I teach and do OULA, a fabulous high cardio dance workout, five to six days a week. I've tried just about every brand and style of shoe out there, and these are the shoes! I like a lightweight shoe that doesn't feel like I have a shoe on. I need a generous toe box or my feet are going numb three songs into a 16 song playlist. I need good lateral support because we jump side to side a bunch. We do a loopy of turns and regular gym shoes gripped the floor too well. I have a tendency to dance flat footed when I get tired. Dance moves look much better when you can point or flex your toes. These shoes have a generous toe box. They have a sweet spin spot on the ball of the foot to make turns easy putting less pressure on my knees. I love that pointing my toes and flexing my feet is so easy. They have great lateral support, yet they are a lightweight breathable shoe. I can feel instantly when I start dancing flat and get on the balls of my feet again. Two minor notes: You don't have super stopping power when you are moving forward if you are on the balls of your feet (because of the spin spot,) you need to use the toe or heel of the shoe for this. They run super small. I normally wear a size 8, and I order 9.5 so I can wear workout socks with them. Ordering my fifth pair today.

My feet measure 11¼C. For the last 40 years this size has been unavailable due to most shoes past size 10 do not come in half sizes. I was forced purchase size 12 to accommodate the extra ¼" of length. Size 12 has been unavailable in a C width forever so I tried D. That was too roomy, I might as well have worn the shoe box. Size 12B was a perfect width but it narrowed the toes which caused pain. To make matters worse, I have high arches. Most shoes that I have are uncomfortable because of no arch and store-bought arches do not work very well either. I was amazed when I found these funny looking sneakers. I ordered an 11½B, fully expecting to have to return them, but they were perfect! I will buy another. I am thrilled. I have not had shoes that fit correctly... ever!

I read all the reviews on this shoe about it running a size to a size and a half small. I was desperate to find a comfortable shoe for Zumba because nothing felt good to my feet. So I took a chance and ordered this shoe 1.5 sizes larger. It was a strange thing to do since I never wore a 10.5 ! However, the shoes fit great! They look like my regular size. They are very flexible also.

Love these shoes. I wear a 7 and ordered an 8 and they fit perfect. Very nice to dance to the quick Zumba steps. Also, there toe tip is a must to have.

I don't wear these shoes just for dancing! They are lightweight, flexible and very comfortable -- and especially good for people with high arches. An added bonus is they don't make your feet look like you are wearing 2 bricks! At first, I thought they had great arch support, but after wearing them all day, I would rate the arch support at moderate. As other reviewers have stated, the sizing is a little off. I ordered one full size larger than I usually wear in a closed toe shoe. After I added my orthotics, I wished I had ordered 1 1/2 sizes larger. Orthotics make the toe box a little too snug, but these shoes are little gems. I will wear them (with comfort) as long as I won't be on my feet all day. For that, I would need to order the next size up...and I just may do that!

These shoes are great for Zumba! But beware, they run very small. I had to exchange them twice for a bigger size. I have never worn shoes larger than size 8. I needed a size 10 in these shoes. The shoes have been worth the trouble, and Zappos made the exchange easy.

Buy 2 to 3 sizes larger than what you normally wear. My shoe size is 6.5, and I wear 8.5 or 9 in these. Once you have the right size - they're fabulous. Excellent arch support and cushioning. They accommodate a wide foot. Perfect for my dance classes and they look good too.

I took everyone's word here and ordered a size larger and they are way too big. But they are great, comfy and stylish in a geeky, what kind of shoes are they kind of way. And I love the sweet spin spot and the way they make me want to leap all over my house.

Great jazz shoes. The perfect shoe for Zumba. There is no sticking to the floor. Having two knee replacements this was why I chose a dance sneaker. They are wonderful. Recommend them to all my friends.

