The shoes are great and perfect for dance class. When was wearing gym shoes to zumba, the traction on the shoes held my foot in place when I wanted to turn. The result was a twisted knee. With these shoes I have traction where I need it, but I'm still able to glide and pivot on the floor. No more twisted knees! I usually wear a 9, I ordered a 9.5. The shoe is still a little tight, but I'm hoping it just needs to be broken in.

Light shoe, makes dancing easy because of the flexibility to slide. However, it is firm on the ankles giving you support.

Lightweight, flexible supportive dance sneaker. The perfect "flat" shoe for dancers who want to give their feet a break and perfect their form in comfortable shoes with a slight elevation. Only criticism is that the box area should be bigger, both to accommodate bunions and allow the toes to spread. I think it's too pointy. Also, the size I settled on (one whole size up from my street-shoe size) was a teeny bit too small, but the next size up was way too big. Overall, am happy with the Mesh Sneaker.

Based on reviews, I ordered up a full size, but the shoes still felt a little snug. Guess it depends on the type of sock you wear, etc. Also, I need to put in an insert for additional support, so am sending them back and ordering a half size larger.
My dance instructor wears them and recommends them highly for zumba-type classes.

For me this shoe is perfect but I normally wear an 8 and when I saw the reviews I ordered a 9 and it fits great. Comfortable and lightweight and didn't have to break it in like some shoes!

Wow, these feel great but I should've read the reviews. They do run about a size or more small. Will order the larger size for sure.

I got these for work because I like to pretend that I can use my work shoes for dancing when I'm not working. This seldom happens but hey...one must dream. Before this I had some Capezios...which I loved and hated in different ways. The blocks are clunkier in their construction but sturdier. The heel feels incredibly stable and the material didn't feel like it would side all over unlike some of the softer soled blocks. Also, the foot strike is still louder then a regular shoe but quieter then the hard Capizeo plastic. I wear between a 9.5 and a 10 and got an 11 in this shoe and it is still too small. I'll need to go up somewhere between a half and full size again. so I'll be trying a 12 next...wow. It's not even a regular chart just go with it. Style looks like a tennis shoe when you wear it except for the hoof type heel that sets it all apart a bit.

Definitely super comfy shoes, although not a ton of ankle support. I am using them for walking and gym workouts so they fit the bill for that.

I bought these to replace ballroom dance practice shoes. They provide much more support that protects my knees and ankles. I tried them out in my Zumba class too, and they're performing very well. Zumba and dance class are workouts and these provide the right type of support and function for those activities. MUST BUY AT LEAST ONE SIZE UP!

After reading the reviews and watching the video, I decided to order up a size & 1/2. For me, this was too much - I tried them on, I could tell that they were going to be a great shoe (they felt very comfortable and had nice support) but were much too long. I am sending them back and ordering a half size down (or one shoe size up from my regular size). I don't necessarily care for the style or color, but for me, comfort and support rule!

I own the previous version of the Boost. I typically wear a size 6.5 sneaker. I ordered a 7 and had to return it for an 8, which was still somewhat too small. So when the new Boost came out I ordered a 9 because 8.5 was never available online. The 9 is a full size too big. I will wait for the 8 to come back in stock and order another pair. Very disappointed in availability of sizes.

Have bought Bloch Boost DRT numerous times in black, and are great. The ones in pink seem a little bulky but are comfortable...not totally satisfied because of the bulk.

The shoes are very comfortable however they seem to run small so you have to order 2 sizes bigger than your normal shoe size. I usually wear a 10 and had to end up buy a 12 1/2 which fit perfect. I bought this shoe for my Zumba class and ended up using it also for my salsa classes. Unfortunately the qualify of pull up tab in the back is very poor. It frayed after just 2 uses and needless to say I was very disappointed. I considered sending it back however I had already worn them twice. I guess I will have no other recourse but to end up cutting it out.

At first this shoe felt so strange because there is no "sole" under the arch - it's just padding for arch support and the mesh liner. But - dancing in them is so comfortable, and I'm not aware of the lack of sole on that part of the shoe when I'm moving. Definitely buy a pair 2 sizes bigger than your regular size. I wear an 8 1/2, the 10s were too tight, the 10 1/2s a great fit.

I like them. I am satisfied. I would not use them on a regular basis if my Zumba choreography requires a lot of jumping. They are good for ballroom dancing classes for sure you don't need to bounce a lot on your feet. If I need to compare with other brands though, I will still prefer Carpezio, but my the size from the preferred model was not available at the time purchase. In general I recommend the sneaker, but not for everyday use if you do exercise dance fitness format on an every day basis.

I am a fitness instructor and purchased these shoes to use during my kickboxing class. The sole is very flexible and gives me a large range of motion for kicking and complicated footwork. The fit is great - hugs my foot completely. I would definitely buy these shoes again.

These shoes run a full size and a half smaller than my normal street shoe. I'm waiting for the size 10 to come back in stock other wise I will have to order an 11. I prefer to dance in a loose shoe size over a tight toes size. Because then it causes your toes to hurt and for the shoe to ware out fast.

This is a must purchase if you take Zumba classes. My regular sneakers began putting stress on my knees. These sneakers allow twisting, pounding and movements that make dancing much better and fun! From reading the other reviews I ordered 2 sizes up - perfect!

I bought these shoes for Zumba class. I have flat feet and needed support. The arch support is good but there is no support on my ankle. I felt I was wearing high heel shoes and was afraid of making the turns.

What's up with the sizing? I read the reviews and ordered a 12. I normally wear a 10. The 12 was still too small. I just ordered a 12.5. But I really like the shoe. Just wish the sizing wasn't so wack.

These shoes are great! I have flat feet and require hefty arch support to keep my legs properly aligned, and these are the only dance shoes I tried that provided that level of arch support. They're comfortable and kind of tough-looking - I wish they were a bit more graceful in appearance but looks matter less than ease of use. I'm normally a 7.5 or an 8 and I needed a 9.5, and I have feet that are a little on the wide side, but I mostly buy regular-width shoes. Hope this is helpful!

I normally wear an 8.5, so I took another customer's advice and ordered a 10, and it fits great. I wish it came in a more neutral foot position, as I roll my foot out, resulting in Plantar Fasciitis. This shoe seems to increase my tendency to roll outwards and has caused a flare up in this foot issue for me. Most people with this condition roll their foot inwards, so this shoe would probably work well for those individuals. It is a well-made shoe, and of course Zappos was stellar as always with super efficient processing and delivery!

I bought these after my Capezio Dansneakers prematurely came apart. These Bloch shoes are just as comfortable as the Capezios, but they don't grip my heel as well as the Capezios, so I had to kick them down a star. I had one incident doing Salsa footwork where my heel popped out of the shoe. So now, I have to keep the heels in mind when doing certain moves... and I don't like being distracted like that. (I have enough problems learning.) I've only had these Bloch a couple weeks and don't know how well they will last. BTW.. To my surprise, Capezio immediately replaced my old sneakers. I'm very happy with their customer service. So now, I've got both... and I prefer the Capezio because of the heel issue.

They are comfortable for Zumba and Latin dance classes. Compared to my previous shoes, Capezio Dansneakers, these do not hold onto my heels as well. I often feel like my heel will pop out of the shoe.

So I really wanted to love these and dutifully scoured reviews and compared to other dance sneakers. Here are the dealbreakers: 1. too long 2. the seam on the sides rubbed on my mild bunion 3. very hard without cushion at all and thick soled and 4. the collar around the ankle was too big and too puffy.
