They felt very hard to walk in, let alone even try to do zumba in. The split sole just was not for me. I loved the color, though.

I considered this shoe for zumba but I'm confused about sizing. Instead of an exchange, I'm returning as I don't want to play a guessing game with sizes through mail order. I'm not sure if dance shoes normally make so much noise on flooring. I was looking for a good zumba shoe, didn't want it to be "loud." Sad, because it seemed like a great supportive dance sneaker.

So very disappointed. I should have heeded the reviews, but instead I ordered my regular size because I wanted the pink. WAY too small. So, back they go.

I bought these for line dancing. I do like the arch support but the soles are not slick enough for turns like the Capezio, so unfortunately have to return them even though I like the support and cushioning better.

The pink runs a half size smaller than the black. I wear 6.5 or 7 in street shoes. I wear a 8.5 in the black, but a 9.0 in the pink!

Orders one size bigger than my shoe size and the fit was perfect. As a newer dancer, the split sole felt a bit too unstable. I'll definitely try these again as I gain experience.

I had high hopes for these shoes, but they just didn't work out for me. Most people seem to love them and there are tons of great reviews, but for someone who needs arch support, this may not be the shoe for you. I was really disappointed because so many people seem to rave about them, and they're more attractive than some of the other dancy type shoes!

I am a wide 7.5- I had to buy 1.5 sizes up. It fit well. I used it for Tracy Anderson Method and for Zumba. Tested them out. I loved the heel support and flexibility but I have to say that there is NO support in the toe box, which I don't understand. Most dance cardio is on the TOES and therefore I am looking for a shoe that has extra support in the pad of the foot up front. Very let down that a DANCE SHOE COMPANY hasn't figured that one out yet...

I am overweight and have been doing Zumba since August, but my generic running shoes were cutting off the circulation in my toes during class. I bought these due to great reviews and was initially pleased with the comfort. My only initial complaint was that they appeared bulky at the ankles, but they seemed to still provide good ankle support. They definitely have more flexibility and comfort in the toe and foot, giving me great range of motion for Zumba. The sole also has a great grip/slide ratio so I can do turns easily, but not slip all over the floor. However, after trying these out for three months, I have determined that they do not have enough arch support. Since the sole is split, technically they have no arch support, but I did not notice that right away. My arches have been hurting after class and I think it is time for me to move on to try some new shoes. That is a shame since I have these gently used Bloch Boosts taking up space in my closet.

I am a plus size girl that LOVES to do Zumba. I have been on a mission to find the perfect shoe for this. I thought I hit the jackpot with this shoe, but that was not the case. They started to hurt soon after wearing them along the spot where there is no sole...between the toes and heel. 3/4 through a Zumba class, I could not feel my toes. I have not experienced any feeling like this in my other shoes. It was not until I tried a class in these that I learned they are not the ones for me. Back to the drawing board I go....

I read the reviews and they were very helpful. I'm a 5 and I ordered a 6 and they fit. They are a little weird looking. The lace ties too low and doesn't give the ankles any support. I have to return these because the right shoe has a clicking/suction sound on the right heel. I thought at first there was something at the bottom of the shoe that was sticking to the floor but there was not. And that is why I need to return these. :(

I bought these to wear to my salsa dancing class. I did a lot of research on which size to buy and got a 10 according to the recommendation by Zappos and other reviewers. I normally wear 8.5 to 9 (9 in Nike Women's) and have a fairly wide feet. I wanted to wear thick socks with the shoes, so I sized up to 10. 10 feels too big even with thick socks but the shoes are too narrow for me to wear even thicker socks. The problem is that the lacing doesn't go up far enough for me to cinch the top of the arch without cutting off circulation to the rest of the feet. I am swimming in these shoes! In addition, the sole is too grippy for turns even though there is a pivot point. I am very disappointed but I cannot return it as I've already worn the shoes to class twice.

Agree with other reviews - so small - but look like if they were the correct size, they would be comfortable.

OK, what's up with the sizing of these shoes? I normally wear and 5.5, six at the most. I reordered up to a 6.5 and they are still too tight!
I'm going to try a seven this time and see what happens. I really do like these shoes, but the sizing is way off.

This is a comfortable shoe but I found it 1 1/2 sizes too short. I've ordered 2x and am afraid to try it again

I bought these shoes for Zumba because they were highly recommended. I have worn them to 2 classes. I had to take them off both times and finish in my socks. I have been doing zumba for 3 years and wore several brands of regular sneakers/running shoes to class. NONE of them ever hurt my feet and calves as bad as these things. The numerous issues that I noticed... 1) there is NO arch support even though some people said it was great. The shoe actually bends in half at the arch, its flexible not supportive. 2) the inside soles aren't attached so they come out and move around easily. 3) the thick heel caused terrible aching in the heels of my feet. 4) the shoes are very low cut so they feel like they are going to fall off.
The only positive I found was that they do pivot very well, which is necessary for zumba. However, I can buy slides to go over my other shoes that will help with that.
So sorry that I wasted my money.

This is the first time wearing Bloch sneakers as I've worn capezio for years. I had to go up 2 sizes, so take note that they are made on the small side. I've folk danced with them 3 times and my feet hurt. I can describe the shoes as flat and heavy, even though they are padded and have that clear air insert in the heal. My feet ached the next day. The problem with capezio is that I was an in between size. I think I'll be going back to capezios and size up with an insert.

I bought these sneakers to do Tracy Anderson dance cardio. For me, they didn't have enough support. I felt unsteady and as though I was going to develop shin splints. Returning.
PS - I followed other reviewers' advice and ordered a size up. These run quite small and narrow so it was definitely a good idea.

I'm on a mission to find the perfect exercise shoe! I purchased these shoes specifically for Zumba. It's the first time I ordered THIS style of shoe and I found that for me, I still needed the support of the full sole going all the way across the shoe. I have high arches and a high instep; they just felt awkward. The other thing I didn't like was the top sides of the shoes. They are very nicely cushioned (a little too much for my feet)but they felt and looked awkward on my feet; maybe because I typically wear a size 5. I think they needed one more eyelet at the top for a more supportive fit. I think this is a well-made shoe just not the right style for my feet. I will try the Ryka Transition as it has so many great reviews. Zappos is GREAT for free shipping and returns. I know I will eventually find the perfect shoes!

I'm not sure why other reviewers have indicated that these shoes have good arch support. I have high arches and found these shoes to be painful to dance in after a couple weeks of use because there is no support in the middle of the shoe. They made the balls of my feet hurt. I had custom insoles made for my Blochs, which didn't help. The person who made the insoles looked at the shoe and said "This is an archless shoe. There is no support in the middle." If you don't need good arch support I think these shoes would be great. They made spinning and sliding a lot easier, and they are lightweight. I guess they're just not for my high-arched feet. Too bad I can't return them after having tried them out.

I was looking for a good Zumba shoe and have a high arch. The soles of these shoes are too slick for Zumba on hardwood floors and soles are "hard", not soft rubber like one might expect. Even with arch support inserts, I had to return these. They were super cute so hated to return them. Also, not enough ankle support.
