordered one size up like the other reviews said and they fit just fine. They are true Capezio quality.

If your child's foot is wide, then this is the ballet shoe for you. You can adjust the tightness with the tie string and they wear for a long time (the last pair she had lasted 9 months).

After reading the reviews, I ordered a full size up, but these are way too big! Guess I'll try a smaller size. At least Zappos is great with returns!

Nice shoe, but my daughter has super wide square toe box. We ended up going with Bloch brand where I could get an extra wide.

I bought my daughter the size she usually wears in sneakers and they were snug. A half a size up fit perfectly.

These little ballet shoes are classics! Simple, nicely made, and so sweet. My 6 year old loves them. (FYI, not for wearing outside. Just for dance class.)

Adorable ballet slipper, very comfortable on my toddler's feet. My daughter measures as a size 5.5 (I usually buy her a 6) and ordered these in a 7 and had to send them back. The 8 fits her well, a 7.5 may have been perfect but the 8 fits great with a little room to grow.

Amazing quality! Great fit. Runs whole size small. Bought my daughter 8.5 Narrow and she wears usually 7.5 in shoes.

I ordered 1/2 size larger than normal based on reviews, but it was definitely too big. My experience: true to size! Elastic tie seems nice -- looks more comfortable than old fashioned cotton tie.

I just wanted to share my experience with this ballet slipper. I ordered my daughter's regular shoe size, as well as the next 2 sizes up, based on the seeming inconsistencies in ballet slipper sizing. We ended up keeping the ones that were her street-shoe, or regular shoe size. There was no need to size up or down.

My 5 year old daughter loves them! She wears them for Irish Step Dancing, and looks so cute!

Great shoes! The bow unties easily which is a little bit of a pain; however, the leather is soft and the fit is perfect. Make sure you order one size up, and if your child has a medium to wide foot, wide width is best.

Great shoe for beginners. My daughter usually wears a size 7 comfortabally so I ordered a 7W but it was too small. Thank goodness Zappos has such a great return policy! I'll be reordering in a larger size.

I am very happy with this purchase. I definitely needed to buy a full size up. They are well made and worked great during my daughter's ballet class. Pulling the strings definitely helped them conform to her foot for a better fit.

I followed other reviewers and ordered one full size bigger for my child. Well now I am making a return. For us they were not that big but they were too wide. I am returning for 1/2 size smaller and a narrower size and see if that will fit. My daughter said they felt crumbly and weird so we will try again.

I was looking for shoes for my daughter that would match her tutu dress (she isn't in a ballet class yet as she is very little). I thought I'd give Capezio a try and I was very pleased with the product! It runs a little small, so it's something to consider, but Zappos is already sending me the right size, and I cannot wait! I will be buying my infant the same kind. Thanks Zappos for such great, great service!

Great ballet shoe especially for little ones! My daughter is 2 and loves them. They run full size too small. I ordered her an 8.5 and she normally wears a 7.5.

Children Ballet Slippers - Quick delivery and the shoes were received as described. The only flaw with the shoes is the laces are too long, but other than that, overall very satisfied with the purchase.

Kid's Capezio Daisy Ballet Slippers - My daughter loves these ballet slippers. She says they are more comfortable than the Bloch ones she had before. I bought a half size larger than her regular shoe size and the slippers fit great with a little room to grow. They are also a really pretty shade of pink.

Very nice - I bought 2 pairs of these slippers for my daughters, unfortunately there was no pink slippers in their sizes, and for my older daughter they didn't even have it in white, so I ended up buying her the black ones because we need it for their dance class ASAP, but they are good, durable, very classic looking, fit nicely and snuggly, girls like it a lot, and me too. :) Definitely recommend it for dance, and gymnastic classes, but not for everyday use (unless it’s a practice, they have NO arch support, none! - and kids need it - so they would not have problems with flat feet and other problems with feet in their adulthood, especially girls who would need to wear their heels in no time... :) Hope this review helps, :)
