It was a bit hard to assess comfort since the shoe was way too small even though I had ordered one size larger than I wear in a street shoe. I recommend going to a brick and mortar store to be fitted for this shoe.

The fit is sooooo off! I'm a 7.5 N, and I tried the 8, 9, and 9.5. None worked- my toes were jammed into all of them. All were too small. No 10s in stock. :(

Since I was replacing my old, well-worn Bloch Boost DRT Mesh dance sneakers, I thought I could just order new ones, same size. I normally wear an 8.5 wide or a 9 in normal shoes. I ordered a 10, based on my old sneakers. The new sneakers are significantly shorter and narrower than my old sneakers. So back they go. I will reorder both a 10.5 and 11, just to make sure something fits. My old Blochs have been great - well made, long-wearing and comfortable. Hopefully the quality of new Bloch sneakers hasn't shrunk as much as the size!

I love the Bloch dance shoes, and have had many pairs over the years. Unfortunately because of shifts and changes in my feet as I age, the shoes don't seem to work for me anymore. But I DO still recommend them to many of my friends and students who like to dance NIA, Zumba or anything else. I have loved the feel of how the design captures your arches, allows for smooth turns, and supper cushioning. aDvice, order at least a full size larger than normal.

I love these for dance class. I've been ordering these shoes for at least 10 years (probably 7 or 8 pairs) and have always ordered a size 11, fully one size larger than my normal size 10. Now these are way smaller than they used to be--why has the sizing changed? They're now EVEN SMALLER! Had to reduce my rating for inconsistency.

So small! I wear a 9.5 usually and the 10.5 was way too small.

I have worn these shoes for several years for Zumba, this is pair #3 and I have to return it for another pair. I chose pink, as a change of pace...The shoe fits my size 9 foot fine, but I ordered a size 10 as I always do in Bloch (only shoe that I order a size 10!). The pair that arrived produces a loud heel 'click' every time I step (both shoes) and the heel sticks slightly with every stick--almost like there's a small piece of tape or glue on the heel. Ordering another pair and hoping for a better outcome!

I am a size 10, but ordered 10, 10.5, 11 and 11.5. Even the 11.5 was too small and tight. I am holding on to the 11.5 to wear around the house, but already can tell it is too big!!! So frustrating to find dance sneakers that fit and that are made for those of us with wide feet!

I'm usually a solid 8.5. I ordered size 9.5 and it was still too short. As others have said, the sizing is crazy. Why bother to give sizes when they're that inaccurate? This is an odd-looking shoe; I kinda liked it in black. But given the odd sizing, I just returned them.

They run very small. Ordered a size bigger and still need to go another size up.

Nice looking shoe and good arch support but it runs very small.

I had a pink pair with the same style before but this pair is narrower than that pink pair.

I wanted to love these shoes, but the lack of arch support caused pain during zumba class. They are lightweight and easy to move in. As others noted: run very small. I got a pr 1.5 sizes larger than usual and they fit well.

I saw reviews that this ran small and for me it sure did. I usually wear a 8.5 and ordered a 9. I'm returning this one and ordered a 10 because I do want the option of using a sock and/or an orthotic insert. I hope the 10 works. Thank you for free shipping or I wouldn't be able to try again.

Loved the look of these shoes but they did not work for me. My toes literally kept falling asleep in them. They are split across where you see that gap between the black soles. I loved how they looked and they felt fine in the fit but something about that split across the sole did not agree with my feet. They are going to goodwill because I tried to give them a chance and so now they can't be sent back.

I wear a 6 or 6.5 and ordered a 7.5. It wasn't even close to fitting properly. People told me to order up but 2 to 2.5 sizes is ridiculous. I don't know where Blochs are made but they really need to re-evaluate their sizing. 1932 was a long time ago. The shoe was good looking and I may try ordering again even larger but not sure.

Comfortable but no arch support. I take 8 1/2 - 9 and had to trade up to 11 so size is not accurate. Made my feet smell like hell. Never had smelly feet. Soaked them in baking soda, the dye ran, machine washed better, bought odor eaters.

I bought these shoes to wear during dance. I have fallen arches and shin splints, and my regular dance shoes only aggravated them. These shoes were great in the beginning, but after about a month, they caused me EXTREME pain. Do not get these shoes if you have problematic arches! Since they are so flexible in that area, they offer little to no arch support. There are many other dancers at my school who don't have fallen arches, and who love these shoes, but I can't keep them on my feet for more than 10 minutes. These are great shoes, just not if you have foot problems.

I have been buying these shoes for several years. I have average width feet. My last pair was somewhat narrow, so I ordered a new pair before I really needed them. The new pair is even more narrow. I am returning them and going to look for a new style - sadly.

Shoe runs very small. I wear a size 9 but because of previous reviews I bought the 11, and it fits very well! I can wear comfortable socks with them or not. Other than sizing, I really like these shoes, so much easier to use than tennis shoes .

I really wanted to love these shoes, but decided not to keep them, because I could not feel any arch support, and could feel the line of heel cup under the back of my arch. They just weren't comfortable enough to keep and try out in my Zumba class. I'm really surprised by how many people say that they have lots of arch support for very high arches, because I don't think I have high arches at all, and couldn't feel any support. I usually wear a 9, and ordered both a 9 1/2 and a 10. The 10 was a good fit, so I didn't even try on the 9 1/2, but my teenage daughter, who wears an 8 tried them on and didn't like their arch support either, though they fit her on length and width.

I have flat feet. I must be different then most because I need flat shoes for my feet not to hurt. This shoe has a high arch. too much for me. Cute shoe though.

I bought these shoes as an exact replacement for another pair of Blochs I had worn out. I was so disappointed that the sizing had changed, or there was a manufacturing defect in the right shoe, and not enough room in the toe box--just the right shoe. I went ahead and wore them thinking I would eventually break them in. That was silly on my part. It never happened. Anyway, it's very uncomfortable dancing in them and now I'm looking for a different pair; however, the sizes are so weird on Blochs I don't know what I'm buying so I may go back to Nike. I'm so disappointed because the previous pair I owned (exactly like these!) were awesome.

I have been wearing these shoes to Zumba and dance classes for about three months now. The first time I wore them, without any supports inside the shoes, I was very surprised to find my knees hurting! I didn't expect that. Once I added my own (store-bought) arch and heel support, it was much better but of course, I don't have as much room in the shoe. Overall it is comfortable, but I don't like the hard plastic bottom of these shoes. I didn't mind having to find the right size, since the shoe does run small, but to me they are clunky. For those of you with wide feet, the mesh takes care of that - no need to worry about a wide width. However, I am seriously considering getting another pair just so I don't have to wear these all of the time.