For years I refused to buy the Bloch Boost DRT Mesh Sneakers for Zumba class because I don't like the style. I recently bought them and I'm very pleased with them. I highly recommend them. I have feet problems (three surgeries, and had plantar fasciitis on both feet). I need well cushioned shoes, especially at the ball of the foot, with good arch support. These shoes have both. I also found that they help me keep my balance better than other sneakers. Also, now I can make the turns without sticking to the floor and stressing my knees. They run very small. I usually ware a size 6 to7 in sneakers (6 in dress shoes) but had to get a size 8. I don't like my toes touching the shoe. I love my Bloch. I wish I had bought them years ago.

I love this shoe but it runs small. I normally wear an 8 so I ordered a 9. It still pinched at the toe. I then ordered a 9.5 it fits perfect. Returning this shoe was easy.

This is my third pair in fifteen years. My favorite shoe! Great flexibility for not only dancing but as a general run around shoe. I wear it spring-fall outside, can slip on thin and thick socks with no trouble. Runs true to foot size, and should be worn tight.

Excellent but -- sizing is off, which the reviews do tell you, and which I didn't read! Good thing you are! Zappos staff were wonderfully helpful in getting the sizing sorted out and quick delivery free after two tries. Everything is good about the shoe once you get their right size for your foot.

In my point of view, these are the best Zumba dancing shoes. But I don't know what Bloch has done that I don't fit on previous purchased shoes, the sizes are weird. So I need now to purchase 2 sizes bigger and see if that works!

Very comfortable for my Zumba class on the regular wooden floors. Slippery enough to turn and move easier. I used to suffer knee pain with regular sneakers and I wished I had this shoes since I started learning Zumba. I will definitely recommend these shoes for those who suffer rheumatic fever or any pain on knees.

These shoes are really good for line dance class. Regular athletic shoes are too grippy to slide across the floor the way we do. I normally wear an 8 1/2 or a 9 and wound up having to get a 10 1/2 in this shoe, so be advised. I paid money, and they're worth it.

I love these shoes! I've been doing Zumba and other aerobic classes for years now and just assumed that I would have to live with the knee pain and tingling, numb feet that came with it. These shoes, though, have quite possibly changed my life! I usually wear a 7.5 and run a little wide but not enough to wear a wide width, and I finally ended up fitting perfectly into a size 9 in these shoes. These have a large toe box (in a good way) and a sole perfect for twisting and turning. The split sole makes them super flexible while the wide base gives great stability. I will be ordering several extra pairs just in case they're discontinued!

Comfy dance shoe! My feet get hot very easily and the mesh helps them breathe. Based on other reviews, I did buy one size larger -- I'm a size 6 and a size 7 fit perfectly. (I originally got a size 7.5, but that felt just a little too loose and I had to pull the laces very tight.) And as always, A+ to Zappos shipping. The shoes arrived the day after I ordered them!

These are the most comfortable shoes I have bought. LOVE THEM You Should not wear these if you have to climb ladders as I was on a tour of a lighthouse and almost fell coming down the ladder. I was going to buy a pair for my granddaughter, but am afraid she might fall on the playground equipment.

Alert for people hunting for men's dance shoes... None of the Bloch dance sneakers he liked seemed to come in mens sizes, so I bought these for a man who wears 8.5 in mens shoes. My internet search said to go up 2 sizes to convert to mens sizes from womens, but we had to go up 3 sizes. 8.5 to 11.5. He's very happy with them.

This is my third pair of these shoes. I have been wearing the Bloch Boost Mesh Sneaker style for more than 10 years. I love the flexible arch, and that I have full of range of motion in these shoes including mobility in my ankles. I am not a dancer. I wear these as regular shoes in informal settings (including where I work). I like that they are lightweight, and I have found no difficulty with them in the rain. They generally last about 3-4 years of regular wear. They are not hiking or long-distance shoes, but they will hold up for regular about city walking on concrete.

I've worn these shoes all 4 yrs that I have taught Zumba. LOVE THEM. Have recommended them to all my classes and many friends who are on their feet...fitness coaches, teachers, etc. Just make sure you order 1-1 1/2 size larger due to foreign sizing. Good support & flexibility. Would LOVE other colors!

These are great shoe for line dancing! They provide excellent support and cushioning in the heel. The laces support your arch and my heel spurs do not hurt even after two hours of dancing!
