I HAVE HAD MY BOOT FOR MANY YEARS NOW AND LOVE THEM , BUT THE GLUE THEY USED TO HOLD THE SOLE TOGETHER IS BAD - ITS SEPERATED MANY PLACES AND SHOO GLOO SEVERAL TIMES TO KEEP WEARING THEM.

Color way too dark, nothing like picture. Should have sent them back. Dissapointed to say the least.

The boots looked fine and arrived in a timely manner, but I couldn't even get my foot into them! With so many people reporting "it's too small" or "it's too big," I wonder if there's not a QA problem at the Ariat manufacturing facility? I know what size I normally wear and these boots weren't even close. I might try to order again if the return process goes smoothly, but I'm concerned that if I go up half a size I might end up with a pair of the "too big" boots next time.

My husband received a pair of these about 14 months ago and he just loves them, BUT the soles have worn clear through and they are no longer wearable. He wore them daily for work which is outside and much walking. I want to get him another pair but I would also like them to last longer then 14 months!

I love the style of these boots. They look to be made well and would last a good long time. However when I recieved them the actual foot bed of teh boot was obviously plenty big for my foot but I couldnt even get my foot in past the extremely narrow shaft to put it on! So, I have to send them back and I think I will look to see if there is a pair of arat boots with a wider shaft. I would suggest to order a definate size bigger if you expect to get your foot inside the boot.

I have worn and enjoyed your boots for many years. When I saw the ad for the Heritage Roper which claimed to have a leather interior I decided that this was a boot that I could use. I placed my order and the boot was delivered promptly. When I attempted to put the boots on my feet, it was extremely difficult to get them on my feet. They were very comfortable to wear and fit my feet properly. When I attempted to remove them I was unable to do so by the normal means. I was only able to remove them by utilizing a boot jack. Upon examination of the interior of the boot I found that the underside of the vamp is covered by a textured surface which is very resistant to the smooth passage of a sock covered foot. I am very disappointed in the design of this boot and feel that I was misled by the product description

Didn't fit like previous Ariat's of the same size. Not sure why. Just had to send them back, couldn't use them.

They were uncomfortable at first. As with any boots I realize you have to break them in. Ive had them for a couple of months now and they still feel horrible. The heel width seems wider than what it should be for the size I wear. Not at all happy with my purchase.

Worst experience I've ever had with customer service. One boot fits, other doesn't. Can't get my heal into left boot was told by customer service to figure out what size a need.

I ordered this boot, and the box indicated this boot was inside -- but it was a women's completely different boot

Purchased these boots last night, been looking for the lighter distressed color for months at seven different locations across the state. Been wearing this style since mid 90's, this would have been my fifth or sixth pair. Wore today for first time to break in at the office so I wouldn't mess up. Just walking up and down halls, nothing strenuous. Toke boots off when I got home, noticed one boot was coming apart at the seams. Needless to say I am very disappointed. I have been a loyal Ariat customer for over twenty five years without any problems. Have four other styles of ariat that I wear regularly that have held up fine, hope this isn't the future, please fix quality control please or I will have to go back to justin entirely. So what do I do now, this has been my favorite roper boot and I would like a pair that will stay together in the lighter distressed color in pictures??

Tried 4 pair all within my size. Usually for a 9 to 9.5. D or E. Tried all the way up to a 9.5 EE. Heal was coming up and was still tight at the top of my foot. Highly disappointed. As the reviews for this simple boot for horseback is tops. Should have expected more from such a well trusted brand.

I have been buying and loving these boots for over 12 years. This latest pair rips the heels of my socks each time I put them on. The left boot feels tighter than the right. Once on they are as comfortable as ever. If my socks are a bit damp/sweaty I can't slip the boots on at all. What happened in your design change that caused this ? I noticed a black patch inside where it rubs that I've never noticed on previous product. Is this new?

These boots are terrible. Do not buy them. I would return them if I could but I already threw away the box. They are so stiff and won’t break in and rub my legs almost raw. They are torture. Trust me when I tell you, do not buy them

I have had terrible luck with Ariel boots through a he years. After about a year they start squeaking when you walk. I called the company and was told to put baby powder in them each time before wearing them. I wear Tecovas now but I bought a pair for my girlfriend this year. We will have to wait and see but if they start sqeaking I'm done with ariats forever.

I really like the boot. But it is the first time in all the years that I have worn boots that I was not even able to get the boot on my foot! Way too narrow.
